Welcome. Please note that this page is NOT for challenging the outcome of deletion discussions or to address the pending deletion of any page.

Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions or rejected Articles for creation drafts), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. This page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be userfied, restored as a draft or emailed to you so the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here). This means that content deleted after discussion—at articles for deletion, categories for discussion, or miscellany for deletion among other deletion processes—may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided at all.

This page is only for requesting undeletion of articles or files which have already been deleted. If the article you are concerned about is still visible, but has a warning message (template) at the top, please do not post here, but follow the instructions in the template or on your talk page. Please do not request that articles deleted under speedy deletion criteria A7, G4, G5 or G11 be undeleted here.

Note that requests for undeletion are not a replacement for deletion review. If you feel an administrator has erred in closing a deletion discussion or in applying a speedy deletion criterion, please contact them directly. If you discuss but are unable to resolve the issue on their talk page, it should be raised at Wikipedia:Deletion review, rather than here.

    Instructions for special cases

    Kelly Kline

I, 96.39.191.19, request the undeletion of this draft or Articles for creation submission deleted under CSD G13. Please restore the page as I intend to work on it. 96.39.191.19 (talk) 00:46, 22 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

    Samskip

Samskip derives from the Federation of Co-operatives, Samband, which started a shipping company, Samband Line, in 1943. Samband Line, a division of Samband, was changed into a limited company in 1991 called Samskip hf. Samskip employs approximately 1,500 people working in more than 26 countries worldwide as well as agents in other locations. It is a well known company and has a lot of news activity. It should therefore be on Wikipedia, without a commercial text. For example: http://www.tradewindsnews.com/daily/95272/samskip-to-buy-geest-line https://theloadstar.co.uk/coolstar/euro-container-line-acquisition-a-cool-move-for-samskip/ http://worldmaritimenews.com/archives/226064/samskip-to-expand-norway-presence-with-nor-lines-takeover/MitchellStrb (talk) 08:18, 22 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Note: This page was deleted under speedy deletion criterion G11, indicating an page that was irredeemably promotional or blatant advertising. Note that G11 deletions are more an issue with the tone of the page as opposed to its sources or formatting. As articles deleted under G11 need to be rewritten from scratch, they will not be undeleted as-is here; try contacting the deleting administrator (Ritchie333 (talk · contribs)). Alternatively, you may request the page be restored as a draft or to have the contents of its last known revision emailed to you provided you have email enabled in your account's preferences. No prejudice to going through the drafting process, that said. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 08:30, 22 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

    Fortis Bangalore

Fortis Bangalore is a hospital that everyone needs to know. It is different from Fortis Healthcare both in structure and management. Ideally located in Bangalore's Cunningham Road, a wikipedia page on FORTIS BANGALORE provides more scope to the health instituition. —09:46, 22 November 2017 (UTC)Annakoppad (talk)Annakoppad

    Metagenics, Inc.

I would like a chance to do some revising if necessary. It was deleted previously, and I was told it was written in too promotional a tone. So, I cut all superiority claims and promotional statements (which were pulled from outside sources), and now it was deleted again for having SOME of the same text (G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion) User: PaleoNeonate User:Anthony Appleyard I am new to this and would love to understand how I'm supposed to approach this. I assumed another user would review the new text since I addressed the previous issue; however, it was not considered and automatically deleted for another reason. Please, please advise; thank you! —Sydniev51 (talk) 21:16, 22 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Done draft restored. The page is still too press-release-like, so should be rewritten in a more encyclopedic tone. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 23:35, 22 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

    Victor Sanz

I was never notified of the article's deletion, and I feel that the notability was not properly addressed here given that the artist had multiple chart entries on Hot Country Songs. Please undelete so I can improve the article and make his notability clearer. —Ten Pound Hammer(What did I screw up now?) 01:55, 23 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

250th Expeditionary Military Intelligence Battalion (United States)

This is a military unit page representing the new name for the battalion which is now an expeditionary military intelligence unit, which is different than the normal military intelligence unit. This is the reason for the name change and the redirect. —Policeguy31 (talk) 02:53, 23 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I cannot figure out why anything needs to be restored. So The page "250th Military Intelligence Battalion (United States)" has been moved to "250th Expeditionary Military Intelligence Battalion (United States)" which involved deletion and no restoring. I hope that is what you want. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 03:52, 23 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

In a google search with her name JESSELYNN DESMOND you will find she comes up in every single listing in the first 20-30 pages. There is no denying she needs her own page. She is an actress ( http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1029032/) and has done 23 films and many TV shows.[reply]

    • Not done – this Requests for Undeletion process is only for articles that were deleted uncontroversially, and does not apply to articles deleted after a deletion discussion. Since the article you are here about was deleted after a discussion took place at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jesselynn Desmond, it cannot be undeleted through this process. However, if you believe that the outcome of the discussion did not reflect the consensus of the participants, or that significant new information has come to light since the article was deleted, you may contact the administrator who closed the discussion. After you do so, if your concerns are not addressed and you still seek undeletion, a request may be made at deletion review. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 03:53, 23 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

    John Hoffmire

The reason that was cited for deletion from the administrator, who goes by the alias of Sandstein, was that my argument for keeping the piece was disregarded because he doesn't like that I argued using upper-case letters. This argument is ridiculous, to say the least, because an article must be deleted only if it fulfills Wikipedia's deletion criteria, not because a user doesn't like the way someone argues. Moreover, the person whom I created a Bio in Wikipedia, John Hoffmire, easily fulfills criteria 5,6 and 7 from Wikipedia's WP:NACADEMIC criteria, which should have been a strong argument in favor of keeping the article. The discussion can be found here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/John_Hoffmire , the administrator response to why the bio I created was deleted can be found here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Sandstein#Deletion_of_Dr._John_Hoffmire_page Finally, I do admit, that arguing with upper-case letters is not the most polite way to do it, yet, there are criteria by which Wikipedia guide discussions and settle arguments, and arguing in upper-case letters does not violate any of Wikipedia's criteria. Moreover, I'm more than willing to modify any the Bio in order to comply with any other issues there may exist in order to keep the article. Best Regards and thank you! —Mario5554 (talk) 06:18, 24 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Note: The page was deleted as a result of a deletion debate. Admins will not undelete pages that were deleted with discussion here; go to WP:Deletion review or contact the administrator that closed the deletion debate instead. All-caps on the internet is interpreted as screaming, but that wasn't why it was disregarded. It was disregarded because your argument relied on sources that are tied to the subject. It's asinine to think that a subject's alma mater or employer is a third-party source (a third-party source has no connection, direct or indirect, to the subject what-so-ever). —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 06:54, 24 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It is worth mentioning that this article has also been deleted under the name Samuel Robinson (actor). It is also suspicious that two distinct versions of the Samuel Abiola Robinson were created by different editors on the same day, so we may be looking at UDP or COI editing.--SamHolt6 (talk) 22:37, 25 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
And deleted earlier under the name Samuel Robinson (Actor) with a capital 'A'. The (actor) and (Actor) pages were created by a single-purpose account (likely the subject himself based on the username and immature comment on the userpage), and that same SPA account contributed to this latest incarnation as well as providing the only 'keep' vote in the last AFD. Probably not UDP but definitely COI. ~Anachronist (talk) 00:26, 26 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
