DYK for Animal aggression
On 11 October 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Animal aggression, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that a family in Whitehorse, Canada, was so afraid of animal aggression that the parents went fully armed to walk their children to school? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Animal aggression. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Disambiguation link notification for October 17
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Fighting Irish, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Irish Catholicism (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Adoption Request
I was perusing the list of editors available for adoption and your listing caught my eye. I perused your User page, joined a couple of the animal-based wikiprojects you have listed, and came to the conclusion that you'd likely be a good fit for a mentor. You and I seem to have some similar interests, but the primary draw was that your strengths are in the areas where I feel I'm weakest, creating and expanding articles. I'd appreciate if you'd consider adopting me, though if you're unable or unwilling, I understand completely.Khan Tiger 02:08, 9 November 2012 (UTC)

Warriors, again
Wow look at me, suddenly flooding your talk page. Anyway, just curious: where'd you get those approximate lengths? I was very surprised to see them, but feel like I've seen them somewhere before... Brambleclawx 17:28, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
- Feel free to flood my talk page about Warriors any time. They were on the Warriors Wikia. If you go to "terminology" they have the approximate lengths in the length section. öBrambleberry_ meow _ watch me in action 23:26, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
- I see. I knew it was familiar! Too bad Wikipedia doesn't count Wikia as a reliable source... does Warriors Wiki cite anything? Brambleclawx 01:18, 29 December 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, I saw your cleanup in an attempt to get Warriors to FA. I'll be happy to help, especially with awkward sentences when someone feels the need to throw in upcoming books without rewriting the sentence to fix it. Unfortunately, the only references given are when the distance first appears, not what the approximate length is. However, they do make sense. Fox-length, for example, would be how long a fox is from head to tail, and the 80 cm given is within the range of 46 to 90 cm. Feel free to remove it, though. öBrambleberry_ meow _ watch me in action 15:08, 29 December 2012 (UTC)
- P.S., as an afterthought: Would you mind helping me with just a little task? In my sandbox right now is a work-in-progress of what will become the main Survivors page, as opposed to The Empty City. I don't intend to make it a real page until after A Hidden Enemy comes out and I read it, but at the same time I do need a little help. In the "inspirations and origins" section I included the story of Seekers, as HarperCollins suggested dogs first. However, I cannot find any reference of when HarperCollins, I can assume, contacted Holmes again about dogs. This would be integral to the section. öBrambleberry_ meow _ watch me in action 15:12, 29 December 2012 (UTC)
- Well, actually, I'm not as well versed in Seekers or Survivors, having read neither. I'm also not aware whether Survivors even has anything to do with Vicky Holmes; I always believed it was entirely separate with HarperCollins just recycling the name... I can dig into it a little, but I'll need some time. I guess I have some time until Hidden Enemy is out though, so I'll try my best. Brambleclawx 02:55, 30 December 2012 (UTC)

Deaths in 1902
Hello,
I can't find any death dates of producers, directors, film stars or actors that died in 1902. Can you help me with that problem? My name is Cory Machkovich. (talk) 17:29, 1 January 2013 (UTC)
- I can't find any dates either. To the best of my knowledge this means that no producers, directors, film stars or actors did die in 1902. When this doesn't apply, you simply leave out the section altogether. öBrambleberry_ meow _ watch me in action 23:37, 1 January 2013 (UTC)

I have a question for you regarding the Tamaskan Dog article, as you are a much more experienced editor than I am. I'm wondering if the references on said article to the breed club site are acceptable. It's been discussed in the past that references to breed clubs that are recognized by an external body (Kennel Club, AKC) are acceptable, but the 'Tamaskan Dog Register' is not recognized as such and most of the references can't be accessed unless you register for an account. I'm tempted to simply remove all of them, but I also feel that might be misconstrued as a bad-faith edit. Advice? --TKK bark ! 14:53, 22 January 2013 (UTC)
- It doesn't look that good to me. However, you don't want a slew of editors telling you what you did was wrong and horrible. My advice is to let editors to the page know on the Tamaskan Dog talk page that you intend to remove references to the Tamaskan Dog Register and invite them to voice their opinions on it. If there are enough good reasons to keep it, allow them to keep it. Otherwise, feel free to get rid of these references. öBrambleberry of RiverClan 22:01, 22 January 2013 (UTC)
