1948 United States presidential election in Ohio

The 1948 United States presidential election in Ohio was held on November 2, 1948. Ohio voters chose twenty-five electors to the Electoral College, who voted for president and vice president.

Democratic Party candidate Harry S. Truman won the state with 49.48% of the popular vote, winning Ohio's twenty-five electoral votes. It was the closest state in the election.^[1]
