Vietnamese passports are issued to citizens of Vietnam to facilitate international travel.

Passport Application

For passport application Vietnamese citizens have to apply at the Provincial Immigration Department. This requires an Identification Card and four passport photos.[1]

Fees

The Vietnamese passport is one of the cheapest in the world in terms of processing fees. As of 2013, the cost is approximately US$15.[2]

Visa requirements

Countries and territories with visa-free entries or visas on arrival for holders of regular Vietnamese passports

In 2016, Vietnamese citizens had visa-free or visa on arrival access to 47 countries and territories, ranking the Vietnamese passport 90th in the world according to the Visa Restrictions Index.
