Hi Corbie, Could you please take a look at this article [[Iskwē]] per this [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Iskwē&type=revision&diff=1113507339&oldid=1113456116]. [[J. K. Further, you initiated a discussion [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:J._K._Rowling&diff=prev&oldid=1114679032 after your re-insertion], not before. Surely you understand this would be inappropriate behavior on any [[WP:FAOWN|featured article]], but is blockable on an article under double discretionary sanctions? Arbitration

  • The arbitration case request Geschichte has been automatically closed after a 3 month suspension of the case.

Miscellaneous

  • You can vote for candidates in the 2022 Board of Trustees elections from 16 August to 30 August. Two community elected seats are up for election.
  • Wikimania 2022 is taking place virtually from 11 August to 14 August. The schedule for wikimania is listed here. There are also a number of in-person events associated with Wikimania around the world.

Bad and not so bad references

Hi CorbieVreccan! Just one note about this[1]: yes, both are bare URLs, and the first one is dead and apparently not even retrievable on the Web Archive. So I am in serious doubt whether the previous additions came with any knowledge about whatever was meant to be cited here :)

But FWIW, the Academia.edu upload is actually a chapter from a published book[2] which looks like a reliable source to me. But still (and unsurprisingly): there is nothing in that chapter about Bracara being the "capital" of the Gallaecians. Austronesier (talk) 21:11, 26 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

What's odd about the book chapter, and the reason I figured it was just a personal upload, is the author didn't use a version that indicates any publication data at that url. I looked at the pages, and the info with it, and didn't see it. Really odd. If it actually cited relevant, reliable content, I'd maybe check to see if it is the same text as the published chapter, or if changes have been made and it's not actually the published version. - CorbieVreccan 20:46, 27 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Corbie, Could you please take a look at this article Iskwē per this [3].
