The software industry in India is the world’s leading exporter of software services and among the world’s fastest growing software industries.[1][2] This list contains notable companies developing software in India, either based there or having development centres.

Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum), the capital of Kerala, accounts for nearly 80% of the software exports from the state.[28] Majority of the IT companies in Trivandrum is based in Technopark, which is one of the largest of its kind in Asia. Some of the big companies are listed below:
