Template: Nickelodeon co-productions * {{revisions|Template: Nickelodeon co-productions}} I only touched this template once under the alias of [[Special: Contributions/47.16.146.238|47.16.146.238]] last August. The edit in question was Italian import Winx Club added inside the European subdivision of the aforementioned template with a descriptor of “DuArt owns the rights now” or something similar. Contrary to being an American channel, said series is labeled as a Nickelodeon Original. Sometime before yesteryear went away it had gotten mysteriously erased without warning. Can a potential restoration be possible? Also I have been touching paraphernalia related to that network lately such as their characters and themed video games.

    Shortcuts

    Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in two cases. The first case is restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions (G6) or stale Articles for creation drafts (G13)), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. In the second use case, this page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be "userfied", i.e., restored as a draft or emailed to you; this way, the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here).

    This means that content deleted after discussion – through deletion processes – may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process but through deletion review instead. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided.

    Do not request that pages deleted under speedy deletion criteria F7, F9, F11, U5, A7, A9, A11, G3, G4, G10, G11 or G12 be undeleted here.

    The requester has also requested that I restore the page. As far as I can tell, I had nothing to do with the deletion of the page. I am not involved, but I have questions about the competence of this editor. It appears that the page was already restored once for the editor to improve, and that they instead moved it from draft space into article space. If that isn't what happened, then it isn't what happened. It looks as though this editor either is confused or is trying to confuse other editors.     @Elshad Iman (Elşad İman): the page was deleted under WP:CSD#G4, which applies to recreations of pages deleted through deletion discussions which are similar to the version deleted at AfD. In other words the deleting administrator didn't think your changes were enough to overcome the issues raised in the AfD. If you want it restored you have two options:
    • You could appeal the deletion - contact the deleting administrator first and use deletion review if you aren't satisfied with their response.
    • We could restore it and move it back to draft space, but people are going to be more reluctant to do that if you're going to move it to mainspace without addressing the AfD concerns. Hut 8.5 17:42, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

    I am familiar and have used cryptocurrencies for the last 3 years and I find it surprising that the page for Cardano (cryptocurrency) has been deleted. I have been researching and it is a significant 3rd generation cryptocurrency project, not very different sofistication wise from EOS.IO which does have a page.

    I assume the page had issues but, would it be possible to reinstate the page and work them?

    • Hardly worth it. The entire text was "Dowlatabad, Faryab is a village in Faryab Province, in northern Afghanistan." written by Ser Amantio di Nicolao. I would class this as a sub-stub.     I don't understand why this file was deleted. It meets the fair use guidelines. It doesn't have a free equivalent (can't find any non-copyrighted pictures of Ed Currie). It does not fail criteria 2, as it is merely a picture of an article's subject. It is used minimally, only once in the article. It has been published outside Wikipedia (link was in the file). It is very much encyclopedic, depicting the article's subject. It has contextual significance, again displaying the article's subject to readers. It was obviously in an article.     • @I-82-I: the problem is that the image originated from the Associated Press. Per WP:CSD#F7: "Non-free images or media from a commercial source (e.g., Associated Press, Getty), where the file itself is not the subject of sourced commentary, are considered an invalid claim of fair use and fail the strict requirements of Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria; and may be deleted immediately." The file wasn't the subject of sourced commentary in the article. Use of images from commercial sources is considered to fail WP:NFCC#2 because it replaces the market role of the original material. The edit in question was Italian import Winx Club added inside the European subdivision of the aforementioned template with a descriptor of “DuArt owns the rights now” or something similar. Contrary to being an American channel, said series is labeled as a Nickelodeon Original. Sometime before yesteryear went away it had gotten mysteriously erased without warning. Can a potential restoration be possible? Also I have been touching paraphernalia related to that network lately such as their characters and themed video games.
