The April Fools Day celebrations of 2024 marked the twenty-first year that April Fools Day was celebrated on Wikipedia.[a] This year's festivities saw nearly 250 joke AfD nominations; so many nominations were made that the April Fools Day deletion log had to be split. Major occurrences of this year's April Fools Day celebrations included Operation Radiance which saw the creation of numerous color themed AfDs and AfDs covering Internet related memes and events from 2004 to 2024.
