A tag has been placed on Famous Gouds, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.  – Tivedshambo (talk) 19:52, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Famous Gouds. NawlinWiki 20:46, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Laxma Goud, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.gallerysoulflower.com/ARN-84-Laxma-Goud.aspx. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 20:26, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]
Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Bangarappa.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 23:53, 23 May 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Genisock2 (talk) 23:53, 23 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Saibabagoud.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sdrtirs (talk) 01:53, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Raja Narsa Goud

[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Raja Narsa Goud. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Raja Narsa Goud. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:05, 29 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Jignas has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. jheiv talk contribs 17:10, 24 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There are several references been provided in the article. Article will be improved along. I propose, do not delete.--User:Praveen goud

A tag has been placed on File:Vanishree.gif requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. —SpacemanSpiff 17:54, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

1.Lack of accountability and transparency in system, nepotism and deliberate denial of inclusive growth by a systematised concurrence and collusion among politicians of both ruling and opposition political parties, corporates, factions, lobbyists, theologists and state institutions.[1][2]

2.India hit by series of frequent scams and scandals right from independence cutting across all political parties by spreading into all sectors of society with no effective framework to contain or prevent.

This article aims in bringing together notable scams and highlight the root causes which have spread into all sectors namely defense, infrastructure, sports, IT, banking, insurance, housing, telecom, stock markets, and natural resources including private and public sponsored aid, education, health and social welfare programmes.

Mr. Praveen, I really appreciate you for taking out so much time to edit the article Notable Scams in India. What I would like to say is that, your edits have been good, but the thing is, opinions are usually not accepted in Wikipedia. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of El Gordo (Galaxy cluster), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.breitbart.com/print.php?id=xprnw.20120110.DC33461&show_article=1.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. The Romance of the Far Fur Country

[edit]

Great work on The Romance of the Far Fur Country. You beat me to it! One thing, though: the Hudson's Bay Company, which produced the film, is a Canadian company. The film first premiered in Winnipeg, Canada. So although the cameramen hired were American, the film was produced in Canada by a Canadian company, so far as I can tell. Would you have any objection to my adding Category:Canadian documentary films alongside the American one, at the very least? We commonly do that for co-productions, and at the very least, it seems like we have a Canada/U.S. collaborative venture, here. Thanks, Shawn in Montreal (talk) 15:15, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Nabob

[edit]

Hey, Praveen goud, just letting you know that there's no reason to make a new article called Nabob (British) if there's no disambiguation page or if it's the main subject of the dab page (as this is). You should instead write the article on the Nabob page itself, which I see you blanked. The parenthetical addition is only necessary for the targets of dab pages. Thanks! Writ Keeper 21:22, 14 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Writ, thanks for the info. As i already created, would you help me by either redirecting blank-one or renaming new one, whatever is justified.:). I can't do either of those options!--Praveen Goud 21:30, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
Working on it. :) I've nominated the old redirect for speedy deletion; once that goes through, we should be able to make the move ourselves. Writ Keeper 21:33, 14 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, Malik Shabazz took care of it for us. The page is now at Nabob, with Nabob (British) redirecting to it. We should be good now. Writ Keeper 21:35, 14 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion notifications

Hi Praveen. Back in November, you got either an AfD or PROD notification and it was during one of the template testing project's experiments. If you could go here and leave us some feedback about what you think about the new versions of the templates we tested (1, 2), that would be very useful. (You can also email me at swalling@wikimedia.org if you want.) Thanks! Steven Walling (WMF) • talk 23:59, 17 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a search with the contents of S.P. Varadappa, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: S.P. Varadappan. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. MadmanBot (talk) 22:14, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see any duplication of content from that link. In fact, there are several other links that provided same information, and been used in citations too. The link mentioned(roxborogh) has minimum content and is immaterial of the overall article and been used as an external link.:)--Praveen Goud 19:37, 25 April 2012 (UTC)
