: Smiling at your interpretation ;) - Don't advertise votes, but if you can advertise the thoughts, fine. For votes, go by Bishzilla, just double her line if needed. I - needless to say - didn't vote by answers alone, but by knowledge of the candidates. I supported the ones with some bold (Cas Drm Kei Kel Opa Tim), and opposed all others. As I said on the talk: I can't support an arb who voted for desysopping Yngvadottir. Everybody is free of course to draw different conclusions. I added some footnotes today, one being my surprise that nobody questioned my opening statement of question 1: "Arbitration findings and the wishes of principal editors govern the use of infoboxes in articles." They could all have said: "Really? How awful!" - Anyway, there was an interesting close, reopen, and then the wiki broke ;) - I have a banner on my user page for the secret slogan of Opabinia regalis: "Readers come first." --[[User:Gerda Arendt|Gerda Arendt]] ([[User talk:Gerda Arendt|talk]]) 18:09, 1 December 2015 (UTC)

Well, isn't that sad ...

I hope you get a new account soon, Hafs! Curly Turkey 🍁 ¡gobble! 00:12, 30 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, is someone helping Hafs get rid of the hacker/hacking? That is very strange and awful. I don't have any advice but I hope someone is helping her or finding someone who can. Softlavender (talk) 01:30, 30 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed. Bgwhite is assistance being provided to this user via email and other backchannels? Irondome (talk) 01:50, 30 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your attempted ping won't work since your four tildes were used with a typo version, so I'll ping Bgwhite .... See Irondome's question above. Softlavender (talk) 02:23, 30 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Irondome and Softlavender: I know Hafs has had some help locally. Both Drmies and I are in contact with Hafs via email. Hafs mentioned being unable to log into Wikipedia as it was refusing their password. I've blocked Hafs account as a precaution. Bgwhite (talk) 04:39, 30 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Bgwhite and Drmies: My concern is that if her computer is hacked, then how do you know her email is actually reaching her and not the hacker? If her WP password was changed, then the hacker had (and presumably still has) access to, and possibly control over, her email. You really need some way to ascertain that you are corresponding with Hafs and not the imposter. I know she's overseas for both of you, but is there any way you might call her? Softlavender (talk) 04:47, 30 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Softlavender I have the same concern about Hafs email too. I don't have Hafs' phone number. Hafs never mentioned blocking their account, that is completely on me.  :) Bgwhite (talk) 05:00, 30 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Phil has her phone number and has in the past spoken to her directly (or at least met her in person, and thus presumably has her phone number), if you want to avail yourselves of her assistance. Softlavender (talk) 05:22, 30 September 2015 (UTC): edited Softlavender (talk) 05:26, 30 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
My understanding, such as it is, is that Hafs feels there is some risk that this account could be used maliciously, so if it isn't blocked, it needs to be vigilantly watched. Sminthopsis84 (talk) 16:24, 13 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Just for Hafs ....

I really hope this is sorted quickly Hafs. This must be very stressful and I really empathise if you are feeling that way. I've never seen this situation before :/ It looks like our colleagues have the situation in hand, from the comments upthread. I hope this is cleared up quickly and you are very soon back! But you're unable to edit any more, aren't you Hafs, because your account has been blocked as it was compromised, through no fault of your own, whatsoever. Dunno, somebody said that the more simple the more efficient methods. Hafspajen (talk) 16:55, 14 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I'm with Xanterix. I think your email account got abused. It takes much more than an old(-fashioned) detective to hack a computer. Drmies (talk) 22:14, 14 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, calm down, Drimatrix. Martinevans123 (talk) 22:37, 14 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Skeptics, skeptics, skeptics. Yes, my email account got abused,Drmies. But it happened because the computer was hacked. And don't tell me that I put sensors in my own computer, and by the way what is that user Pnp_20001 doing on my computer? And the <Brother- device driver that just popped out of nowhere? And my passwords that were removed from my computers too, out of nowhere - suddenly nobody asking for password any more; I just got in - without any password control at all, just "welcome" - huh? Where did the password go?? Why was the screen getting black for hours? Who is closing the tabs on me the moment I go on Wikipedia from those computers? Who is logging me out from my own computer when I log in to Wikipedia? Where are all those weird programs coming form? Who changed my password on Wiki? Is that a poltergeist? Eh? And WHY would I invent such things, to start with, Drmies? Hafspajen (talk) 14:02, 16 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • User Pnp_20001 is just a process Microsoft uses when installing a device. Perhaps you have a faulty device somewhere. Lots of people have their computers hacked, usually by criminals looking for credit card info and so on. However that wouldn't result in the kind of behaviour you describe. If your Wikipedia password is not obvious, then it's quite impossible it's been hacked except if you stored it somewhere where it could be found or if you happen to type it out each time you log in. NSA itself couldn't do it, not could people in Wikipedia itself give it away (because it's encrypted). I suggest you just get your computer serviced or get a knowledgeable friend to look at it. I also suggest you back up all your files right now in case it fails. 128.90.60.217 (talk) 15:43, 16 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • There are backed up like ages ago. And the rest of it, too. Since I am not to knowledgeable about computer, maybe that user:Pnp_20001 is OK, but the rest is still not. There are tons of things that happened with those computers, and it would take ages to describe all the weird thing going on. I rather won't discuss those things, because it is SOO OBVIOUSLY HACKED that there absolutely no doubt of it. The cursor moving all by itself, (he is not using that any more) tabs closing down when one I not closing them, flashes from the camera, programs added that there were not there the day before.... no doubt of it whatsoever, at all. Hows the weather over there? Hafspajen (talk) 15:51, 16 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weather's fine here. A bit cold. Those computers? Are you in fact part of a remote network? That would be very different. Minimum precautions would be switch off your computer each time you finish work. I should have mentioned you shouldn't store your password in your browser. That's not secure. Use a password manager. I'm just trying to reassure you. Anyone seriously hacking into your computer, NSA for example, wouldn't be doing that kind of stuff. You wouldn't know. 207.207.22.53 (talk) 04:54, 17 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • No, not willingly part of any remote network - but I might have been MADE to be, AGAINST MY WILL, of course. By the way, the FIRST password was a crappy, old and very short one. I guess that was the beginning of all the troubles to start with... unfortunately. Hafspajen (talk) 14:55, 23 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds like perhaps somebody broke in through Windows Remote Desktop. It's supposed to let a technician fix your computer from afar, but if hackers tricked you into letting them in through that door, they could take full control over your computer as you describe and install any type of awful spyware / malware / viruses they wanted to. You really need to either reinstall Windows or just buy a new computer, imo. Zeng8r (talk) 16:31, 16 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Zeng8r - exactly. AND he is adding some kind of extra programs to it every time one reinstalls the Windows ... to, but I am glad you get it. Bercause that is exactly what is happening, and Bluetooth programs and family control programs are added and what not. And if I removed them, the next day were back again. And if you are inside a coputer, there is not much trouble changing a Wiki pasworh or whatever they like to do. RAT is probably involved too. And it is illegal, of course. Hafspajen (talk) 16:56, 16 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Oh dear, a rat in mi 'puter! How very unhygenic! Martinevans123 (talk) 17:45, 16 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know the details of the recent troubles that Hafs has been having, but if an account has been compromised, it does seem more likely that someone just guessed a password or something similarly simple, because why would someone go to any more trouble just to cause mischief to a Wikipedia editor - especially to one who is interested in subjects like fine art and dogs? Boyar Wedding

I only chose the painting because it looked nice... Now I'm getting sucked into researching it! ;-) I am going to the Smithsonian next week and, time permitting, will try to see the painting at Hillwood Estate (and ask if they have additional information). I'm finding all sorts of articles from the early 1900s (beyond what I've added to the refs already) and need to figure out how to organize the material. Here's a fun "fact" (but I want to find a second source to confirm it)- the American collector who bought the painting from the artist outbid the Tsar of Russia...--Godot13 (talk) 06:46, 31 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The newly married couple (Lady of Ceremony at right)
I was thinking about putting this css crop (links to the full painting) under the opening image, in the painting section. They are a main focus of the story... If we add the artist background or historical context above, it won't seem so crowded. What do you think?--Godot13 (talk) 05:42, 1 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
We should think about a DYK nom for this (I hoped we had a little more time). In terms of off-the-wall type DYK facts we have two options: that the painting was bought by an American jeweler who outbid the Tzar, or that the painting was once in the collection of Robert Ripley (as in Ripley's Believe It or Not!)...-- (talk) 18:03, 4 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Godot13, I would go with the Ripley hook. And I would make it "pictured." If I am included as a cocreator, I have a spare DYK review I would be pleased to contribute. 7&6=thirteen () 18:19, 4 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
7&6=thirteen- I'll leave that up to Hafs. I'm away until Saturday and my notes and additional refs for this are at home. I'll try to reconstruct what I can.--Godot13 (talk) 02:03, 5 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, go for it. Where is the nomination, by the way, Godot13? Hafspajen (talk) 15:55, 6 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The page became a live article sooner than expected. I get home Saturday and can add additional info and have the DYK submitted by Sunday with three nominators 7&6=thirteen, if that works...--Godot13 (talk) 21:09, 6 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Here is a spare Template:Did you know nominations/Hold Me While I'm Naked review, which I contribute to the cause. 7&6=thirteen () 21:12, 6 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
7&6=thirteen- The article has been nominated at DYK, Template:Did you know nominations/A Boyar Wedding Feast can you check it over. I went with two versions of the same hook, if you have any other suggestions, feel free to add... I'm not sure if I made any other mistakes (DYK is not my strength...)--Godot13 (talk) 01:33, 8 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Time for you to stop being lazy, and decorate this page:

Who should be running this year? Who should be re-elected this year? What are the main criteria? And what sort of picture best tells the story of each potential candidate? Inquiring minds want to know.

  • WP:ACE2015 , rules are here , potential candidates must be willing to reveal their full legal name to WMF, age 18+, at least 500 mainspace edits. Self-nomination period is Nov 6th through Nov 17th.

Here are some people that ran last time, which is an example of a seriuz voterguide format, no pictures whatsoever.

And the final results:

I will work on gathering some data, and thinking up some potential candidates, as well.

p.s. Saw your talkpage-notice, requesting hauntingly-beautiful kitten-pictures, so here you go.  :-)

But on the serious topic, no Mandy, I'm not saying *you* should run for arbcom. You are a notorious wiki-criminal on the Swedish Wikipedia, you will never get enough votes to be on arbcom!  :-)     But what I am saying, is that you should write a nominations-guide, and a voter-guide. Instead of running yourself, you can just help pick the rulers of Kvenland Arbcom, with your wise advice. In other words, since I cannot be an arbcom candidate as an anon-editor (see rules), and since you are afraid of felines, I suggest we come up with some names to trick into doing the dirty work for us urge politely that they run for arbcom. Who do you know that has a lot of edits, and a lot of time on their hands, who would make a GOOD arbcom-member? Here is a good place to start, skim through this list of names, WP:List_of_Wikipedians_by_number_of_edits, then tell me which wikipedians on the list you know and like. 75.108.94.227 (talk) 15:44, 6 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
How about Yngva?? Hehe. Hafspajen (talk) 15:51, 6 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Would be an excellent pick, but would probably end in a heart attack. Somebody more pugnacious, like a prizefighter. Strong-hearted, but also strong-headed. 75.108.94.227 (talk) 16:04, 6 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, well, how about Drmies? Hafspajen (talk) 17:45, 6 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe Xanthomelanoussprog? Has a cool head. Hafspajen (talk) 17:50, 6 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Disqualified by having few edits, no time on their hands, and an almost complete ignorance of Wiki-rules. Also my head's jammed in an icebox. Xanthomelanoussprog (talk) 18:33, 6 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Agree about drmies, but we will have to bushwack him, to get him to agree. Xanthomelanoussprog, is a wikipedian I've never met, but Hafs's say-so is a strong recommendation. But okay, since editcountitis was brought up, let us try this. Skim through here, and pick out the names you trust. (Hafs o'course... but also you too User:Xanthomelanoussprog, since you refuse to do the dirty job yerself  :-)     Here are the people that have 50k edits, are currently admins, never ran for arbcom before, and have been active in the past month:

Some of these names I recognize, and some you probably do as well. Let's pick some, and see if they can be urged to run. p.s. Have you seen the movie referent? 75.108.94.227 (talk) 22:40, 6 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

WAHAAA; Rosy, Rosy. Hafspajen (talk) 13:54, 7 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Dennis Brown? Rosiestep? Bbb23? I've not heard of 90% on the list. Xanthomelanoussprog (talk) 14:05, 7 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Two of the three names you picked, I also have interacted with, and agree they would be good picks. (Plus I like the looks of Rosiestep, from scanning their recent contribs and their talkpage-interactions.) I also like Hafs's suggestion of Drmies, who I've interacted with, but will mightily resist I believe. Thus, I suggest we three, give those four, some peer pressure on usertalk, to see if they can be urged to run. Or failing that, to see if they can be urged to skim through this list, and pick some other likely potential candidate for arbcom. Arbcom elections demand a self-nom, so we have to be persuasive in our arguments.  :-)     I will make some posts, and ask hafs to decorate them for me. 75.108.94.227 (talk) 21:08, 7 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hafspajen , I mean Mandy , if you druthers -- will you please tastefully (no cats! :-)   decorate the following:

User:Drmies is ignoring us with dignity, but will not be able to do so forever, because Hafspajen and myself can be very insistent wikipedians. I have also brought User:Bbb23 into the mess, who was nom'd for admin by Drmies and Dennis, and thus p'raps they'll try to pass the buck thataway once more? There are three candidates running at present, see WP:ACE2015/C.

A Meat Stall with the Holy Family Giving Alms

Hi Hafspajen: Per our discussion on my talk page, I have nominated A Meat Stall with the Holy Family Giving Alms for FP consideration. The discussion is located here. Feel free to add yourself as a co-nominator if you'd like. Cheers, North America1000 16:50, 11 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

GOSH; uh. Well, Northamerica1000 - I suggest that you and Crisco 1492 (who uploaded the picture) write an article together, and then try to co-nom with HIM. That will surely do. In worst case I will help you guys to write that article, either way, you should co-nom with him, he is the one who uploaded of the pic... It's kinda his. meow woof (translation into Australian English, upper left Perth dialect: "Jeez, I leave for a day and there's a cat stuffed in the computer")

This sentence is not a caption
Neither is this one.

Okay, pay attention agent nejapsfaH. I will use your secret codename so nobody knows it is you. So, now we have some arby's people that wanna wield the sword of truth and balance the scales of justice. Or something.

But nobody can vote yet. People are still asking them questions. Other people are writing voter-guides. See these:

Raw heatmap data, four candidates excluded, question-phraseology somewhat questionable.

Also there will be now is a signpost article (two articles kind of) which comes out on Friday 20th or Saturday 21st or something like that.

Lastly, arb-voters will start have started casting their ballots on November 23rd , voting is open for a couple weeks, until December 6th.

  • Special:SecurePoll , must be logged in , not currently blocked , have 150+ edits to mainspace , and created your username before November 2015

Between now and then, lots of discussion about the candidates on their question-pages. You already asked one, I am writing up mine. Delightfully yours, 75.108.94.227 (talk) 04:04, 19 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Update again: I added the cat to my NO-GUIDE, now that I am back to decent, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:40, 1 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Gerda, you have been added to the categorized voter-guides. Do you also want to be added to the advertised voter-guides at {{ACE2015}} as well? Do you also-also want to be added to the WP:Wikipedia_Signpost/2015-11-25/Arbitration_report comparison-chart in the WP:SIGNPOST right now? My interpretation of your voterguide would look ROUGHLY something like this, which you are free to tweak of course:
guide Cal. Cas. Drm. Gam. Gor. Haw. Hul. Kei. Kel. Kev. Kir. Kud. Lfa. Mah. Mar. NEE. Opa. Ric. Thr. Tim. Wil.
Ger.[a][4] No~ Yes+ Yes+ No No Yes No~ mu Yes+ No No~ No~ No~ Yes~ y~ mu Yes+ Yes No y+ Yes~
  1. ^ This is an exceedingly rough translation of Gerda's thinking, which necessarily involves a lot of guesswork and reading between the lines; she gives no explicit support-column, and no explicit oppose-column either. Those marked as Green tickY++ were ones where she boldfaced their answers as being supported, the others are mostly spectrum-guesstimates, which are then re-calibrated to vaguely match the available slots.

Gerda, let me know if you want to be "advertised" (which does not require a colorized chart), or even advertised-and-also-in-the-signpost. Best, 75.108.94.227 (talk) 14:15, 1 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Smiling at your interpretation ;) - Don't advertise votes, but if you can advertise the thoughts, fine. How awful!" - Anyway, there was an interesting close, reopen, and then the wiki broke ;) - I have a banner on my user page for the secret slogan of Opabinia regalis: "Readers come first." --Gerda Arendt (talk) 18:09, 1 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Nah, this is not hard. You can see how easy it is, I just copied the links from here, {{ACE2015}}. Plus added one other, that I saw via User:Rschen7754 usertalk. And missed one, adding it above.... If you wanna write one, you can. User:Hafspajen/ACE2015, it's not hard, just pick somebody else's and then make your own list of reasons to support and reasons to thump. No cat-lovers on arbcom. For sure. I'm maybe gonna write one, if you just wanna decorate something, and not "work". And will be asking some other people to write their own voterguides, respectable types like User:Dennis Brown, not canine-crazy artistaz like you dear Haffy. I mean, dear Mandy. I'm not sure if User:Drmies can write his own voterguide, to support himself!  :-)   Seems like self-dealing, vvurry nnotty!!  ;-)     So it is up to us rabble. Because it is templates all the way down, don't you know? 75.108.94.227 (talk) 14:18, 19 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
ANd I will get NOT AN ADMIN CROSS CROSS CROSS- eh? Hafspajen (talk) 14:24, 19 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
You are not thinking hard enough, little rabbit. You are worried, that if you *do* write your voter-guide, you will be blocked? Making adminz angry! That is the least of your troubles.
But think about this! What will happen to poor agent nejapsfaH, if you do *not* write your voter-guide? Remember User:Drmies already knows where *your* little talkpage is! Eeeeek.  :-)   You got him into this mess,[5] he might be vengeful with his block button, and go completely rogue. Look here,[6] he already blocked poor innocent little User:Timtrent for interference. He seeketh the ultimate dirty mop, now! :-)     75.108.94.227 (talk) 15:17, 19 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Don't forget Iridescent's easy guide: vote for Cas and Opinia, oppose the others. Not my strategy though, would leave too much influence for those we have already, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:23, 20 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Pronk?
Added, thanks. But Gerda, you are mis-interpreting what Iridescent was saying -- specifically this bit ...

...there are a few weak "make up the numbers" supports...

That implies Iridescent is fully behind Casliber and Opabinia, and for *this election* at least, is also mostly behind Drmies, Keilana, and Timtrent. Which is only five of the nine open seats, so there is also a list of Weak Opposes, seven other folks that are the "lesser of two weevils [with the implication they are competing for a singly hypothetical open seat]" as is often said[citation needed] in the USA and the UK, where first past the post voting system is commonly employed. Arbcom elections use a kind of approval voting, so the phrase is not exactly applicable in a parallel fashion... something more like "lesser of seventeen weevils competing for the remaining four open seats". As I read her recommendation, Iridescent is giving StrongSupport for two people, WeakSupport for three more people, and WeakOpposeButBetterThanTheAlteratives to an additional four-to-seven candidates. Pinging Iridescent, in case they with to set our conflicting reading of the tea-leaves straight. 75.108.94.227 (talk) 11:37, 21 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
More accurate to say the first category is "definitely support", the second is "I can see serious problems and ordinarily wouldn't support, but will probably be better than an empty chair", the third is "will oppose but could be persuaded" and the fourth is "hell, no". There's absolutely no need to feel one needs to support nine people just because there are nine slots; there are advantages to broader representation, but also disadvantages. (Ever tried to participate in a fifteen-way conversation by email? It isn't pleasant.) It won't be a disaster by any means if only two, one or even no candidates reach the 50% mark, particularly in a year like this which IMO has the worst group of candidates since the days of Jimbo unilaterally appointing his drinking buddies; Arbcom could function perfectly well with three members, let alone ten. ‑ iridescent 11:53, 21 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Okay thanks, that helps clarify. I think that the pool *is* reasonably strong this year, though I do think that plenty of people who should have run, and were arm-twisted to do so, could have made it even stronger. *cough*ahem*hack*hrrmm, pardon me, just clearing my throat.
Perhaps the evidence of 664 emails per day may have scared off some of the potentials; most common reason I heard for not running was "no time". Second most common was "not wanting to be trolled/doxxed/etc" which is probably more crucial of a flaw, but also a very tough problem to truly solve. I think part of the reason to have such a large committee, besides the need to have a reserve-group for when people retire midway through their arb-terms, is so that tasks can be divvied up ('many hands make light work')... but of course, arbcom is horrid at divvying things up (see the recent elimination of WP:BASC), so instead tasks get over-analyzed and too-much-conversation-not-enough-action ('too many cooks in the kitchen').
off-topic proposal to solve the woes of 15-person-discussions , by pre-emptively divvying up the case-load via PRNG rules
I would strongly support having each arb-case assigned to five randomly-selected arbs from the pool of 15, with the next arbcase assigned to five *other* randomly-selected arbs from the remaining pool of ten. The third arb-case would then be assigned to five randomly-selected arbs from the ten not assigned to the 2nd arb-case. The fourth arb-case would be assigned to five randomly-selected arbs from the ten not assigned to the 3rd arbcase, and so on. There would have to be a mechanism for the parties to appeal to the full arbcom... but rather than re-litigate the entire arb-case, it would be better just to have sanctions be appealed to the full arbs (as they already currently handle appeals thataway, post-BASC, this would involve no changes in the appeals-process, just in the case-acceptance and drafting-process). To keep things sane, I think a 2yea-2nay-1abstain deadlock would have to be defined as 'no consensus' for this proposal to work in practice, which would mean 3-of-5-agreement was needed for implementing any sanction or accepting any case. 60% sounds like about the right target. Also, if an arb was picked as a member of the five for any given case, but recused, another arb would need to be randomly selected, so that each open request had five *active* arbs working on it, and the 3-of-5-to-act math would work out properly.
Be that as it may, I think your top-five are exceedingly likely to become arbs, including the first non-admin arb, from reading the voter-guide tea leaves. Inertia, and tactical voting, probably means that the other four seats also will be filled, though I'm detecting the whiff of an extremely strong antidisestablishmentarian sentiment in the wiki-air this time around. 75.108.94.227 (talk) 15:04, 21 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
See my comments here for my thoughts on both how to address the over-large and over-worked committee issue, and on predictions. Basically, attempting to call this election is a fool's errand, as the talkpage-spamming of 100,000 users to vote means all bets are off. The 'electorate' in most Wiki processes consists of those with an interest and knowledge of the topic, whereas this one is going to be decided by an electorate of whom many aren't even aware Arbcom exists, and most have little idea what it actually does; consequently, the winners are likely to be the candidates who can spout the most convincing sounding platitudes, rather than those who are best suited to the job. ‑ iridescent 00:14, 22 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hafs (or talkpage stalkers), Commons:Category:Paintings by Joseph Mallord William Turner is so subdivided I can't be sure, but I don't think we have Turner's Pope's Villa at Twickenham. I see umpty-bazillion versions at Google images. If we don't have it, could you please find a good one and upload it so I can stick it in Pope's villa? Thanks. Stalkpage talker here… I had a look, and the only image of the painting on the web is an engraving after Turner (and not a very good one) (on a blacklisted site). I'm guessing that the original was a watercolour and is lost, like his one of Leicester Abbey. Xanthomelanoussprog (talk) 15:33, 23 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Do you want to start pet breeding, so we can show the naughty cat-lovers who is boss, on this here 'pedia?  :-)     Or maybe there is already an article about it, with a different name? I did not find one, though. 75.108.94.227 (talk) 13:35, 25 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
