    Shortcuts

    Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in two cases. The first case is restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions (G6) or stale Articles for creation drafts (G13)), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. In the second use case, this page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be "userfied", i.e., restored as a draft or emailed to you; this way, the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here).

    This means that content deleted after discussion – through deletion processes – may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process but through deletion review instead. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided.

    Do not request that pages deleted under speedy deletion criteria F7, F9, F11, U5, A7, A9, A11, G3, G4, G10, G11 or G12 be undeleted here.

    Expanding would not have helped when the concern was notability. The PROD concern was: Not satisfying WP:ENTERTAINER which notes actors must have a significant number of major significant works, and not trivial background characters but examining his filmography shows only temporary or limited-time characters in a larger pool of other works as "Sergeant", "Guard", etc. and, as all notability standards list, there's no inherited notability from others.     Rosbalt

    This is a Russian news agency. There was an uncontested PROD in 2010 ("Promotional article about a news agency with little evidence of notability.") While updating a citation in 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine ([2]) I found that the article I would have linked to did not exist, and when I tried to create it, that it had previously been deleted. The agency is more relevant now than it may have been in 2010 and there are subsequent events with associated reliable sources which can be included in the article. Please restore it in case there is relevant content in the previous version (I have no idea) and so we can retain a complete revision history. If creating the article from scratch (which I can of course do if you prefer) I would start with a translation of ru:Росбалт and then add further content supported by reliable sources.     Saffron Barker

    Article has been replaced with a redirect to The Celebrity Circle as Saffron Barker was not considered individually notable as per Wikipedia notability guidelines, despite her popularity on social media and appearances in multiple mainstream broadcast media. I suspect that this was due to insufficient referencing in the original article and bias of various contributors. I would like to suggest that the article may need tidying and updating, but should be undeleted. For reference, every other contestant on both Barker’s series of Strictly Come Dancing (series 17) and The Celebrity Circle have dedicated pages.     Notable baseball team, plenty of coverage to satisfy GNG including [3], [4], [5], etc. I suspect PRODer may have only been looking at current name and not prior name Asheboro Copperheads which has a significant amount of coverage over the years (that page was a redirect and should also be restored as such.) Additionally, while coverage of sports matches is WP:ROUTINE in regards to the notability of the individual games, regular coverage of a team's matches in independent sources does indicate notability of the team. Ordinarily, I'd consider this request but the title has been salted and protected so that only administrators can recreate the page which makes its restoration about as controversial as you can get. Not to give you the run around but I think you'd first need to talk to the admin who protected the page to see if they would consider a lower level of protection. Then there is the matter of restoring a page that was deleted in an AFD which is also complicated.     As content creator, I object to the decision to delete the wikipedia entry ‘Bernard Parham’. I am afraid Crisco 1492, et al. have missed the point regarding Bernard Parham’s notability. Nobody claimed that the sequence of moves 1.e4 e5 2.Qh5 had never been played before. Given enough time, a monkey typing at a keyboard, would reproduce the complete works of Shakespeare. The point is that Bernard Parham took an obscure, discredited opening and played it during his entire chess career against Master level opposition, with success.

    Parham’s maximum USCF rating was over 2300, which is International Master level, and he did this by playing the Parham Attack exclusively as White. Parham was also awarded the National Master title in 2002 by USCF. By the way, nobody in the world calls this opening the Danvers Opening. It is referred to, in over two hundred counties, as the Parham Attack. Deleting the entry ‘Bernard Parham’ would be a travesty, sham and a mockery. As content creator, it is my considered judgment that this entry is well referenced, and marking it as draft is also a mistake. This article should be restored as a wikipedia entry in its original format. Moreover, the Wikipedia entry ‘Danvers Opening’ should be renamed/redirected to the new entry ‘Parham Attack’.

    I think i possibly created or developed the article about a wikipedia-notable topic, a place in Kentucky listed on the U.S. NRHP. It may have contained a quote from the NRHP nomination form, which is allowed. There has sometimes been misunderstanding among some NRHP editors about usage of quotes, while quite long quotes are indeed allowed in Wikipedia and are used in many Featured Articles. Quoting from an NRHP nomination document is especially appropriate in explaining why a place was listed on the NRHP. I see that the article was deleted in 2019 with an assertion that it was a copyright violation (the edit summary is "23:37, 20 August 2019 Nyttend talk contribs deleted page C.B. Caudill Store (G12: Unambiguous copyright infringement: Pretty much entirely a copy/paste of the nomination form)"). I believe I will disagree with that assessment.
