Information icon Hello, I'm Geniac. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living person on Rakul Preet Singh, but that you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Geniac (talk) 01:45, 21 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Content requires sources

Please stop adding model heights without providing a citation to a reliably published source that verifies the claim. It is particularly important to source claims about living people. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 13:14, 22 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Swati Kain, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Trainer (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time.
Please read the comments left by the reviewer on your submission. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

The article Zabina Abdul Rashid Khan has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hello, Sky Groove. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Miss Progress India, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Rob (talk) 07:57, 3 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Repost of Swati Kain

Information icon A tag has been placed on Swati Kain requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's discussion directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of recreating the page. Thank you. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 12:15, 20 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Miss Young India requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organized event (tour, function, meeting, party, etc.), but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Flat Out let's discuss it 06:36, 25 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Elite Model Look India

The article Elite Model Look India has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

minor contents; no significiance

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Femina Miss India 2014

As I said on the article's talk page, I've removed irrelevant trivia for which no third-party sources exist. Since at least some of those trivia concern living persons, arguably the rather strict policy on biographies of living persons applies. While I'd welcome a beauty pageant expert to take a look at that article and improve it, re-adding those trivia, such as the order of announcements or the heights of the contestants, will not aid our readers' understanding of that particular pageant. If you think some of that content should be added to the article, please explain your rationale at the article's talk page. Huon (talk) 08:59, 13 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Miss Diva is not "your" article. WP:G7 only applies when the editor created the article is the only significant contributor. There are to many other contributors to delete this article that way. You can list it using either the WP:Prod or WP:AFD process. -- GB fan 10:36, 23 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The reason you gave this time to delete the article is a reason to edit the article, not delete it. If you don't have the time or ability to fix the article don't worry about it. Someone will eventually come by and fix the article. As I said earlier, if you feel the article should be deleted you really have two options, WP:PROD or WP:AFD. Please click the links and see how to use those processes. -- GB fan 11:27, 23 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I apologize, I gave you bad advice. I missed that the article had been nominated at WP:AFD before. That act invalidates the use of WP:Prod. Your only option to would be to nominate it using WP:AFD. Some advice though, the reason you gave is not a reason to delete the article, it is a reason to edit the article and fix it. -- GB fan 11:58, 23 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I completed your AFD nomination for this article before I saw this note. It is not your article, and there is no deadline - if you cannot get to it right away, other editors may. Deleting it would mean that they can't - or that they have to start a new article, from scratch, which isn't worthwhile when we already have the beginnings of one now. Regardless, per your request, there is a deletion debate at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Miss Diva (2nd nomination). Please go there and explain why the article should be deleted. If you don't post a rationale within a day or so, the debate will be closed on a procedural basis, at my request. Best, UltraExactZZ Said ~ Did 13:56, 23 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The article should be deleted because the neutrality of the article has been disputed and it has now become impossible to restore it moreover the article cite so many issues. Since past 1 year I have beem trying my best to make it issue free and neutral article but all the efforts went vain. Other users have also tried to improve the article to make it more reliable and encyclopedic but all their efforts also went vain for proof you can see the edit history. So its better that someone with better wikipedia knowledge and experience creates a new one from scratch for betterment of the users who are interested in the field of beauty pageants. At last its my humble request to delete this article as soon as possible for the betterment of the people who cannot get complete info.about the topic regarding this field from this article as the main/crucial info. Is missing from the page some other users have also tried to complete it but no effect was seen. Since past 1 year the article is at the sane stage where it was 1 year ago. So I would want to have it deleted for the sake of people who would not get any proper info. From it and let a more knowledgable and experienced user recreate it. Regards. Request reason:

it is my humble request to the admin that please unblock me. I was blocked because of sock puppetry, something I had no idea about until I got blocked. I only contribute in the fields of modelling and pageantry. I created multiple accounts because I wanted to create articles of some specific model or pageant winner from one account and others from.a different one. I did it for my convienence. But eventually I lodt the yrack and it all became hodge podge. But as you can see most of my wiki creations have been accepted. And I dont provide any false info. Or create any false article. I just write the facts that have a reference to support it. I do it as a leisure activity. So please unblock me I promise I will not commit this mistake again. Sock puppetry was something I did unknowingly. Now really want to come back on wiki. I create articles on significant subjest related to.pageantry and modelling. Please please unblock me.
