    Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions or rejected Articles for creation drafts), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. This page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be userfied, restored as a draft or emailed to you so the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here). This means that content deleted after discussion—at articles for deletion, categories for discussion, or miscellany for deletion among other deletion processes—may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided at all.

    This page is only for requesting undeletion of articles or files which have already been deleted. If the article you are concerned about is still visible, but has a warning message (template) at the top, please do not post here, but follow the instructions in the template or on your talk page. Please do not request that articles deleted under speedy deletion criteria A7, G4, G5, G11 or G12 be undeleted here.

    Note that requests for undeletion are not a replacement for deletion review. If you feel an administrator has erred in closing a deletion discussion or in applying a speedy deletion criterion, please contact them directly. If you discuss but are unable to resolve the issue on their talk page, it should be raised at Wikipedia:Deletion review, rather than here.

    This is a note from the requester. Sorry I had that in my sandbox because the page I created was deleted and I was hoping to make it better and resubmit at some point. Now I don't know where to even get a copy of the info to save it for that purpose.     I created this page earlier in the year to create an article on the Ivana Trump romance novel For Love Alone, and I requested for it to be deleted as I was uncertain if I would pursue it as a serious project. I was wondering if it could restored so that I could access all of the sources that I had collected (and formatted)? I understand if it is not possible though.     Balkrishna

    This article was deleted here (quite ill-advisedly even after an admin recommended a keep). Then the article was recreated with some of the same content a few months later (at Acharya Balkrishna, previously a redirect). But all the history has now been lost. I would like the original page refunded so that the history and many legitimate contributions (including mine) are not lost and can perhaps be reincorporated.     this was originally a userspace draft and moved by another editor (not at my request or related to any discussion) to the draft space, then later tagged with AfC template (also by an unrelated editor) and rejected (because it was substantially incomplete). See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:AHeneen/Archive_2#March_2017 and my sandbox at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:AHeneen/sandbox which has a few more userspace drafts. I haven't been active on WP creating content the last 12-18 months (mostly just checking my watchlist or making corrections to WP articles I encounter while web browsing), but that will hopefully change soon.     The topic of the article, I have the impression, was an important part of the childhood of a generation of Chinese people. I have been told that most Chinese children watched the show during the school holidays. Once when I mentioned the show to Chinese people whom I had met that day, they began to sing together the theme tune. As a final illustration, I once heard a Chinese friend ask their countryman (facetiously, of course), upon hearing that their countryman had not watched the show as a child, whether their countryman was truly Chinese.     @DBigXray: I restored the history of the user page. You can look in the history for the stuff you want. It isn't easy to restore revisions to another page name, they get restored to their original page, and then I'd have to figure out how to perform a partial move. Not worth the trouble.     • @Abyssal: I restored all these prehistoric life submissions for you in April the last time you asked. None of them had any edits made to them since and none has any content beyond a skeleton lead and section headers which relate to Alabama rather than the place the draft is for.       @Abyssal: It is abundantly clear that you have not been working on them. There is no evidence of you doing so. There has been zero effort put into them, they all start out "This list of the prehistoric life of Alabama..." and include an outline of empty sections. Because all these drafts are very short (~600 byte) outlines, I recommend you recreate them when you actually get around to having some material to flesh them out. ~Anachronist (talk) 06:16, 12 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

    Declined pending further information. This was undeleted over six months ago with a pledge that it would be worked on, but no edits were made to improve the entry for resubmission. Articles for creation is not an indefinite hosting service for material found to be unsuitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia's article mainspace. We may be willing to restore it again, but only if you provide a definite assurance that you actually intend to work on it and provide a short description of what you intend to do to improve it to meet our policies and guidelines.     • There have been some redirects in the deleted versions, but fundamentally there's no point in having it as a search term unless there's a realistic possibility that someone is doing to type this or something like it into the search box, and I don't think that's the case.
