Nagdaha is a census town under Barrackpore I (community development block) (Sub District) in Barrackpore subdivision (also spelled as Barrackpur) in North 24 Parganas district in the Indian state of West Bengal.
Demographics
As of 2011[update] India census, Nagdaha had a population of 8,192; of this, 4,167 are male, 4,025 female.[1] It has an average literacy rate of 76.7%, higher than the national average of 74.04%.
Healthcare
North 24 Parganas district has been identified as one of the areas where ground water is affected by arsenic contamination.[2]
