This project may also be referred to as the Christian music WikiProject.
Project Description
Some Wikipedians have formed a project to better organize information in articles related to Christian music. WikiProject Christian Music is a project, created to assemble editors interested in Christian music. The aim of this project is to standardize and improve articles related to Christian music and its sub-genres, as well as to create missing articles.

WikiProject Christian music is designed to improve:

  • Articles and lists about Christian music, Christian music artists, etc.
  • Biographies of Christian artists and groups.
  • The "standard" of Christian music articles.

This page and its subpages contain their suggestions; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians. If you would like to help, please see the to-do list or inquire on the talk page.

If you feel that you can make a positive contribution to the project, become a member by joining the list of members. If you don't know what to write or where to begin, or if you have doubts or ideas on how to improve an article, please address the project's discussion forum.

Goals
To see a complete list of WikiProject Christian music goals, click here.

Some goals for WikiProject Christian music are the following:

  1. To improve Wikipedia's coverage of Christian music, by improving articles related to the subject.
  2. Apply the template structure defined at proposed article structures page to relevant articles.
  3. Maintain and improve the Christan music portal.

You can suggest more goals at the talk page under the heading, "Goals".

Tasks
  1. Integrate {{Infobox Musical artist}} into pages on artists and groups.
  2. Integrate {{Infobox Album}} into all Christian music album pages.
  3. Add the {{Christianmusic}} project banner to the talk pages of all related articles within the project's scope.
  4. Add article assessments to articles listed in the Unassessed Christian music articles category.

You can suggest trivial or less important tasks that individuals can work on under the project's to-do list.

Structure
For the latest on the structure of an article about an artist, see the proposed article structures page or Wikipedia:Featured Music Project.
Templates & stub types
For the latest on the templates and stub categories, see the proposed article templates page.
Article adoption
Similar to the Collaboration of the week, but on a smaller scale, you might want to "adopt" an article. This would involve doing the research, writing, and picture-taking (if possible) for either a non-existent article or a stub. Of course, everyone else can still edit an adopted article, and you can work on other things too, but the idea is to find a focus for a while, to try and build up the number of quality articles the Project has produced.

To adopt an article, list it below. Notice this example: *'''[[Article Name]]''': [[User:Your Username]]
