Welcome to the Russian, Soviet and CIS military history task force. If you have any questions about articles or are generally seeking advice, you're encouraged to ask at the main military history talk page, or you can directly approach one of the task force participants below.

The coordinators of the Military history WikiProject can be contacted here.

Scope

This task force covers everything that can be legitimately considered to be Russian military history, as well as the military history of the Soviet Union and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) states after 1991. However, the military histories of the other pre-Soviet states are not included if they cannot be considered Russian; in particular, the Baltic states military history task force focuses on military affairs in the area of Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.

Any article related to this task force should be marked by adding Russian-task-force=yes to the {{WPMILHIST}} project banner at the top of its talk page (see the project banner instructions for more details on the exact syntax). This will automatically place it into Category:Russian, Soviet and CIS military history task force articles.

Participants
