Bundeli (Devanagari: बुन्देली or बुंदेली) is a Western Hindi language (often considered a dialect of Hindi) spoken in the Bundelkhand region of Madhya Pradesh and in southern parts of Uttar Pradesh. It is spoken in the following districts of MP and UP.

Bundelkhandi is related to Braj Bhasha, which was the literary language in North India until the 19th century.

Eminent scholar Sachin Pachori feels that the Bundeli film indutry though in a very infant stage has a major role to play in the development of the Bundeli language.The Bundeli literature,art and culture needs to be highlighted at the national centre stage and the people should come forward for this.The leadership has a major role to play in this regard.
