Dear Justice007, thank you for the kindness that you showed to me recently. I really appreciate your efforts to stand up for me and ensuring that the community realizes that my intention is to make Wikipedia a better place. It means a lot to me. Final !!!

Mr. Justice, Rather than giving the funny names to article section of Muhammad Iqbal you, kindly do some constructive work to develop the article. If you keep on reverting my constructive edits, You will leave no option for me rather than take your case to Wikipedia:RFC or WP:DRN, where you will be stopped from editing on particular or WP articles until you develop your skills, and the entire article of Muhammad Iqbal will be tagged with multiple remarks if the case reaches at Wikipedia:RFC or WP:DRN, and before reaching Wikipedia:RFC or WP:DRN, I supposed to warn you for the consequences of it, rest is upto you. Best wishes. --Omer123hussain (talk) 14:26, 28 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Do not involve in edit warring

You removed template

, from the article Muhammad Iqbal, with the edit summary of Copy edit, and main article mentioning as reference for further study is itself stub article unsourced ,not clear notability, and just newly created by Omer123hussain Please discuss on talk page for this [1] and next time you do any edit first discuss on talk page to avoid edit warring. :))--Omer123hussain (talk) 09:33, 6 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Do not apply blogs as a Source.

In your recent edits at Tarana-e-Milli, you had applied a blog as an source here, which will put the article in more trouble. Blogs cannot be applied as an source, (except in very rare exceptional cases). Please stop this !!!, Please read and understand WP:MOS before you make any edit. :) Cheers.--Omer123hussain (talk) 12:52, 7 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like to remind you not to attack other editors, as you did on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tarana-e-Milli. Hi. When you recently edited Nazia Iqbal, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sharjah (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Please will you explain why you have reverted my edits to this article. If you fail to do so and revert my next edit I will report you to administration. 81.106.127.14 (talk) 22:43, 1 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Because you added the content without providing reliable sources, and removal of anything needs sources too,and all changes should be first discussed on the talk page of the article, not on my talk page. Thanks. Justice007 (talk) 09:18, 2 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Well, The Oxford English Dictionary is the most authoritative dictionary of the English language. There simply is not a more reliable source in existence. Secondly, your claim that any change to an article must be discussed on the article's talk page is also untrue. This would be an extremely laborious protocol would it be wikipedia policy. Fortunately no such policy exists. 81.106.127.14 (talk) 17:25, 2 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I see from the discussion above that you did this with David's agreement, but people at the AfD will only see that you changed his comments and that doesn't look good. Edit warring

Hey, you are involving in edit warring, by reverting poets name here, Kindly clear your misunderstanding that this is a list of poets, but not the list of poets who have article on WP. Please self revert your edit, rather than involving in edit warring. lastly do maintain the adequate and mannerism in your edit summary. :)--Omer123hussain (talk) 23:24, 13 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • I think you need rest, on wikipedia, everthing should be according to wiki rules, and stop posting "Edit warring",that is not, you cannot add the red links, those do not have the notability.Justice007 (talk) 23:31, 13 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Omer you are mistaken. The talk page clearly prohibits red links, as well as the hidden comments in the list--which you had to have seen. Omer: if you want to add red links you must gain consensus on talk first. Justice: just because someone is ignoring consensus and you know they're ignoring consensus and I know they're ignoring consensus is not a justification for edit warring. Put a warning on their talk, post a message on WPIndia, or go to ANI to report disruptive editing. I'm not watching that article--but feel free to drop a note if there's any more trouble. – Lionel (talk) 02:09, 14 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

(Edit conflict):* This is not a first time, that kind of "Edit warring", I am receiving from him every time, which I am ignoring of his lack of the wiki-knowledge. Thank you for your notice of that disruptive behaviour.Justice007 (talk) 09:27, 14 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

@Justice stop hounding on editors, and I don't think but I believe that you need a complete rest forever :)
@Justice If it is redlink, remove the link, do not revert the work, And one more advice to you, do some research before blindly reverting any edit.
@ Lionelt, you are mistaken, Is it better to revert or to develop the contents? My intention was not to make it a redlink but to correct and restore that poet with reliable sources 1, 2, and before I could work it out, The reverting editor (Justice) jumped in between like an illiterate and without discussing or trying to know my cause, started edit warring, before I could complete the work.
@ Lionelt, I think you missed to read this text on article, according to which I wanted to apply sources, any way If you are talking about this consensus read it properly, the editors agreed for the redlinks if it is a notable poet based on this Wikipedia:REDLINK#When to create red links. :)--Omer123hussain (talk) 09:08, 14 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You reverted simple text, and You are arguing that you reverted REDLINK, (see your brilliant work once again, this one what you placed above), Really it proofs what you are ??? :)
Well if you want details see below :),
  • :: I ( Omer123hussain ) made a edit at 22:57, 13 July 2012.
  • :: and you ( Justice007) reverted that edit at 22:59, 13 July 2012.
  • :: Before I could apply reliable source, with in difference of 2 minutes of my edit you reverted it, is it not edit warring???
Please stop playing on WP, I am really fed up with your non-scene, false blaming and edit warring. and as I advices you above, Please please please do some research before blindly reverting any edit. It is not you but me who is ignoring your edit warring. But this is last time, next time If you blame it will be reported further.
* NOTE: Seen you edit once again what you reverted REDLINK or Simple text, okay I will link it for you here. :)--Omer123hussain (talk) 10:53, 14 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • You are realy confused, before reverting I wikified the name, that was red, and it is the name of author or poet but not text, red links or black links have not notability. I am very cool person, I am here to help everyone and improving and expanding the articles. Please think twice before writing or speaking your views.Thanks.Justice007 (talk) 13:46, 14 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
No one bothers if you are cool or what ever, just discuss according to WP policy, and please as I told you make it your last excuse. And if you do not understand any thing please feel free to discuss. Regards :) --Omer123hussain (talk) 21:08, 14 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Lymari Nadal, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ponce (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Was curious as to how/how often the wiki-class on articles is checked/changed. I was thinking that this article was getting close to a C-class, but it is still a Stub? --David Holmer (talk) 07:08, 17 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Justice, the major edit changes were made for the assessment from Stub class to Class-C. Please don't undo... at least discuss before changing it back, it's scheduled for assessment. Thanks. --David Holmer (talk) 10:23, 17 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

YOU DONT OWN IT EITHER... Gillaume was assessing it for C-class until you started undoing all the work of improvement!--David Holmer (talk) 10:45, 17 July 2012 (UTC) You are suppose to IMPROVE the article NOT maintain it at STUB-CLASS !!!--David Holmer (talk) 10:47, 17 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • * Adding multiple sections with redundant content do not make it klass-C, I do not think Gillaume will do that. I do not own it too, but you created the article, leave it to others if you cannot expand and improve it properly.Justice007 (talk) 10:54, 17 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • I have nearly 2000 pages to my watch list, especially Pakistan related articles, is it objectionable?. I undid your reverting because of illegitimate revertion, while there is reliable source available.I hope this helps. Justice007 (talk) 19:07, 4 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You have never edited said article with this account before, how does it come to be on your watchlist? Darkness Shines (talk) 19:09, 4 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Yes I never edited that, but well I watch every time all edits all of editors who contribute the Pakistan and India related articles, where I think, is appropriate to contribute, I do without any hesitation, assuming of course good faith.Justice007 (talk) 19:27, 4 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Bull, it is not possible to watch all edits by all editors in this topic area, especially as you have never been to this article before under this account. Given there has been a fair few edit wars on it since you joined Wikipedia it strikes me as strange you should suddenly turn up now. Please disclose any account you used previously with which you edited this article. Darkness Shines (talk) 19:45, 4 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Further, to say you saw this on RC rings hollow. Your contributions history shows no evidence of an active RC patrol, nor could you have seen that edit fully three quarters of an hour after I made it on RC, it would have dropped off the list. Darkness Shines (talk) 19:49, 4 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Don't be suspisious, I patrol all pages thoroughly that I have on my watch list,or I glance at. It is not necessary to go everywhere, but you must know every editor has right to be bold to edit everywhere, there are no any restrictions, regulations and limitations about, whether to do or not. If you have any concerns relating that, please go to file at proper notice board rather than wasting my time that I can use to improve and expand other articles.I have replied you in very clear way, if you don't believe me that is your matter not mine. I hope this is enough to help you. Thanks. Justice007 (talk) 22:24, 4 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for not even remotely responding to my questions. All you have managed with your prevarication is to ensure that you are in fact a sock or a rather unfortunate meatpuppet. Darkness Shines (talk) 23:45, 5 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Justice should this persist, take it up to ANI. You might not be aware, but calling established editors a sock is a personal attack and is blockable, esp for some one with the history like DS. You don't have to explain anything to another editor on how you get to another articles. Stalking is only brought into account when the two editors have a history of disputes or when you have a pattern of appearing at new articles one editor edits. --lTopGunl (talk) 17:41, 6 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

Hi User, you have reverted my work (rather than discussing it on the talk page) with some abusive and humiliating sort of edit summary.

Omer, I found nothing in WP:MOS to substantiate your position. However WP:IC says "Wikipedia does not have a '"one inline citation per sentence" or "one citation per paragraph"' rule." That said, it is always best to discuss issues on the talk page. And Justice, it's always better to talk about the edit, not the editor. Hope this helps! – Lionel (talk) 01:24, 5 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
@Lionelt; I clearly mention c/e (copy editing), any way what is the logic of repeating same single source 3 times in the two line sentence? and abusing/discriminating the editors through edit summaries, without discussing or bothering to discuss. Muhammad Iqbal Page

Dear Justice 007, Not sure why you revert my edit. Iqbal is known as the 'Poet of the East' only among the Urdu-Hindi speakers. Arabs, Farsi-speakers, Chinese, and other Eastern linguistic groups have no clue Iqbal is being hailed as the 'Poet of the East' by the Urdu speakers. Please provide references showing other linguistic groups calling Muhammad Iqbal the 'Poet of the East', if you really have such a belief. warm regards, Cemendtaur — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cemendtaur (talkcontribs) 14:26, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Malik Ram

Malik Ram's surname is Baveja and not Ram; Ram is part of his first name; he is to be addressed as Malik Ram. Kindly restore to Malik Ram from Ram. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Soni Ruchi (talkcontribs) 03:45, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • I know, and personally I have no problem what should be the name, our subject of area uses the names differently, but I change the name according to wiki rule WP:surname, about same problem I had once with an editor clashing arguments, because I had same idea that you have now. I am going to ask him for more clarity of the policy, may be we find some solution in this regard.Justice007 (talk) 18:00, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Malik Ram was always known as Malik Ram in the literary world, not Malik and not Ram. A lot of people in India have Ram as part of their given first name e.g. |Jagjivan Ram (called Jagjivan Ran and not Ram). In fact, even Malik Ram's mother always called him Malik Ram, according to a biography I have read and never Malik or Ram. Malik Ram is listed under M in official literary lists and library catalogues. No one has heard of him as Malik, the Urdu scholar or Ram, the Urdu writer. He is always called Malik Ram. I agree with Soni Ruchi.
In this interview he gave, the interviewers call him Malik Ram and, having read the WP guidelines regarding usage of names, Malik Ram appears to be appropriate.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vs9iWrPfzhI--Zananiri (talk) 19:14, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thanks for your efforts. I have had a look and don't agree. The WP guidelines say:
"People who are best known by a pseudonym should be subsequently referred to by their pseudonymous surnames, unless they do not include a recognizable surname in the pseudonym (i.e. Madonna, Snoop Dogg, The Edge), in which case the whole pseudonym is used."
Malik Ram is actually one name. Ram, as Soni Ruchi, who created the article, and I have pointed out, is not his surname. Malik Ram should be regarded as one pseudonymous name in this case, according to the guidelines. I consider the remark about the number of edits one has made facetious. Quality not quantity is what matters when editing. I don't think you yourself have to change names elsewhere if you change this!--Zananiri (talk) 21:21, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • I realy do not know any thing other than that, if you think Malik Ram is one name then go ahead and revert that, I will not object, but do not know about other editors what they think. Cheers.Justice007 (talk) 21:54, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thanks. Will do so some time next week, as I am away for a few days. Perhaps Soni Ruchi can do it, if she sees this. Also, do we still need the tag you added yesterday, as all the reflinks have been edited and refined since you posted it?--Zananiri (talk) 22:08, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for helping me out with Melis's page. I don't know how to add the citation for her paper. It was at HIBIT conference Izmır/Turkey 2011 and her publication's name was IDENTIFICATION OF TRANSCRIPTION FACTOR BINDING SITES IN PROMOTER DATABASES if you can add it that would be great. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kurgu Karga (talkcontribs) 08:34, 14 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings. The Mehr Lal Soni Zia Fatehabadi article has had that tag for a very long time. I think it should be removed now. Please have a look.--Zananiri (talk) 16:46, 18 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Justice007. I noticed you reverted my edit to Joseph Noiret, stating in your edit summary, "Of course BLP sources, it is bio article". However, according to Template:BLP sources, "In non-BLP articles that require additional sources, the {{refimprove}} template should be used instead." As Noiret is not living, shouldn't {{refimprove}} be used? HueSatLum 21:05, 18 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. In your recent article edits, you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Citation needed templates

Dear user:Justice007, I for one find it very helpful, in an article that has a template at the top indicating a lack of reliable sources, to see where other editors have recommended the references should be added. I'm sure this helps others aside from me. I often then try to find references to replace the templates. Of course, I also do so regardless of existing templates, but I do find it helpful if others have marked the path (so to speak). Anyway, these are just my thoughts. I hope you don't mind me adding them here. Keep up the great work. Best wishes, George Custer's Sabre (talk) 15:20, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The edit I made to the above article corrected grammar errors, not factual errors. You have just replaced the errors. Thank you. Denisarona (talk) 15:29, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

ANI

Hello. There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Wildthing61476 (talk) 12:22, 27 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yusuf Estes

Dear User:Justice007, I hope you are well. I feel powerless to prevent the vandalism occuring on the Yusuf Estes page. An editor -- User:Muslim Online -- repeatedly posts unreferenced and clearly partisan POV material that violates WP:BLP guidelines. I could continue to revert the edits to remove this content in accordance with the ruling that "contentious material about living persons (or recently deceased) that is unsourced or poorly sourced—whether the material is negative, positive, neutral, or just questionable—should be removed immediately and without waiting for discussion", but I am afraid that my own actions might be misconstrued as edit warring and that I could be accused of violating Wikipedia's three-revert rules.

Please see if you can help, or at least give me some useful advice.

Thanks you and best wishes, George Custer's Sabre (talk) 20:10, 31 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Shafiq-ur-Rehman (humorist)

Could you please make clear your justification for moving Shafiq-ur-Rehman (humorist) to Shafiq-ur-Rahman (humorist). Just saying it's wrong is not a sufficient reason, WP:RS are required. SamuelTheGhost (talk) 15:20, 1 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Well, SamuelTheGhost, as I am belonging to that part of the world, and I am also much familair to the Urdu, Arabic and Persian languages, and its grammar. "Rahman" is an Arabic word, it pronounces 'Rahman' but not 'Rehman'. Though mostly in India and Pakistan, it is commonly wrong pronouced, and translated into incorrect spelling. Academics do not make the mistake but having poor knowledge writers do that. When I come across that kind of translated wrong spelling, I make that correct, that's all, and for that there is no need of RS. Please take a look at these correct spelling articles of the same name: Ahfaz-ur-Rahman,Hamoodur Rahman, Tariq Rahman, Rahman Syed, Bushra Rahman, Rahman Baba. If you are native speaker of English, then I can imagine, and that makes me no surprise, but if you are from there, then I will suggest you please improve your knowledge of languages. I hope this helps. Cheers.Justice007 (talk) 16:17, 1 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
    • No I'm afraid it does not help. Editors in wikipedia are self-selected and anonymous except where they choose to identiy themselves. I have not published my qualifications, my native language, or any other languages I know. If I did publish them, other editors would still have no way of knowing whether I had told the truth about them. The only evidence acceptable under wikipedia policy is WP:RS, not personal knowedge. These considerations apply equally to me and to you. WP:RS is the only evidence we can take any notice of.
Of course I am aware that the scholarly transliteration of Arabic: الرحمن is ar-Rahman or, more carefully, ar-Raḥman, but wikipedia policy for names is to use the transliteration found in the sources, whether or not they are "correct". In the case of Shafiq-ur-Rehman, English-language sources are using the form ur-Rehman, and apparently no other, so wikipedia policy is quite clear that that is the form we should be using. SamuelTheGhost (talk) 18:26, 1 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • I do not agree with you, please indicate, that where RS allow the incorrect spelling, there is also a rule WP:common sense, I do not know that we should use or not, before I go futher to discuss this issue with you, first you provide the reliable sources to support your concerns, while the article's subject has no any reliable sources to even pass the notability, I do not see and find any one there. If you are so strict and fair to the policies, you must nominate the article for deletion because it falls under the criteria for proposed deletion.Justice007 (talk) 19:10, 1 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Well, on a quick search I found the following three, where the first at least must count as WP:RS
There are plenty more using that spelling to sell his books. SamuelTheGhost (talk) 20:59, 1 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • You even didn't bother to read the common sense, it is waste of time to search the skin of the hair. I have used my best judgment to correct the wrong translated spelling of the name, as I said you it is very common blunder in India and Pakistan, even in the media. There are many articles that need to be corrected , as I have done, Ahmed to correct Ahmad, for both wrong and correct spelling, there are reliable sources, on this point, we have to use common sense and our best judgment. What you have provided the sources, only one is reliable, and that can be use for the notability of the subject to save from deletion, other two are blogs, that are not reliable sources, I have also searched, but there are not much reliable sources, it is a great pity, that that notable and great humorist has no reliable sources?. As you provided, here are from me too, with correct spelling this and that. Again the main purpose is to the correct and best judgment that I have done.Hope this helps. Undeleting Nandini Sahu

I have been going through the discussion page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Nandini_Sahu) and it amuses me that the administrator Joe Decker assumes there can be only one Nandini Sahu. If someone made a wrong referencing to the TOI article, then it should not be treated as a judgment for deciding the authenticity of the page. The correct referencing to the TOI article is (http://epaper.timesofindia.com/Default/Scripting/ArticleWin.asp?From=Search&Key=TOIH/2011/01/24/32/Ar03201.xml&CollName=TOI_HYDERABAD_ARCHIVE_2009&DOCID=269529&Keyword=(%3Cmany%3E%3Cstem%3Enandini%3Cand%3E%3Cmany%3E%3Cstem%3Esahu)&skin=pastissues2&AppName=2&ViewMode=HTML). RE: Any problem

First of all, this is a stylistic issue and certainly not worth climbing the Reichstag to make my point. It's interesting that you provide Walt Whitman to make your point; that article (as best I can see from a quick look) provides either: more than one subheading per heading, or an introductory paragraph if there is only one subheading. I have no doubt that there are hundreds (I'm not sure about thousands) of articles with examples of poor style; after all, this is the encyclopedia that has no editorial oversight, that anyone can edit, and that relies on volunteers to watch over articles. It is entirely pointless to have one subheading under a heading; the heading alone is quite sufficient to help the reader navigate; subheadings allow the reader to move quickly past other information to get to the desired information; with only one subheading that is not necessary. But as I said, Wikipedia is full of articles with bad style, and I don't intend to argue or edit war over a matter when there are a lot worse problems to deal with. And BTW, as for "I don't know what you are": I have no idea what your point is with that rather bizarre comment, but it is beside the point; on Wikipedia we all have equal status; no editor has authority over content and stylistic issues that do not violate policy. Cresix (talk) 13:51, 11 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"But it seems to me that you have shown your authority and choice reverting me, is it not so?": No it is not so. Read WP:BRD. One does not have to be an admin or an "authority" to follow that tried and true guideline that is used thousands of time every day on Wikipedia by regular editors such as you and me. Do you honestly think that you are being singled out here? I don't know how long you've been editing Wikipedia, but let me suggest that you read WP:5P if you have not already done so.
"but be fair, access and assess that which style was/is better": Please assume good faith. I made the revert because I thought the style I was reverting to is better. But again, this is not a battle that I find worth fighting. There are many more important things to do, both on Wikipedia and in the real world. Cresix (talk) 15:30, 11 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Indentation

Hello. Just a quick note to suggest you be a little more careful with how you indent your talk page comments - I misread this level-one bullet point as being a level-one indentation and a reply to my comment, when I think you probably meant it as a level-three indentation and a reply to another editor. It's also normal to use colons rather than bullet points, per WP:TOPPOST. --McGeddon (talk) 11:14, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Be bold!

Re your comment at Talk:Dennis M. Lynch#Sources ... when acting as ordinary editors, administrators are just like any other editors, with no special privileges. If you see something that doesn't look right, be WP:BOLD and fix it. If it's questioned or reversed, it can always be discussed to gain consensus one way or the other from interested editors on the article talk page. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 17:32, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there I see you have also been cleaning up the Javed Malik article. I have made some additions in wiki mark up, and requested some sources to support some facts so that I could help with an email I received. I will advise this new contact to read the Wikipedia:Starting an article and Wikipedia:Writing better articles as they seem to be new to wikipedia. I will also put a request on the WikiProject Biography, WikiProject Pakistan, and WikiProject Journalism talk pages to see if anyone there also wishes to help out as I am not familiar with international biographies and content to know how promotional it is. I feel the majority of sources they provided are new articles and portray a NPOV, but as I say I don't know for sure. Thank you very much for helping SriMesh | talk

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Ayub Sabir, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Punjab University (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Reverting my cleanup of Abhay Kumar

If you are trying to clean up this page, you are not doing a very good job of it by reverting other editors efforts at cleaning up. I would like to know in what way my removal of He travelled to Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka during his Indian Foreign Service. He has also written a paper proposing a SAARC University at Nalanda. is "illegitimate". All probationers travel to the SAARC countries as part of their training so in what way is this significant? Similarly, the alleged fact that he has written a paper proposing a SAARC university at Nalanda would be notable only if such a university has come up,not otherwise. And, as I wrote in my edit summary, this piece of information has so far only been attributed to the subject and is not independently confirmed. Sesamevoila (talk) 19:42, 21 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Well my job is not very good, that is only your opinion. Why do you think the passage that you removed is not significant??. The source is reliable and third party, (By Ronisha Bhattacharyya (ANI)), is it not independent, then what is your description in this regard. I hope this helps.Justice007 (talk) 20:20, 21 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I was only trying to remind you that wiikipedia editing is a collaborative exercise and you cannot go around describing other edits as illegitimate. I have already explained why I think the passage I removed is not significant. You have not responded to the points I raised but are harping on the source. Sources are not an end in themselves and content should be added based on reliability and context. The article quoted is evidently based on an interview with the subject and there is nothing to suggest that the reporter has independently verified the claims made by the subject. Moreover, a startling claim like the one made in the passage should be quoted in more than one mainstream publication, going by Exceptional claims require exceptional sources. While you are at it, you could also take a look at Reliability in the context. I hope this helps. Sesamevoila (talk) 05:38, 22 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I just went back to the page and I appreciate your efforts at cleaning up but I still feel the above passage is irrelevant, and not sufficiently sourced.Sesamevoila (talk) 07:47, 22 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I have properly responded your raising points, I cannot understand your descriptions of the issue that you are taking serious unnecessarly. Though mentioned wiki rules by you are supporting the descriptions that I draw. To travel as a diplomate different states is not a big claim nor important issue, there is reliable source by third party, no matter as an interview or something else. It is written and published by Ronisha Bhattacharyya (ANI), and writer is telling the subject has been travelled etc, but not the subject. At the other hand if you do not consider it a third party source, then anyhow it is well primary source, that's why I have placed the BLP tag for additional sources for verification, that act exact meets the wiki policies and guidelines. I am moving that discussion on the talk page of Abhay Kumar, and that should be discussed there, not on my talk page.Justice007 (talk) 08:29, 22 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please give me your e mail address, so we can discuss this matter.

We would like to have the accurate information on this article, and need your help please.

I am not a professional. This is the first time i am sending a message on Wiki, I dont even know where and how to pick up my reply. But if you can please CC me on Sandraroberts21@gmail.com

Thank you

Your recent edit on the page Abhay Kumar

"He travelled to Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka during his Indian Foreign Service."- There is something missing in this sentence. As he is still part of the Indian Foreign Service and is posted in Kathmandu. Generally Indian Foreign Service Officers travel to the neighbouring countries during probation days for training.

It could be -

He travelled to Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka during his probation days in the Indian Foreign Service.

or

He travelled to Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka during his Indian Foreign Service probation days.

thanks for understanding!

I have tried to do my best. Justice007 (talk) 23:09, 22 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

That's much better. May be you can consider changing the following - He visited Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka at the time of his Indian Foreign Service.

into

He visited Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka at the time of his training period in the Indian Foreign Service.

Hope you get it. A sentence has to be complete to make meaning. Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kalhause (talkcontribs) 11:20, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Now it is fine. thanks.

Without going to the discussion earlier, I think the following sentence does not add much value to the article because there is already a SAARC University in Delhi and an International University is coming up in Nalanda. So the following line is not of much value and therefor may be removed along with the BLP tag. "He visited Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka at the time of his training in the Indian Foreign Service. He also wrote a paper proposing a SAARC University at Nalanda.[23]" (Kalhause) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kalhause (talkcontribs) 12:12, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Could you please now remove the BLP tag from the page Abhay Kumar as several additional citations have been added. Kalhause —Preceding undated comment added 17:57, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ruba'i Article

Dear Justice007,

In regards to a nasty comment you posted with your edits to the ruba'i article: Peter Avery and L. P. Elwell-Sutton were both eminent scholars in the field of Persian Literature who taught at Cambridge and Edinburgh, respectively, for many years. If you think they were both "silly person" who "do not know what is Ruba'i," then you are sadly misinformed. In the future, please refrain from disparaging work you clearly have not read.

Writer83175 (talk) 10:45, 24 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have to learn much more about Ruba'i, and do not try to teach me, what you refer the source 4 that support us( me and Spanglej), that "known as ruba'i (four line poem) dobaith (two-couplet-poem"). You, suppose as IP 75.24.202.15 did this. Which books or scholars say "rubaí contians only two lines"???, that's why I said silly, though I was not polite.Justice007 (talk) 11:28, 24 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of Dispute resolution discussion

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard regarding a content dispute in which you may have been involved. Content disputes can hold up article development, therefore we are requesting your participation to help find a resolution. The thread is "Ruba'i article". Please take a moment to review the simple guide and join the discussion. Thank you!

Guide for participants

If you wish to open a DR/N filing, click the "Request dispute resolution" button below this guide or go to Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard/request for an easy to follow, step by step request form.

What this noticeboard is:
  • It is an early step to resolve content disputes after talk page discussions have stalled. If it's something we can't help you with, or is too complex to resolve here, our volunteers will point you in the right direction.
What this noticeboard is not:
  • It is not a place to deal with the behavior of other editors. We deal with disputes about article content, not disputes about user conduct.
  • It is not a place to discuss disputes that are already under discussion at other dispute resolution forums.
  • It is not a substitute for the talk pages: the dispute must have been discussed extensively on a talk page (not just through edit summaries) before resorting to DRN.
  • It is not a court with judges or arbitrators that issue binding decisions: we focus on resolving disputes through consensus, compromise, and explanation of policy.
Things to remember:
  • Discussions should be civil, calm, concise, neutral, and objective. Comment only about the article's content, not the other editors. Participants who go off-topic or become uncivil may be asked to leave the discussion.
  • Let the other editors know about the discussion by posting {{subst:drn-notice}} on their user talk page.
  • Sign and date your posts with four tildes "~~~~".
  • If you ever need any help, ask one of our volunteers, who will help you as best as they can. You may also wish to read through the FAQ page located here and on the DR/N talkpage.

Why are your edits so bad. You give wikipedia a bad name.

It is quite obvious you are building a some sort of paper trail by editing wikipedia pages. With my bio page you have consistently edited without any knowledge about my life or about my work or about the domain of my work. Your English is poor and many times the edits you have made are derogatory, sexist, and damaging.

My last edit add a reference to a published biography on me. Nadja Argyropoulou (Author), Anastasia Aukeman (Author): 'Lydia Venieri: Theogony. Charta 2011. ISBN 978-8-88158-792-6

You removed it with the comment "Not original research please read". What are you talking about????

Do you know who Charta is or who the authors are ? It's quite obvious from the comments of other people that you are very ignorant in many areas.

What authority do you have? I've looked at the edits you have done on many other pages that you claim are yours. They are often trivial and pathetic, and often damaging and irrational. What are you doing? Do you think you have some power?

I'm someone who has a well known documented career, who is recognized by my country and other countries for my work and I don't see why I have to have you editing my bio on wikipedia. Remember wikipedia has now become an important reference and your edits could be damaging. Please keep off my bio page. If you don't I will have to consider legal advise. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Venieri (talkcontribs) 06:43, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Cardinal sources

Sorry, my friend, but "cardinal" is a routine adjective which can mean (with no religious meaning) "of the greatest importance; fundamental". Thus, my statement that Zaytuna College teaches from the cardinal sources of Islam -- the Qur'an and ahadith -- was eminently appropriate. Not to worry. I won't change your edit, which is fine too. Best wishes, George Custer's Sabre (talk) 03:40, 11 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Well dear, I know already meaning that you mentioned but here in the article, word "cardinal" creates the confusion, it depends not only one meaning, it is commonly related to religious meaning. There are many words with same meaning but where to use is different subject. I do realy neither want to go deep in this regard and nor thinking of your any bad faith. Please just take a look at these articles and sites. Cardinal (Catholicism), Cardinal (bird), The Cardinal

Shreya Ghoshal

I still don't see the problem here. The new source does support her birth date. The other source does support the "Day" honor. The comment about the picture is really old POV, and should be removed anyway. The added supporting text is better than just 'see also'... What else is there not to like? Mujeeb Zafar Anwar Hameedi

Hi Justice007. I didn't actually tag the article with those notices. It was done by User:TheRedPenOfDoom with this edit. I think those references probably count as reliable third party sources so I have removed the notability tag. The Wikify tag was replaced with Underlinked as the wikify tag is being replaced across Wikipedia as a whole. The underlinked means there should be more blue links in the article. I've also removed the BLP sources tag as the article has sources for most statements. Happy editing! Delsion23 (talk) 23:26, 12 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi dear, nice to see your comment, it was going good, but as a matter of my own principle, it is impossible to discuss with robots, because they don't have and are not able to use common sense. That's why now I am semi-retired. The articles I improved, are being spoiled, no one is interested to do constructive edits, there are too- much editors who devote their time to tagging the articles rather than improving those. Yes I am out of college but without a degree, because mentors are not having any qualification, so reliability is in question. Anyhow, I am sure you will achieve your goals as you desire. I realy miss you at wikipedia. I will be here just only to watch things off and on. God bless you too.Justice007 (talk) 14:52, 20 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Tony Vitti

Perhaps there has been some misunderstanding.

  • There are several places in France called Saint-Rémy.
  • The source for that sentence does not say which Saint-Rémy he was born in. Meanwhile the infobox says he was born in a different location; Lyon. I realise you are keen to hit the revert button to preserve your version of the article, but this version is bad, because a person cannot be born simultaneously in two different towns.
  • If we don't know what we're talking about, we shouldn't just say it anyway. This is supposed to be an encyclopædia, not a collection of text which looks kinda plausible.

bobrayner (talk) 18:45, 3 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

First, thanks for pointingout the error, I have corrected and second I knew When I wiki-linked the city, that was for me very difficult to decide to add proper name of the city, that's why I did not linked. The clarification needed template is for the phrase or sentence but not name of the persons or states or cities. Tony Vitti : end

Lol. Here my last word for this story. I just went to the page of "Koui2" and "Azurfrog", they were two "wikibros" looking for the end of the Vitti's page ! You can check their discussion after the deletion, they're just loling as two kids for their exploit. That's life. The thing you purposed me for undeletion is not allowed after a deletion, an admin told it to me. I won't fight, they are just submiting my other pages to deletion too : La Grande Battle (french wiki) etc... Don't have the time to bother me on a project like wikipedia if rules are respected this way. The Boss of wikipedia is always sending messages for asking money from users, that's probably why I'll never pay a f*cking cent to this mafia ruled by a few WoW players (exepted you as I can see, but you're not the majority).

Anyway, I thank you again for this thing, it took a lot, you wrote lines and lines when they were just giving some words, contradicting themselves etc... Anyway, wishing you a happy new year.

Hi, sorry for this and that, I'm the one who didn't count properly. --Koui² (talk) 11:04, 9 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Do not repost articles that have been deleted at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion; it is considered disruptive and can get your account blocked. I compared your repost against the previously deleted version and did not find any substantial differences, and so it was subject to being speedy deleted as a recreation of content that was deleted pursuant to a deletion discussion. The way to challenge this is at Deletion Review, where you would be expected to show that the AFD was closed incorrectly or improperly, or that there is new information that, in this case, would establish that the subject is notable according to Wikipedia guidelines. Thanks, postdlf (talk) 23:27, 9 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

In fairness, I believe (I haven't checked, but I'm basing this on previous discussions with Justice007) that at least one new source had been added. Justice007, I'm sorry that your article got deleted, especially when I know how much work you put into improving the previous version. However, I agree with the deletion - the level of disruption caused by Hameedi's "supporters" (probably just one guy in Karachi, judging by the IPs, but a very dedicated guy!) was substantial, and only died down after the article was removed (aside from one particularly abusive tirade that got copy-pasted to several talkpages before the IP was blocked). I'm not advocating this as a reason for deletion, but given the borderline notability, Wikipedia is better served by not having an article on Hameedi - less Hameedispam means we can get on with more productive tasks.
On an unrelated note, nice work on the Jaine Green article! Yunshui  23:47, 9 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! User "Ronald zh" keeps deleting my image gallery under 'Indian Coinage'. I explained the gallery was essential to understand the art motifs on coins. Moreover, certain University students in US and elsewhere are using the resource for their study/research purposes and found my image gallery very useful. -ditto- curators from numismatic museums of universities. How do I get him to stop deleting my images? Grateful for your suggestion/help. Rgds. Meluha66 (talk) 09:01, 14 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Firstly, the {{help me}} tag is usually only used on your talk page when you ask your question, and isn't needed when asking a specific editor a question as you appear to be doing here. Secondly in regard to your actual question, your best bet is to discuss it with the user directly, at their talk page, or on the article talk page, remember to assume good faith. If you need anymore help please re add the {{help me}} tag to your talk page. -- Patchy1 09:23, 14 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Leonard Oprea

Hi! I have been involved in editing the article that was replaced by Biruitorul and then wikified by you recently. I am quite unhappy with the present product because it is very incomplete and it also skips the beginning of his career (in the early 80s) and jumps to him being banned in 1987. In the talk of that article I inserted numerous references to the fact that he was notable before he was banned, but that's not the point. I am trying to use the present article and add relevant details, but these are being deleted. I could put the references directly where I insert a statement, but it seems to me irrelevant as if someone has an agenda in keeping this article as sub-standard. I have already given the relevant info in the talk in the last two weeks. I am not sure who is in charge and how to go about it, I saw your page and I believe that you actually are impartial and honest. Unfortunately I am not so sure about others who deal with this page.Could you please advise? Thank youSensei2004 (talk) 03:48, 27 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Sensei, it seems to me a kind of ownership, I made the best layout of the article, but some editors gaming the system and I believe here double standard exists. You can take the disput to Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard and discuss there to resolve or compromise the matter. Thanks.Justice007 (talk) 09:18, 27 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your comment. Of course, I also feel ownership on stuff I inserted and I don't want to see it deleted for no reason. The problem is that the article as it stands is missing many details and omits many books and as such it diminishes his extensive work and I brought much evidence for this and waited quietly for it to be inserted. It is someone life achievements at play and I happen to be familiar with his work. I also was careful not to break into User:Biruitorul's edit, but only inserted stuff around it to complement it. (Haven't finished of course). But at the moment it seems to me that User:MSJapan is the one who deleted my text, not User:Biruitorul. And I know that a few of the people who handle that page have an axe to grind against Oprea (for reasons unknown to me). I can see this from their reactions in the past. I also don't understand why the previous article was replaced with the new one just when I finished inserting the missing references to all the statements. But I was ready to accept the new edit, I just want to make it correct. Unfortunately I see that dispute resolution might be the only way.14:06, 27 January 2013 (UTC)Sensei2004 (talk) 14:09, 27 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Could you please advise if this should be taken to the regular DPN or to BLP dispute noticeboard?I have waited a few more days but nothing has happened. ThanksSensei2004 (talk) 20:57, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Just for an fyi I own The Complete Season Four DVD set of the show and can verify that the information I posted about the music video is correct as the jacket that comes with the DVD advertises the information and the feature can be found on Disc 2 of the DVD set. Amazon.com also supports there is a music video and that it is on both the DVD and Blu-ray. http://www.amazon.com/Big-Bang-Theory-Complete-Fourth/dp/B003L77G6A/ http://www.amazon.com/The-Big-Bang-Theory-Complete/dp/B003L77G6K/

  • In Special Feature section of Amazon.com it clearly reads: "The Barenaked Ladies on Big Bang Theory Featurette - Having created one of the greatest theme songs in recent history, the Barenaked Ladies bring it home when they come to the set of the Big Bang Theory to record a music video for the song. Featuring an interview with the band, behind the scenes footage of the filming of an episode, and clips from the new video itself, this piece carries with it all of the fun and energy you could expect from both the band and the show."

I have readded all this and corrected the information on the release date of this being released as a single with both iTunes and Amazon.com. 184.58.0.27 (talk) 03:37, 29 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Katrina Kaif

Hello! I suppose you are aware of two conflicting theories on Kaif's background, mentioned in the main article. Unless a source confirms self identificaiton by Katrina, adding contents from that src on her background is an evident violation of WP:BLP. That being the case, do you believe in keeping Ayesha Shroff's version when Kaif's self-id on her background is different? Can you explain this? Hari7478 (talk) 23:47, 18 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited John Hawkins (Columnist), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Hill (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

All articles require sources

re your edit summary and action here ALL articles require in line sources. see WP:V and WP:LIST and Wikipedia:BLP#Categories.2C_lists_and_navigation_templates.

A claim that all the content is sourced in the target landing articles is 1) irrel as our policies require the sourcing to be in the particular article where the claim is made, and also 2) patently false. there are dozens of the landing page articles that do not have appropriate reliable sources that identify the subject as being someone who meets the list criteria. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 15:50, 4 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hi RedPen I always thought that you are a experienced editor, but what you are mentioning here, it seems to me your experiernce is not justifying the concerns you are raising. Please consult dispute with someone else who knows better than you. In the list no any red link exists and no any content is to be cite, it is very ridiculous when you add the wiki-links in the articles, and then templating "citation needed", similarly the lists of the articles are wiki-links/articles, there is no need of any tags. What you have mentioned the rules, I do not see anything relating or supporting your personal likeness. I hope this helps, and please discuss the dispute on the talk page of the article, so that other editors can give thier opinion too.Thanks.Justice007 (talk) 17:11, 4 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
    • I agree with TheRedPenOfDoom; it's a very long list with lots of claims about poets (including claims about living people) but it has zero sources. That's a problem. Strictly speaking, even just grouping together poets by language (or ethnicity) is original research unless you can provide a source which groups them similarly. It would be unhelpful to axe every unsourced line in the list - then there would be nothing in the article - but I think that following our verifiability policy is the key to fixing the article's flaws and improving it further. bobrayner (talk) 15:03, 5 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Repost of Nandini Sahu

Information icon A tag has been placed on Nandini Sahu requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's discussion directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of recreating the page. Thank you. I just feel that "British India (now Pakistan)" is not quite accurate. Wikilinking

Hi, and thanks for your work on the English Wikipedia. Just a short note to point out that we don’t normally link:

  • dates
  • years
  • commonly known geographical terms (including well-known country-names), and
  • common terms you’d look up in a dictionary (unless significantly technical).

Thanks and my best wishes.

The article Celebrate Your Life has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NBOOK, sourced to a single review (or press release?) - Kenya Star and AniNews articles are identical.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
