Ching’s Secret is an Indian brand of Indian Chinese cuisine ingredients, sauces, condiments and ready-to-eat meals.[1][2] Ching's Secret is owned by Capital Foods.[1][3] Ching's Secret formerly produced several kinds of noodles, including instant noodles.[4][5]

Philanthropy

Ching's Secret runs India ke Hunger Ki Bajao, a fund raising drive which seeks donations for the Akshaya Patra Foundation's mid-day meal programme, which serves 1.4 million children across schools in India.[6] The campaign was launched on 26 May with a video featuring actor Ranveer Singh.[7]

Controversy

On 16 June 2015, a newspaper report claimed that Ching's Secret noodles had failed a quality test administered by government agencies. The agency had then initiated court proceedings against the company, "for selling products that were found with hazardous chemicals.[8] After the controversy, which also affected other manufacturers, Ching's Secret stopped selling noodles on 25 June 2015.[5]
