Timeline

On 19 March, the first two cases in the country were confirmed.Haitian super star Roody-roodboy was among the first 2 people to be affected by the coronavirus in Haiti. He was quickly isolated and the Haitian government took all the necessary steps to protect the nation.[2]

Prevention

On 16 March, at midnight local time, Haiti's Prime Minister, Joseph Jouthe, announced a two-week suspension of flights from Europe, Canada, the Dominican Republic and Latin America.[3]
