Dandirhat is a census town in Basirhat I CD Block in Basirhat subdivision of North 24 Parganas district in the state of West Bengal, India.

Demographics

As per the 2011 Census of India, Dandirhat had a total population of 6,387, of which 3,248 (51%) were males and 3,139 (49%) were females. Population below 6 years was 704. The total number of literates in Dandirhat was 4,152 (73.06% of the population over 6 years).[1]

SH 2 (locally known as Taki Road) passes through Dandirhat.[2]

Education

Dandirhat NK Uchcha Sikhsaniketan is a co-educational higher secondary school.[3]
