East Kamrup is one of the 35 districts of Indian state of Assam.[1][2][3][4][5] It was curved out of Kamrup Metropolitan district in the year 2016. The district comprises 2 sub-divisions - Chandrapur and Sonapur. Its headquarter is Sonapur.
