Nickelodeon premiered in November 1998 in Malta as a 12/7 feed. On Christmas Eve 1998, Nick came to Romania airing 24 hours a day in Romanian . Nickelodeon later also debutted in the Czech Republic on February 10, 2010. Originally, all 3 countries shared the Czech's website. In February Nickelodeon East Europe (which not only includes Romania and the Czech republic but also Malta) split up into two channels: the Nickloden being aired in Africa and CIS, and a new version which broadcasts in Malta, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania.
