supplement (1976). Eldritch Wizardry It appeared in first edition  Advanced Dungeons & Dragons in the original (1977). Monster Manual It appeared in second edition in  (1991), The Complete Psionics Handbook and reprinted in the  (1993). Monstrous Manual The thought eater appeared for the  Planescape setting in (1998). A Guide to the Ethereal Plane It appeared in third edition in the  , and its 3.5 revision the Psionics Handbook (2004). Expanded Psionics Handbook
