1896 United States presidential election in Ohio

The 1896 United States presidential election in Ohio was held on November 3, 1896. Ohio voters chose twenty-three electors to the Electoral College, who voted for president and vice president.

The Republican Party candidate, William McKinley, won the state of Ohio with 51.86 percent of the popular vote. The Democratic Party candidate, William Jennings Bryan, garnered 47.08 percent of the popular vote.^[1]
