I'm active in many areas of Wikipedia, depending on how I feel at the time; at present I'm usually to be found pottering around dealing with admin backlogs. I actually spend more time deleting than creating these days; if your article got tagged for deletion, I will probably be able to explain why, and maybe help you redraft it to comply with Wikipedia's requirements.

Though I have quite a lot of experience in other areas, my main activity recently has been patrolling new pages (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:NewPagesFeed). Most of what I do is speedy deletes, AfD's and Tagging. I thought it might be helpful to try to answer new editors questions and advise them before they create new articles, rather than speedy deleting them after they create them.

Hi, I'm Rutebega. I came here for a slightly more relaxing and gratifying role on Wikipedia, but I also happen to enjoy a nice cuppa now and again. I try to keep my contributions to Wikipedia varied, but I can often be found at ANI. If you want to know more about me, you can check out my user page.

It isn't very popular in technical circles to say a lot of mushy stuff about love, but frankly it's a very very important part of what holds our project together.

I enjoy helping new editors, and I am willing to pass on what I have learnt to others. Please feel free to email me with any questions.

I've been an editor since 2006, and am one of the 'pedia's least-active administrators. I edit eclectically but these days local history, historic buildings and science/medicine biographies are my usual haunts. I can help out with sourcing, establishing notability and deletion policies; I know the ropes at Did You Know and can help with building portals.

Abigail has been a lurker of Wikipedia from 2008 to 2011. She started replying to the Feedback Dashboard in late 2011; when she saw what Huggle was she requested Rollback rights so she can battle vandalism using it, and is still doing it today. She can be seen on Huggle and the Dashboard between school, life, and her Xbox. She wants to pursue a career in the Computer Science or Computer Security fields when she goes off to college.

I like to welcome new editors, review new articles and add enough resources so that the new article meets acceptable guidelines, I also like to create new articles, get involved with Afd (to argue good faith or perform another action that would salvage a potentially good article. I am really good at finding references for people who get stuck and have trouble finding sources to back up the articles that they have created. I have had the experience of being 'bitten' and want to make sure that it doesn't happen to those editors that are doing their best and acting in good faith.
