Qari Waheed Zafar Qasmi (Arabic: قاري وحيد ظفار قسم; born 1949) is a Qāri'[1] and an internationally famed naat khawan from Pakistan.[2][3][4] He can recite na`at in Urdu and Arabic.

Background

Qari Waheed Zafar Qasmi won competitions in Qur'an reciting for Pakistan in Malaysia in 1969 and in Libya in 1979. He joined Radio Pakistan in the 1970s. He also performed and served as a judge in Qirat and Naat competitions. He has trained many well-known artists in this field. His contribution in the field of Qiraat and Naat led him to win pride of performance award.
