Syana Tehsil (Hindi: सयाना तहसील) is one of the seven tehsils (sub-districts) in district of Bulandshahar.[2] Syana tehsil has 04 Census towns and 169 villages.[1][3] The name of the tehsil is also written as "Siana" or "Siyana". As per Delimitation order of 2008 by Election Commission of India, the name of the tehsil is "Syana".[4]

Census towns

Syana Tehsil comprises four census towns. The biggest census town is Siana Nagar Palika Parishad (population of 44,415) and smallest is Bhawan Bahadur Nagar Nagar Panchayat (population of 10,188). Following is the list of all the towns along with the population as per 2011 census.[1]

Baddha Bajidpur:- Its located west to Siyana, the road between siyana and baddha is surrounded by dense mango orchards,the land near siyana is one of the most fertile lands in india and suitable for sugarcane, wheat maze mango and other fruits, Siyana is also declared as fruitbelt by government, since it produce Mango, peach, guava, lichi, laukat, nash pati, jamun and many other fruits.Notable persons in Baddha Bajidpur are:- Smt. Shakuntala Devi(Ex Surpanch), Ch. Navneet Singh(District Judge), Dr. Nagendra Singh(C.M.O.) Etc.

Siyana city is dominated by tyagis and nearby villages and area is dominated by Jats.
