Marco Polo is a video messaging and video hosting service mobile app. The app has been among the most popular free apps in the world since 2016[1] and is so popular in Utah that 1 out of every 10 people in Utah use the app. [2]The app was created in 2014 by Joya Communications.[3]Joya Communications was founded by Vlada Bortnik and Michael Bortnik. The app markets itself as a video walkie talkie.[4]
