    Shortcuts

    Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions (G6) or rejected Articles for creation drafts (G13)), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. This page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be userfied, restored as a draft or emailed to you so the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here). This means that content deleted after discussion—at articles for deletion, categories for discussion, or miscellany for deletion among other deletion processes—may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided at all.

    This page is only for requesting undeletion of pages and files which have already been deleted. If the page you are concerned about is still visible, but has a warning message (template) at the top, please do not post here, but follow the instructions in the template or on your talk page. Please do not request that pages deleted under speedy deletion criteria A7, G4, G5, G11 or G12 be undeleted here.

If you feel an administrator has erred in closing a deletion discussion or in applying a speedy deletion criterion, please contact them directly.     Not done – this Requests for Undeletion process is only for articles that were deleted uncontroversially, and does not apply to articles deleted after a deletion discussion. Since the article you are here about was deleted after a discussion took place at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Agnel Roman, it cannot be undeleted through this process.     A claim could be made that the article was in a substantially different condition than when it was deleted, with the Times of India and the Bombay Times used as references. I took a glance at it, and decided not to remove the speedy tag because these sources were exactly the same verbatim, and appeared to be based on a press release. I figured another admin who came to the same conclusion I did would delete it. Anyway, I'd be willing to restore this to the Draft area, on strict condition that it go through the complete WP:AFC review process. @Annki777:, you've created more than 60 articles, yet only 22 of them have not been deleted. I'm not sure your grasp of our Notability guidelines indicate your should have extended confirmed status as it stands. I know it's badly backlogged, but I think using that process, instead of directly creating articles, would help you in the long run. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 18:07, 29 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

    • Not done The content was deleted in 2006. It was pure nonsense, and this must've been before we even had WP:CSD, or else I'm sure it would've been tagged with G1, G3, or at least A7.     The well-meaning person attempting to create this article did not remain with Wikipedia. My finding this published article made me think it is worth having a look at the earlier rough draft, to see if it can be salvaged (rather than start from scratch). FYI, I am a notoriously rigourous academic editor, and so if there is unsourced content there, it will come out. (I choose not to log for personal and security reasons. I am in no way related to or in relationship with this subject (no POV issues whatsoever.) I am assuming you have some connection with the company, and thus before I restore this, you should make the appropriate COI declaration on your user page. I should also warn you that based on what the article looked like at the time I deleted it, I think it extremely unlikely you will be able to write a viable article about the company, i.e. one that complies with WP:NCORP.     -Has been placed in rotation nationally by a major radio or music television network. -Has been a featured subject of a substantial broadcast segment across a national radio or TV network.

    & based on general notability; f a topic has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, it is presumed to be suitable for a stand-alone article or list. "Significant coverage" addresses the topic directly and in detail, so that no original research is needed to extract the content. Significant coverage is more than a trivial mention, but it does not need to be the main topic of the source material.

    & based on notability (people) People are presumed notable if they have received significant coverage in multiple published, secondary sources that are reliable, intellectually independent of each other, and independent of the subject. e person has received a well-known and significant award or honor, or has been nominated for such an award several times. The person has made a widely recognized contribution that is part of the enduring historical record in a specific field. Also based on Wikipedia: Proof, Wikipedia: Referrals and Wikipedia: Neutral Perspectives, this article introduces an artist who has just introduced her & is Impartial and all the statements are referenced to reliable sources (valid news agencies from several countries that is shown her internationally recognized) and can be verified, & also articles of Iranian artists similar her are all confirmed and featured on Wikipedia. & also based on Wikipedia: the removal policy, this article is not eligible for removal.
