Miss Universe Albania is a national beauty pageant that selects Albania's representative to the Miss Universe pageant.
History
Miss Universe Albania was established in 2006 in Tirana, Albania. The pageant formatted to choose a representative to compete at the Miss Universe by Fadil Berisha. Miss Universe Albania is unrelated to Miss Albania, Miss Shqipëria or Miss Shqiptarja. Between 2002 to 2006 the Miss Albania winners competed at the Miss Universe pageant. Began in 2007 the franchise of Miss Universe was given to Miss Universe head photographer, Fadil Berisha.
Editions
- After creating the Miss Universe Albania Organization. Miss Universe Albania editions in 2007 to 2011 had independently selected by Fadhil Berisha.
- On May 11, 2012 the first time Mister & Miss Albania 2012 were crowned at the same event. Miss World Albania organizer Vera Grabocka joined forces with photographer Fadil Berisha to produce a single event to choose the local representatives for the international competitions. The main winner was sent to Miss Universe 2012 in Las Vegas, USA.
- In 2013 Agnesa Vuthaj, a former Miss Albania herself, started the National Directorship of Miss Earth Albania and joined Miss Universe Albania contest. It was the first time Miss Earth joined Miss Universe Albania pageant. The second place was sent to Miss Earth 2012 in the Philippines. While Fioralba Dizdari withdrew from the Miss Universe 2013 pageant because the security of Albania's contestant could not be assured in Russia.
- On September 19, 2015 the 13th annual Miss Universe Albania contest crowned two titleholders, where the main winner will send to the Miss Universe and second place to the Miss World.

Notes
Winners
Anisa Kospiri was the first Albanian delegate at the Miss Universe pageant. She went to compete in San Juan, Puerto Rico and in the grand final she was the first girl to be called in the Top 10. She competed in both Swimsuit and Evening Gown competition and scored 8.51 and 8.34 respectively. However, her average score was not high enough for her to advance in the next phase of the competition. Until 2010 she held the record of the highest placing Albanian candidate in the Miss Universe pageant.
Withdrawal
On October 2013, Miss Universe Albania, Fioralba Dizdari withdrew from the Miss Universe 2013 pageant because the security of Albania's contestant could not be assured in Russia. But on October 8, 2014 Miss Universe Albania 2014 was back to Miss Universe with Zhaneta Byberi as the crowned beauty pageant titleholder.
