On 19 March, the first two cases in the country were confirmed.[3] On 5 April, the country confirmed its first victim of COVID-19.[4] · [5]
Prevention
On 16 March, at midnight local time, Haiti's Prime Minister, Joseph Jouthe, announced a two-week suspension of flights from Europe, Canada, the Dominican Republic, and Latin America.[6]
