Kalash - Ek Vishwaas[1] is an Indian soap opera that premiered on 23 March 2015 on Life OK. The show was produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under their banner Balaji Telefilms. The show stars Aparna Dixit and Krip Suri.[2][3] The show is named after Ekta Kapoor's Kalash that aired on Star Plus from 2001 to 2003. The show ended on 17 March 2017.[4] Reruns of the show also aired on Star Utsav under the title Devika...Ambe Maa Ki Ladli.

Plot

Devika Deol (Aparna Dixit) is a pure and gentle young woman who is also a great devotee of Ambe Maa. The story of the serial revolves about the Love story of Devika and Ravi Grewaal (Krip Suri) - The loverboy of Ambala. Despite all the misunderstandings that Devika keeps having on Ravi and all the unexpected events that occur, it is shown that only their love prevails. In spite of all the times Devika separated from Ravi, something always holds her. Devika and Ravi live in the same neighbourhood and though they live closely, this is not why and how they met. It was actually a bundle of odd events which brought them together and hence, they fell in love. Later on in her life, Devika's marriage is fixed with Saket Kapoor (Mahesh Shetty), an evil man and due to some circumstances, Ravi marries Devika against her wish to save her. Then, She faces a lot of problems in her married life which were mainly caused by her mother-in-law, Manju Grewaal (Alka Amin), sister-in-law, Shweta (Manni Boparai), who is also the sister of Saket, and Saket himself. Then, Ravi gets a job in the great and prestigious Luthra Company and the Company's boss, Nivedita Luthra (Parakh Maadan/Seema Mishra) falls in love with Ravi and tries to separate him and Devika who is also working there. It is then revealed that Manju wants property from Devika which worth 10 crores. Due to the numerous refusals of Devika to hand it over to the latter as it was her late mother's dream to build a school on that land, (which is the property) Manju is sour to Devika and together with Saket, Nivedita and Shweta, they attempt to kill Devika by pushing her off a cliff.

Several months later

Devika reappears by taking a new identity, Ambika Raichand by the posing as the daughter of Janki Raichand (Dolly Sohi), an influential and rich woman (much more powerful than Nivedita as Manju describes her being 10 times richer than Nivedita) who saved her after falling from that cliff. After these months, Devika notices that Ravi is now engaged with Nivedita and his family is living in her house. The now changed and resolved Devika has come to take revenge on those who destroyed her life including Ravi due to a misunderstanding that she developed since she fell from that cliff but, she then realizes that Ravi is innocent and after settling her scores, Devika starts her new life with Ravi and the show ends with this.
