    This page is NOT for challenging the outcome of deletion discussions or to address the pending deletion of any page.

    Shortcuts

    Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in two cases. The first case is restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions (G6) or stale Articles for creation drafts (G13)), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. In the second use case, this page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be "userfied", i.e., restored as a draft or emailed to you; this way, the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here). Be clear as to which namespace is intended, when requesting a refund of a deleted article.

    This means that content deleted after discussion – through deletion processes – may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process but through deletion review instead. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided.

    Do not request that pages or media deleted under speedy deletion criteria F7, F9, F11, U5, A7, A9, A11, G3, G4, G10, G11 or G12 be undeleted here.

    I was in midst of editing my first Draft Wikipedia page and realised someone deleted it. I spent the entire day on researching how to do up a page for my friend and I lost all my hard work?

    Wikipedia encourages creation and I realised my friend who has been a local DJ for more than 25 years, has not her own Wikipedia page. Hence I decided to help her as she is not tech-savvy.

    Please could you advise why other DJs, celebrities page are allowed but not mine?

The content was completely unsuitable for Wikipedia, as it was written in entirely unencyclopedic language, without a single reference to an independent source discussing the subject (see Wikipedia:Reliable sources).     A Linkedin page is a WP:Primary source, and the mediacorp.sg portfolio page is for promotion. Reliable sources on the other hand are secondary and expected to be neutral. The BBC sent me an email saying and l quote "On behalf of the staff of the NHU /BBC, do please pass on our very best wishes and say how sorry we are to hear of his illness. Clearly John has been involved in so many different things in his time at the BBC and had a full and illustrious career and contributed so much to the BBC and to the understanding of his craft.     Hello, today is the 13th on eastern standard time and I was planning on submitting before the deadline of 4/14/23 which is tomorrow.
