Salem Airport (IATA: SXV, ICAO: VOSM) (Tamil: சேலம் விமான நிலையம்) is located in Salem, India.
The airport is situated exactly at 20 minutes' drive from the city center.
It has been remaining idle for the past 15 years and there are plans to resume operation.The nearest airport which is handling service to Domestic and International cities are Trichy International Airport(Tiruchirapalli) in Trichy,which is located 135 km from Salem.
