List of programs broadcast by Adult Swim

This is a list of television programs formerly or currently broadcast on Cartoon Network's late night programming block, Adult Swim in the United States. Although both networks share the same time space, Adult Swim is classified as a separate entity for the purposes of Nielsen ratings. If an episode carried a particular rating descriptor (D, L, S, V), that descriptor will be listed. Otherwise, a generic rating without descriptors (TV-PG, TV-14, TV-MA) will be listed as the rating. Many shows regularly carry an TV-MA-V rating, though the only show to carry a TV-MA-L rating is The Office, and the only shows to carry a TV-MA-S rating are the Black Dynamite episode, "Black Dynamite: The Pilot", the Aqua Something You Know Whatever episode "Shirt Herpies", the Stroker & Hoop episode "Stroke Her and Boob", and the Neon Genesis Evangelion episode "Weaving a Story 2: The Oral Stage".

Unlike other networks, when it comes to canceled shows, Adult Swim usually leaves the door open for canceled shows to come back, be it on air or in another format. This is mostly because show creators of an Adult Swim series choose to move on to a new project, and like to leave the option open to return to their former project. Because of this, even if a show is listed under the "canceled" category, due of low budgets and flexible schedules, there is a chance it could return some day. For example, Space Ghost Coast to Coast has been brought back in short form on Gametap while The Brak Show, Perfect Hair Forever, and 12 Oz. Mouse all had webisodes released on Adult Swim Video following their conclusions.

As of 2011 each season is given a different alternative title as a running gag from series creators Dave Willis and Matt Maiellaro. An episode from the fifth season, titled "Boston" was pulled to prevent further controversy surrounding the 2007 Boston bomb scare. The tenth season premiered August 11, 2013. Cowboy Bebop	2001–2013	Premiered Sunday, September 2, 2001 at Midnight/11c. Adult Swim's first anime series, and the most frequently repeated full anime series on the network. It is aired edited for content, yet it was successful enough to be broadcast repeatedly for seven years in rotation with new anime series from 2002-2008. It stopped airing year-round, but was repeated during parts of the year in the first part of 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and now 2013. Several episodes were aired out of sequence during the show's first run due to content that was deemed not appropriate for a period immediately after the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York City. Airs Saturday nights at 4:30am/3:30c on Toonami. The Toonami staff have stated that Adult Swim has lost the rights to air the program, but are confident that rights will be reacquired. At the end of the series' third full run, it was pulled from the schedule, with Episode 37 (the final episode of the series) being the last episode aired. Eureka Seven	2006–2008; 2012–2013	Episodes 26-50 aired with special disclaimers warning viewers about the content of the episodes during the program's original run. The airing rights expired right after its then-final rerun in 2008, but were renewed in 2012. The series aired until August 2013, where it was removed from the schedule following completion of one full run. The series finale aired on August 11, 2013. The Toonami staff have stated that it is highly unlikely that the series will ever return to Adult Swim. Fullmetal Alchemist	2004-2010	Premiered on November 6, 2004 and ended on March 18, 2006. The follow-up film Fullmetal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shamballa was never aired (most likely due to the content surrounding Nazis). It was very popular, and continued to air reruns until 2010, where it was replaced by the reboot of the anime entitled Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and has been not aired on the network since. On November 19, 2012, it was confirmed on Toonami's Tumblr account that Adult Swim no longer has the rights to air the original Fullmetal Alchemist.
