Revision as of 21:18, 30 April 2020

This page is NOT for challenging the outcome of deletion discussions or to address the pending deletion of any page.

Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in two cases. The first case is restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions (G6) or stale Articles for creation drafts (G13)), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. In the second use case, this page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be "userfied", i.e., restored as a draft or emailed to you; this way, the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here).

This means that content deleted after discussion – through deletion processes – may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process but through deletion review instead. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided.

    Do not request that pages or media deleted under speedy deletion criteria F7, F9, F11, U5, A7, A9, A11, G3, G4, G10, G11 or G12 be undeleted here.

    Instructions for special cases:

To move it to a new location to fix red links. —Wylie39 (talk) 15:05, 21 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, no. A deletion in my user sub space stays deleted unless it is required as evidence in a serious, major issue . The community should not benefit from my work in my sub pages. Red links can be simply removed. And I note the lack of courtesy, Wylie39, in not asking me directly in the first place. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 02:34, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/The Prisoner of Heaven

I, Themrkiko, request the undeletion of this draft or Articles for creation submission deleted under CSD G13. Please restore the page as I intend to work on it. Themrkiko (talk) 11:18, 22 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Could I please have this entry restored and moved to draftspace? I'd like to have a look at it. There's been some news coverage since it closed. The closing admin doesn't do restorations and sent me here. Thanks. FloridaArmy (talk) 20:59, 22 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

    • Not done – this Requests for Undeletion process is only for articles that were deleted uncontroversially, and does not apply to articles deleted after a deletion discussion. Since the article you are here about was deleted after a discussion took place, it cannot be undeleted through this process. However, if you believe that the outcome of the discussion did not reflect the consensus of the participants, or that significant new information has come to light since the article was deleted, you may contact the administrator who closed the discussion. After you do so, if your concerns are not addressed and you still seek undeletion, a request may be made at deletion review. – Muboshgu (talk) 21:11, 22 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The deleting administrator, User:Sandstein, sent me here. I am not seeking to overturn the deletion outcome I would like to work on the deleted article in draftspace. FloridaArmy (talk) 00:38, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
FloridaArmy, I get wary about this sort of request due to my fear it'll be used as an endaround around the AfD. But if Sandstein sent you here, I'll do it. – Muboshgu (talk) 18:46, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Not sure if it matters but the deletion was I think a year ago and there has been some coverage since. I wasn't involved in the deletion discussion and have never seen the article. FloridaArmy (talk) 18:54, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    FloridaArmy, oh duh. I thought the AfD was 2020. – Muboshgu (talk) 19:09, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The information of this man, Gerard Drieman, is about a curious way of composing in the Netherlands. As far as I know, there was no one else composing in this style. This fact is important so musicologists may be triggered to have a starting point about composing in the Netherlands around WWII. Because I don't understand the rules of Wikipedia how to put the page in the right mode or: what I need to change to get this information as accepted, it would be great to have help about this. There is not so many information which can be proved by documents except the score themselves and the Phd Research he made. So, there is no commercial intention or whatsoever... —Hjlindhout (talk) 07:19, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! The revised versions of this article were deleted for copyright violations. This was entirely correct, and I’m legitimately sorry for any trouble which I caused. It was not my intention, and I definitely should have realized my mistake. Is there any way to make it possible for me to see the most recent deleted version of the page, before anything was removed (I believe the last such revision was made by a user called Rodw). There was a lot of legitimate good content added and edits done to the page in the last month. But sadly they were all lost (even the ones which didn't violate anything), because of the restoration that was needed. I’m 100% willing to add everything again, this time entirely properly done and reworded. But it makes it much more difficult without being able to actually see the differences. But of course, it requires special user permissions to see those deleted versions. Which makes it much more difficult to fix the article, and also make it so the additions which came from users that weren’t me will probably be entirely lost. If there is any way possible, may I please get access to compare that deleted article with the current edition? —BorderRegions (talk) 12:11, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Looking at the history it does look like there was selected removal of content from https://www.theindychannel.com/news/local-news/indianapolis/indiana-school-shootings-a-comprehensive-list-of-the-last-130-years and https://www.cnn.com/2018/11/13/africa/uganda-school-fire-intl/index.html.
What I see removed, not done by you is adding Januuary 27, 2019 Naperville, Illinois; someone added some punishments; everything else was minor. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 01:50, 24 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

    • Done – as a draft that was deleted under CSD G13, the page has been restored upon request. However, the draft namespace, though it is intended to provide some breathing room to create and develop a page without the time pressure of immediate review, is not for the indefinite hosting of material that is unsuitable for inclusion in the article mainspace. Please continue to work on the draft so that it meets Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for inclusion and then submit it for review—at the least, prior to another six months elapsing. When you are ready, a review can be requested by placing this code at the top of the page and then saving: {{subst:submit}}. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 01:43, 24 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

    File:Lee Everett.jpg

File was being used on the fict. character page Lee Everett. The image was replaced in the article on Sept 25 2019 [1] but based on the logs for the replaced image [2] this was from a banned use under evasion, so the new image was deleted and the image stripped from the infobox. This left the original image (being requested here) as unused, never brought back to replace the deleted image, which was deleted as orphan 7 days later. This image was "fine" for NFCC use (though looking at the deleted page history, the rational could be improved a notch but it is being used for an infobox pic of a notable fictional character. —Masem (t) 17:16, 24 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Done – as a non-free file deleted as orphaned, this has been restored upon request. Please note that the file needs to be de-orphaned within 7 days, otherwise it may be deleted again per CSD F5. Not sure that I am doing this right but if I'm not maybe somebody will be able to help me since what happened was out of the blue and I didn't expect it to happen. On my user page in my history I had pages that I had saved because I was working on a personal project but out of the blue they got deleted by an administrator with no warning. The information that I lost I was gonna come back to and I did manage to get some of it back after I asked the administrator but I am asking for all of it back. If I can't get it back, can I at least have the content e-mailed to me? I will acknowledge that I used Wikipedia as a web host but I didn't know it was against the rules and if I get the information back I will never do it again. I was in the very beginning of drafting this article about Prof. Dr. Ripudaman Singh in my Sandbox. Ripudaman Singh is one of the most forward seeing and notable persons in Nondestructive testing and Innovation management. He started the areas of reliability and PoD within the American Society for Nondestructive Testing. He is currently leading the activities for the new area called NDE 4.0. Dr. Singh has authored 4 Books and dozens of papers. He was an invited key-note speaker at multiple conferences. Therefore, please undelete this draft of an article. It will take a couple more weeks for me to work on it and to collect all the necessary references. —Dr. Johannes Vrana (talk) 07:46, 27 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

    Hemi-laryngopharyngeal spasm

I am Dr. Honey's research coordinator, and I believe that the Hemi-laryngopharyngeal spasm page should be considered for undeletion. Hemi-laryngopharyngeal spasm (HeLPS) is a disease, and is not original research. Seeing as Wikipedia contains information on the majority of human diseases, I believe that HeLPS should be able to have its own page on Wikipedia. As HeLPS was recently discovered in 2016, I believe that having its own page on Wikipedia will allow the disease to gain increased widespread recognition. HeLPS is often misdiagnosed as a psychiatric condition, therefore the majority of patients with HeLPS will never have the chance to have the surgery that is available for this disease. Having a platform on Wikipedia will potentially offer help to patients suffering from HeLPS who have been misdiagnosed to find the answers that they deserve, as more patients are turning to the internet for answers. The Wikipedia page is of course not a substitute for a neurological examination. However, it may help patients to discover what it is that they are truly suffering from.

I believe that having a HeLPS page on Wikipedia allows for increased public awareness of the disease. Patients are often asking me as a research coordinator for an online source of information outlining their disease so that they themselves can have a better understanding of it. Wikipedia is an easily accessible venue for patients to reference, and it thus allows for further understanding and awareness of HeLPS and the impact that it may have on those affected. I believe that this page will be highly beneficial to those who are struggling to either find a diagnosis or to better understand their diagnosis.

For the reasons outlined above, I am requesting for the Hemi-laryngopharyngeal spasm Wikipedia page to be nominated for undeletion. —Leahpoly (talk) 21:41, 27 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia. There must be some form of recognition before we can even entertain having an article on a topic, and diseases and disorders aren't any different. "Increas[ing] widespread recognition" is something we explicitly do not do. —A little blue Bori v^_^v Onward to 2020 22:02, 27 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

    Todos os llamáis Mohamed

This page was deleted because it said the content was not of "relevancia enciclopédica," but there are many Wikipedia entries (even on Wikipedia.es) about movies or short films, so would argue that this page does meet the criteria for an encyclopedia entry. To find out more information, I also tried to speak with the administrator who deleted the article and blocked me, Taty2007, but even though it says I can still edit my own user page, I am not allowed and I am also not allowed to email the administrator. I would love to be able to speak with Taty2007 and have the article reviewed since I think it contributes valuable information about the short film Todos os llamáis Mohamed. —Tpoggi (talk) 16:22, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I am making this request in response to the reply I got for the same article. The reply stated that there were only three revisions undone, two from me and one from another user. This is incorrect, however, There were actually dozens of revisions undone, most of them by me, but also from multiple other users. It was an article I worked on for quite a while. Originally just going through and fixing minor issues I saw, but eventually I decided to start adding entities and removing improper entries as well. The article was reverted back to the state it was right before my first revision, around a month beforehand. I think what might be happening is because I’m one of the users who’s revision’s got undone, only I can see the deleted revisions in the history. But here are links to what I see.

There were A LOT of changes, both large and small, which I made (most of which didn’t break the rule, but where undone in the reversion). These revisions were deleted because they mostly consisted of copyright violations. We don't restore those, especially not here. However it looks like almost all the content which was removed was added by you, so I'm very dubious about giving you access to the deleted version in case you reinstate the copyright violations. @Muboshgu: This is not true per WP:REFUND above which specifically says that this page can be used for this - This page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be userfied, restored as a draft... This means that content deleted after discussion—at articles for deletion, categories for discussion, or miscellany for deletion among other deletion processes—may in some cases be provided to you. The only slight complication is that I'm asking for a history merge because the draft was clearly the source for the mainspace page, and there were improvements made to it in its time there. -- Netoholic @ 20:40, 29 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

    Superkombat Fighting Championship

The article and the years 2011-2018 of this kickboxing promotion established by Eduard Irimia (World Promoter of the Year in 2011 and 2013 Medalist of Honor of the Italian Republic) were wrongly deleted because the first SUPERKOMBAT articles were created in the beginning of 2011. At that time some MMA users were deleting a lot of kickboxing, since then there were established some rules for all the combat sports. Following the dissolution of Europe's No 1 promotion It's Showtime, SUPERKOMBAT was considered the No 1 promotion on the continent and until the creation of Glory World No 1 for a short time. In the article it was even written that SUPERKOMBAT won in 2011 World Promotion of The Year in Kickboxing, in front of Ultimate Glory (future Glory and Europe's formerly No 1 It's Showtime). All the events used to be Eurosport broadcasts, highly popular show (then also on CBS Sports Newtork in the US). You can check on the article's multiple sources from the largest newspapers and the kickboxing sites! Furthemore, SUPERKOMBAT co-promoted with K-1 in their last big year (2012). SUPERKOMBAT promoted the next Glory champions and challengers such as Rico Verhoeven, Alex Pereira, Pavel Zhuravlev, Benjamin Adegbuyi, Errol Zimmerman, Mladen Brestovac, Yousri Belgaroui, Yoann Kongolo etc and K-1s Albert Kraus (K-1 WGP MAX Champion), Ismael Londt (runner-up), Hesdy Gerges, Bob Sapp, and many more ranked to the top 10 of the world - some even World's No 1 and even p4p No 1 like Verhoeven and Pereira. In 2011 the promotion was unknown and new, although many, many big K-1 and It's Showtime stars were joining it even then. Please correct this injustice! Superkombat is on Wikipedia Japan, Germany, France, Italy, Romania, Poland and Portugal. Many top Glory fighters were formed by SUPERKOMBAT and in the only kickboxing rankings available right now on CombatPress many are ex-SUPERKOMBAT fighters. If you decide to reinstate, please undelete it but also move the main page to Superkombat Fighting Championship instead of SUPERKOMBAT Fighting Championship. As per UFC. Bahman Ansari

    Hello

I created a page for Iranian writer, poet and researcher Bahman Ansari. He is an Iranian postmodernist writer. He has more than 15 books and scientific papers.

You can see the link to see a list of some of his books: GoodReads.com

    in ResearchGate: ResearchGate

And to see one of his books on Google Books: Google Books

or Persian website like: دانلود کتاب

Searching for his name in Persian: بهمن انصاری , you can see many photos and books of him.

I created this page to appreciate this Iranian author and to acquaint non-Iranians with him. I first referred the article I wrote to Iranian news agencies. But the article was deleted. I wrote this article for the second time and this time I referred it to reputable sites like English Goodreads and Persian Goodreads, but again my article was deleted.

Please retrieve the article and if there is a problem in referring to the resources, please guide me to solve them.

    Thank you B.sooshiant (talk) 20:17, 29 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

    • Not done – this Requests for Undeletion process is only for articles that were deleted uncontroversially, and does not apply to articles deleted after a deletion discussion. Since the article you are here about was deleted after a discussion took place at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bahman Ansari, it cannot be undeleted through this process. However, if you believe that the outcome of the discussion did not reflect the consensus of the participants, or that significant new information has come to light since the article was deleted, you may contact the administrator who closed the discussion, MBisanz (talk · contribs). After you do so, if your concerns are not addressed and you still seek undeletion, a request may be made at deletion review. – Muboshgu (talk) 20:35, 29 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

    Draft:Kőszeghy Károly

(This user used the preload form for G13 undeletion, but did not specify the name of the Draft they would like undeleted. Consider checking their deleted contributions.) KoszeghyLea (talk) 20:39, 29 April 2020 (UTC) Draft:Kőszeghy Károly[reply]

Done – as an Articles for creation (AfC) submission deleted under CSD G13, the page has been restored upon request. Please note that you never submitted the entry for review. When you are ready, you need to click on the button in the AfC submission template that says Submit your draft for review!. – Muboshgu (talk) 20:40, 29 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

    Draft:Template:LaptopScreen

I, ThisIsNotABetter, request the undeletion of this draft or Articles for creation submission deleted under CSD G13. Please restore the page as I intend to work on it. ThisIsNotABetter (talk) 00:00, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Also, if you cam move this draft page to my personal namespace, can you create only the User:ThisIsNotABetter/Template:LaptopScreen page with these content? ThisIsNotABetter (talk) 00:02, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    Thanks! ThisIsNotABetter (talk) 13:57, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

    Chữ khoa đẩu

"Chữ khoa đẩu" version by Xuyền is certainly a hoax, but this hoax is still circulating among many Vietnamese fundamentalist nationalists. This is exactly why there should be an article about it, including the arguments refuting it, in the first place. Beside that, there are some other speculations, though still debatable, about what chữ khoa đẩu mentioned in ancient documents really was. We just do not delete an article about a hoax just because that is a hoax. Greenknight dv (talk) 05:33, 30 April 2020 (UTC) —Greenknight dv (talk) 05:33, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

As the article exists in German language and the content is accurate I expect future publications to prove the validity of content —Cuba98 (talk) 06:43, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I should not be punished for kindnness and wanting to meet new people and make new friends

If you are talking about User:D Rhindle, then we won't be restoring the call to join a club. Instead, based on your noble aspiration, you should be improving and writing some Wikipedia articles. Also I note that your signature does not match your user name, so you were harder to track down! Graeme Bartlett (talk) 13:31, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

    Robin Christopher

Christopher's page was deleted by a prod nomination because there were no refs other than an IMDB link. The article should be restored because she meets WP:ENT for having significant roles on Soap Opera's; she played her popular role Skye Chandler for over a decade on three different shows All My Children, One Life to Live and General Hospital where she received two Daytime Emmy Award nominations (ref), as well as playing the role of Lorna Devon on Another World for three years. Christopher also has gotten WP:SIGCOV for her soap roles so her reinstated article could be easily well-sourced. A sampling of those. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8GoldenAgeFan1 (talk) 14:36, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Done – as a contested proposed deletion, the article has been restored upon request. – Muboshgu (talk) 16:26, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

    Draft:Terissa Kelton

Their work as a producer is continually growing and more references are becoming available soon. —76.89.243.88 (talk) 19:42, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Done – as an Articles for creation submission deleted under CSD G13, the page has been restored upon request. Please edit the page to address any issues raised, and re-submit it; "Articles for creation" is not for the indefinite hosting of material found to be unsuitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. – Muboshgu (talk) 20:22, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
