The Nokia E72 is a smartphone from the Eseries range, building on the attractive Nokia E71 base design and form factor, and enhancing many of the feature set. Nokia E72 brings mobile email and instant messaging experience right out of the box, making it a great device for people who want to be connected, and productive in both their personal and professional lives.

Nokia E72 introduces the new Optical Navi Key, which greatly enhances the ease of scrolling through menus, emails, Internet browser, and images. Performance are also boosted all-round: new PC-like email UI, Nokia Messaging included, 5 Mpxl AF camera, Active Noise Cancellation technology for excellent voice clarity, 3 times faster data connectivity, and faster UI response.

The Nokia E72 was announced on June 15 2009 at the Nokia Connections 2009 event in Singapore[5].
