    This page is NOT for challenging the outcome of deletion discussions or to address the pending deletion of any page.
    Shortcuts

    Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in two cases. The first case is restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions (G6) or stale Articles for creation drafts (G13)), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. In the second use case, this page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be "userfied", i.e., restored as a draft or emailed to you; this way, the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here).

    This means that content deleted after discussion – through deletion processes – may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process but through deletion review instead. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided.

    Do not request that pages deleted under speedy deletion criteria F7, F9, F11, U5, A7, A9, A11, G3, G4, G10, G11 or G12 be undeleted here.

    Thanks for the quick response! Would third party coverage such as user reviews on platforms like Gartner, G2 count? I've also found case studies, but they are on the Safetica website.     That said... since you work for the company, you must read and comply with WP:PAID and the rest of WP:COI as well. In a nutshell, you must disclose your paid connection, and you must not edit articles you are connected with directly.     Sure I will comply with those rules. I've read in the general notability guidelines that the articles don't need to be written in English. I've found a few more sources (I'm not sure whether you want the url or the headlines - I'll provide the headlines).

    Category:Washington Redskins lists

    This cat was emptied and deleted instead of renamed when the team's name was changed to "Washington Football Team": see Category:Washington Football Team lists. Then when the team's name was changed again, "Washington Football Team lists" was redirected to Category:Washington Commanders lists instead of renamed.     I don't know the content of this deleted page, I am just arguing for the premise that there should be an article about the Empire of Kitara/Chwezi Empire/Bachwezi. I imagine that the reason this was deleted was because you couldn't find references to the Kingdom of Kitara other than Bunyoro-Kitara which was its successor, because it is often called the Chwezi Empire in academia, ruled by the Chwezi dynasty.     I suggest that the article be renamed Chwezi Empire, as well as Bunyoro be renamed Bunyoro-Kitara as (according to legend) there was a Bunyoro which predated the present Bunyoro until the Abatembuzi were overthrown by the Bachwezi. An article gave Chwezi's timeline as (CE 900-1500) whilst another stated that the old Bunyoro began in the 2nd millenium, so it's possible that these were both different dynasties of the same empire/kingdom, or old Bunyoro is a myth. —Alexanderkowal (talk) 18:37, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

    As the person who suggested it be deleted, I don't necessarily oppose, but if you do restore it I simply ask for it to be rewritten, in a way with reliable sources instead of a bunch of Hotep podcasts (as it was before I cleaned it out and was basically left with nothing). I did, FWIW, try to research it, but was basically left with nothing reliable and my research was confounded by a bunch of similarly named things. There might be something worth writing an article on here (especially if it's renamed Chwezi, there seemed to be more on that), but as the article stood it had basically no useful content besides a section I wrote about legends that's about the legend and not the empire.     I think that the latter case is true because the sources I have that mention both dynasties seem to use Kitara or Bunyoro-Kitara for both dynasties. Not much is known about how the early Tembuzi dynasty ruled other than other than by kings (abakama).
    To clarify, the reason why the subsection for the Tembuzi dynasty is larger than the one for the Chwezi dynasty is because accounts vary wildly on the number of Tembuzi kings.     Proposal for Elitist (band) to be undeleted

    I submit this article should be considered for undeletion. On September 2, 2010, this article for the band was created. On May 23, 2023, the article was proposed for deletion on the ground that no evidence of notability for the band was found. On November 17, 2023, another user requested that the article be converted into a Draft page. On January 24, 2024, the band reformed and released new music. This was cited and verified by various news outlets of notability in the metal music industry. I updated this article to reflect the new updates, and added additional citations throughout the article.       @Graeme Bartlett: Third time lucky! While the IP has been persistent in getting the draft restored, these undeletion requests are the user's only contributions to wikipedia. The user has not communicated, and never responded to questions on what changes the user would like to make. See the Feb 2023 and the Aug 2023 requests. Although Hut 8.5 may or may not have confused this IP with the other IP who had requested restoration in Dec 2022 and Jan 2023, who had repeatedly submitted without making changes, none of them have shown the willingness to communicate.     The article was deleted (some years ago) by individuals mostly associated with contribution histories associated with roads. Although extensively researched and footnoted the reason given was that the article was not notable. The local historical society is very interested in this research (and local publication), if the article can be found. A current review may also overturn the deletion.
