Angels & Demons

Thanks. Which edition and year were you using? Which entry was it? (The entry on Islam?) The citation should include that. Did the encyclopedia specifically mention in reference to Angels & Demons? Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 02:38, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

The article Fort Duckburg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

A search for references did not find sufficient WP:RS content to support this article as written, Fails WP:N and WP:V

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. JeepdaySock (AKA, Jeepday) 15:27, 22 September 2010 (UTC)

See my edit, I have checked for published references and stand by the rational in the prod. JeepdaySock (AKA, Jeepday) 10:58, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

Nomination of Fort Duckburg for deletion

A discussion has begun about whether the article Fort Duckburg, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Fort Duckburg until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Jeepday (talk) 22:31, 28 September 2010 (UTC)

Edit warring at 2012

I note that you have inserted the same edit 5 times so far at 2012 and 3 editors, including me, have reverted you. You should have stopped after the second time and tried to get consensus on the talk page. Please do not add this again without getting such consensus. Edit warring is not just 3 reversions in 24 hours, this sort of activity with no discussion can also be considered edit warring and editors can be blocked for it. Dougweller (talk) 11:19, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

Please use edit summaries

You're too experienced an editor now to know we expect editors to use edit summaries. Without them, when you continue to insert something others have reverted, it looks even more like edit warring. Using them, you are much more likely to convince other editors that your edit is appropriate. Dougweller (talk) 20:18, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

ANI discussion

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. - this is about your 2012 edits and I have said I am not asking for you to be blocked. Dougweller (talk) 20:52, 16 October 2010 (UTC)

2012

Hi -- I personally think you are probably right that the end of bullfighting in Catalonia is important enough to mention in the article. But. When you add something to an article and it is reverted, even if you don't understand why you can't just keep re-adding it. You must write a section on the article's talk page explaining why the material belongs, and allow other editors to answer. This is not a free choice. Looie496 (talk) 00:51, 17 October 2010 (UTC)

WP:BRD is a good essay in regards to the above, and just because someone reverts you, it is not immediately vandalism. Please assume good faith.— dαlus Contribs 05:34, 18 October 2010 (UTC)

Please stop adding the Bull Fighting ban to the 2010 article. The consensus is to not include it in the article. ttonyb (talk) 15:50, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
I've said it before and I'll say it again, stop referring to users who disagree with you as 'malicious vandals'. Such is a personal attack, and personal attacks are strictly forbidden. Indeed, I fail to see how you could even say what you did to me on my talk, given they have given you very specific reasons why. They have explained to you, and still you act like they've given you nothing. This is your second warning for personal attacks. Stop calling people vandals, or you'll be reported.— dαlus Contribs 22:05, 22 October 2010 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for Edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Dougweller (talk) 18:00, 6 November 2010 (UTC)

You may be blocked, per WP:AN3

Hello Das Baz. Please see WP:AN3#User:Das Baz reported by User:Daedalus969 (Result: ). You continue to make changes to articles when it's clear that your changes lack the support of other editors. In my opinion the best solution is to issue a long block, which might be lifted if you agree to follow Wikipedia policy. Please respond in the AN3 conversation and offer to do better in the future. In this way you may be able to avoid sanctions. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 19:30, 7 November 2010 (UTC)

Das Baz, I saw your response at WP:AN3. We expect you to have the WP:COMPETENCE needed to tell if your changes don't have consensus. Administrators won't have time to give you personal messages each time you do something that other people don't agree with. For example, here is a change to September 18 that you made more than once. If you would agree not to persist in making any change that someone else has undone, you may be able to escape sanctions. You should also promise to make edit summaries for all your edits. EdJohnston (talk) 20:43, 8 November 2010 (UTC)

November 2010

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary for your edits. Doing so helps everyone to understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. This will tell you what you need to know. Please remember you are now expected to use edit summaries. Thank you, Dougweller (talk) 13:45, 9 November 2010 (UTC)

The article Kefa has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This essay presents a nonnotable theory of which the central claim has remained unsourced, despite a request for a citation from more than a year ago. Possibly a recreation of a deleted article.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Added template for SuggestBot

Hi,

Thanks for being one of SuggestBot's users! I hope you have found the bot's suggestions useful.

We are in the process of switching from our previous list-based signup process to using templates and userboxes, and I have therefore added the appropriate template to your user talk page. You should receive the first set of suggestions within a day, and since we'll be automating SuggestBot you will from then on continue to receive them regularly at the desired frequency.

We now also have a userbox that you can use to let others know you're using SuggestBot, and if you don't want to clutter your user talk page the bot can post to a sub-page in your userspace. More information about the userbox and usage of the template is available on User:SuggestBot/Getting Recommendations Regularly.

If there are any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me on my user talk page. Thanks again, Nettrom (talk) 17:43, 6 February 2011 (UTC)

The article Potiphar Cubbins has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable fictional subject. It's spelled wrong - it should be 'Potiphar Gubbins' - but even if it were spelled correctly, he would still be a non-notable character. I can't find enough sources to suggest that there's anything particularly notable about this poem ("Study of an Elevation, in Indian ink").

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Miguel Zugastegui requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Epeefleche (talk) 06:28, 30 May 2011 (UTC)

Hi, this message is to let you know about disambiguation links you've recently created. A link to a disambiguation page is almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. For more information, see the FAQ or drop a line at the DPL WikiProject.
