    Shortcuts

    Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in two cases. The first case is restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions (G6) or stale Articles for creation drafts (G13)), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. In the second use case, this page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be "userfied", i.e., restored as a draft or emailed to you; this way, the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here). Be clear as to which namespace is intended, when requesting a refund of a deleted article.

    This means that content deleted after discussion – through deletion processes – may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process but through deletion review instead. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided.

    Do not request that pages or media deleted under speedy deletion criteria F7, F9, F11, U5, A7, A9, A11, G3, G4, G10, G11 or G12 be undeleted here.

    The entire substance of the article at the time of its deletion was:

    The Marhal also prononounced Mandal, Marral or Mahal, are a Jat gotra, now found mainly in South Punjab and Sindh, although some are still found in Jarauda in Muzaffarnagar District of Uttar Pradesh. They are one of the larger Muley Jat clans.

    There were no citations, as any citations that had previously appeared in the article had been removed as sources unacceptable for use in Wikipedia. There would therefore be no benefit to restoring the article history, as it contains no usable content. I would suggest instead beginning a new draft in draftspace at Draft:Marhal.     Declined pending further information. This was undeleted over six months ago with a pledge that it would be worked on, but no edits were made to improve the entry for resubmission.     If I may humbly ask, the short reasoning is that I think it is a notable subject, and that you should cooperate and not work against the volunteers of Wikipedia unless you have a good reason. Can you demonstrate a good reason why I should not be allowed to work on it? But sure, I can pinky promise that I will do all I can to work on it this time. But I think we all know that a promise from a stranger on the internet is worth nothing. If the answer is still no I would please like some guidance on how to appeal. Thank you.     @Thomastruong158: Not done – this page was deleted as a blatant advertisement under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion and Wikipedia is not to be used as a vehicle for promotion. This does not necessarily mean a suitable article on this topic cannot be created. If it is a notable topic, e.g., multiple reliable, secondary, published sources that are entirely independent of the subject have written about it in substantive detail (not just mere mentions), then a neutrally written article may be possible. This one was written like a commercial.

    Template:Local authorities in Shropshire

    There are 3 LAs in Shropshire with articles namely Shropshire Council, Telford and Wrekin Council and Shrewsbury Town Council and is a standard county template, see Category:English local authorities by county templates also T3 doesn't exist anymore anyway. —Crouch, Swale (talk) 20:29, 11 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

    Sure I will comply with those rules. I've read in the general notability guidelines that the articles don't need to be written in English. I've found a few more sources (I'm not sure whether you want the url or the headlines - I'll provide the headlines).
