    Shortcuts

    Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions (G6) or rejected Articles for creation drafts (G13)), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. This page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be userfied, restored as a draft or emailed to you so the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here). This means that content deleted after discussion—at articles for deletion, categories for discussion, or miscellany for deletion among other deletion processes—may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided at all.

    This page is only for requesting undeletion of pages and files which have already been deleted. If the page you are concerned about is still visible, but has a warning message (template) at the top, please do not post here, but follow the instructions in the template or on your talk page. Please do not request that pages deleted under speedy deletion criteria A7, G4, G5, G11 or G12 be undeleted here.

    The declining review by Otr500 stated "There is almost a 50% chance that material has copyright violations. This could possibly be from from at least one source or close paraphrasing which is unacceptable. Notability is an issue when there are primary sources only." No specific source was mentioned and the reviewer did not ask for deletion on copyright grounds. As it was G13-able I'm afraid I did not investigate further. On a quick look now, without the benefit of the copyright-detecting tools, there's a couple of fragments copied from [1] but nothing that would lead to deletion. Perhaps Otr500 could comment?     I am sorry but I would have to refresh my thinking. A high probability of copyvio, even too close paraphrasing, along with only primary sources is a very good indication of a problem article. If I did not seek deletion it was probably because of more than one reason. I likely had trouble locating reliable independent sources, needed to satisfy the use of primary only, but that would be something presumably solved by the author or other interested party -- or not. I do not recall the copyvio issue or source but that figure (50% chance) would have come by running a scan as I would not presume to try to guess something like that. However, if I didn't seek deletion or report a clear violation, the decision to delete would be on the person that did so. Notability, however, would be an issue that could "lead to deletion".     A claim could be made that the article was in a substantially different condition than when it was deleted, with the Times of India and the Bombay Times used as references. I took a glance at it, and decided not to remove the speedy tag because these sources were exactly the same verbatim, and appeared to be based on a press release. I figured another admin who came to the same conclusion I did would delete it. Anyway, I'd be willing to restore this to the Draft area, on strict condition that it go through the complete WP:AFC review process. @Annki777:, you've created more than 60 articles, yet only 22 of them have not been deleted. I'm not sure your grasp of our Notability guidelines indicate your should have extended confirmed status as it stands.
