    Shortcuts

    Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions or rejected Articles for creation drafts), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. This page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be userfied, restored as a draft or emailed to you so the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here). This means that content deleted after discussion—at articles for deletion, categories for discussion, or miscellany for deletion among other deletion processes—may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided at all.

    This page is only for requesting undeletion of pages and files which have already been deleted. If the page you are concerned about is still visible, but has a warning message (template) at the top, please do not post here, but follow the instructions in the template or on your talk page. Please do not request that pages deleted under speedy deletion criteria A7, G4, G5, G11 or G12 be undeleted here.

If you feel an administrator has erred in closing a deletion discussion or in applying a speedy deletion criterion, please contact them directly.     Talk:Epidemic Sound

    That talk page contained information in case the article gets created anytime soon. I know deletion rule G8, but that rule is rather for formerly existed articles, so this is an exception. The article Epidemic Sound never existed.     @Chanc20190325: You may need to review G8 again because it's says "Pages dependent on a non-existent or deleted page". I am not an admin but I don't think this page will get restored since there is currently no article. Since you already have a copy of what was said I would recommend that maybe you start a draft article and attach the talk page to that. McMatter (talk)/(contrib) 13:38, 23 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
    • Not done as noted above G8 applies to talk pages of articles which never existed as well. I don't think the contents of the page would have been suitable for an article talk page even if the article had existed, to be honest, as it consisted of discussion of naming of pieces hosted by Epidemic Sound.     • That is correct – it was simply a shell transcluding parts of another ~30 articles. I posted a lengthier explanation on the talk page of the entry below above with my reasoning for this, but the admin who handled the G7 requests on both articles nuked the talk page under CSD G8, apparently...     This just gets more and more bizarre as the days go by. While I take that move in good faith, it shouldn't be "recreated", it should be undeleted and restored. This has deleted the article's history and the entire talk page as well. I don't know where this recreated version comes from but it's not the right response to this, especially when the original article was content split from another article, which wasn't attributed correctly at the time. The article only became a list of transcluded content hours before the article was nominated for speedy deletion, after my revert of the transcluding had been reverted, and after I had opened a talk page discussion over this.
    With respect, I would like to hear why Fastily then deleted the article and why ReaderofthePack didn't restore the article either to main space or to a user space. I'm also confused why they asked Mélencron if it was okay that the article was undeleted? There have been multiple authors of that article, so clearly not eligible for G7 speedy deletion.     Green Society Forum

    The organization is working since last 5 years with government agency namely Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation and NGO namely Pratham promoting creativity, innovation, environmentalism through Upcycling and art. It has been organising various training workshops with respect to nature based development ie. using natural resources and also involved in creating social enterprises. I believe the Wikipedia will understand the need and do the needful. I come under COI and will be happy to act as a connected contributor. But i assure there is no matter of advertisement G11 attached to it. And the external links and references were all newspaper news and were used to verify the said information is true. I believe if a administrator would personally go through it will find the facts.

    Request cum Suggestion: Flexibility needs to be increased in Wikipedia. Speedy deletion must not be a priority, not just for my subject, but also for those who will be sharing their articles in future. Talks must be meant for improvement of articles. It should be claimed with references by highlighting the text material. May be volunteers must have some more patience to accommodate new contributors. Moreover A local level Volunterism must be delegated for localisation and proper verification of articles. Justifying articles on the basis of resource available on net cannot justify the work of grassroot field workers, who hardly comply with internet savyness.

    • Not done advertising/G11 deletions do not qualify for restoration through this process. You will need to speak to the deleting admin or go through WP:DRV.     • I will note that books, newspapers, and magazines are also suitable for referencing. Material does not have to be on-line, but should be capable of verification by others, so expert knowledge or original research is unsuitable in itself.     I suggest that you write this at Draft:Peaks of Grassi Community Association. Start with the references in reliable, independent writings, and rewrite what they say about it. Contact information is not required for an encyclopedia as it not to be used for promotion. Draft:Peaks of Grassi is likely more useful to write for our readers.     It might be wise to keep Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of top-ten dance singles of 1976 in mind - pretty unanimous delete. If that lot gestating your draft space makes it into mainspace, it is very likely to go the way of all flesh in short order.
