Following is a comprehensive list of all Article III and Article IV United States federal judges appointed by Donald Trump during his presidency, as well as a partial list of Article I federal judicial appointments, excluding appointments to the District of Columbia judiciary.[1]

As of November 16, 2017, the United States Senate has confirmed 14 Article III judges nominated by Trump, including 1 Associate Justice of the Supreme Court, 8 judges for the United States Courts of Appeals, 5 judges for the United States district courts, and 0 judges for the United States Court of International Trade.[2] There are currently 45 nominations to Article III courts awaiting Senate action, including 10 for the Courts of Appeals and 35 for the District Courts.[3] There are currently no vacancies on the Supreme Court, 18 vacancies on the U.S. Courts of Appeals, 118 vacancies on the U.S. district courts, 2 vacancies on the U.S. Court of International Trade,[3] and 17 announced federal judicial vacancies that will occur before the end of Trump's first term.[4] Trump has not made any recess appointments to the federal courts.

In terms of Article I courts, as of November 16, 2017, the Senate has confirmed 3 judges nominated by Trump, all for the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. There are currently 6 nominations to Article I courts awaiting Senate action, including 2 for the United States Tax Court and 3 for the United States Court of Federal Claims and 1 for the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. Trump has not yet nominated anyone for appointment to the United States Court of Military Commission Review. Trump designated Susan G. Braden as chief judge of the Court of Federal Claims.

In terms of Article IV territorial courts, Trump has not made any appointments or elevated any judges to the position of chief judge.

The Trump administration has been criticized for nominating an unprecedented proportion of Judges deemed "not qualified" by the American Bar Association[5][6], as well as for the highly conservative ideological bent of his nominees, who have been largely been drawn from candidates approved by the Federalist Society[7], and for the lack of diversity of its judicial selections, over 90 percent of whom are white, and over 80 percent of whom are men, as of November 2017.[8]
