Welcome to WPF1. Ther is a Newsletter exclusive to WPF1 members. All we ask are things listed. Chubbennaitor 16:54, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

Lucas Di Grassi

Hi Cdhaptomos. I've reverted your change of moving Lucas Di Grassi to Lucas di Grassi. Di Grassi's official website consistently uses a capital 'D', so it seems reasonable for us to follow that example. Currently, all references to him within the English Wikipedia (that I'm aware of) also use capital 'D'. I'm more than happy to discuss the issue at Talk:Lucas Di Grassi, but if the consensus is that it needs to be changed, then we need to change it everywhere throughout Wikipedia. Regards. WD

Could I ask y u removed the WD for the Monaco Grand Prix of Sato and Davidson. Chubbennaitor 20:59, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

What I don't understand is y for SA but not the drivers. I'd understand not every one and update per race but not just one WD and expect people to automatically know that they withdrew from every race ( as far as we know). Chubbennaitor 21:07, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

I know they weren't expected but they still withdrew didn't they. I know that if I'd just got interested in F1 and I saw the page I'd want to know why they haven't been marked down. They don't need WD but the white boxes would be fine. Chubbennaitor 10:34, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

Never mind. They withdrew from everything but the decision is ok. Chubbennaitor 13:07, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Dionysus Explorer Scout Unit requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. AndrewWTaylor (talk) 11:31, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Individual Explorer Scout units are just not going to meet our requirements for notability. Unlike, say, Vijay Mallya or Aberystwyth‎ (subjects on which you have edited in the past), the DESU is simply not of international relevance or interest. --Orange Mike | Talk 14:49, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Max Mosley.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Max Mosley.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:20, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
