This was a recent art movement that had significant traction, with notable members such as David McDermott, Marina Guinness, Gary Farrelly and Christy Moore's son Padraig. It should not have been deleted. It is part of the flesh of the contemporary Remodernist art movement. —[[Special:Contributions/212.129.79.239|212.129.79.239]] ([[User talk:212.129.79.239|talk]]) 22:43, 10 November 2020 (UTC)

Revision as of 22:43, 10 November 2020

This page is NOT for challenging the outcome of deletion discussions or to address the pending deletion of any page.

Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in two cases. The first case is restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions (G6) or stale Articles for creation drafts (G13)), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. In the second use case, this page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be "userfied", i.e., restored as a draft or emailed to you; this way, the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here).

This means that content deleted after discussion – through deletion processes – may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process but through deletion review instead. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided.

    Do not request that pages deleted under speedy deletion criteria F7, F9, F11, U5, A7, A9, A11, G3, G4, G10, G11 or G12 be undeleted here.

    Instructions for special cases:

    • Done – as a draft that was deleted under CSD G13, the page has been restored upon request. However, the draft namespace, though it is intended to provide some breathing room to create and develop a page without the time pressure of immediate review, is not for the indefinite hosting of material that is unsuitable for inclusion in the article mainspace. Please continue to work on the draft so that it meets Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for inclusion and then submit it for review—at the least, prior to another six months elapsing. When you are ready, a review can be requested by placing this code at the top of the page and then saving: {{subst:submit}}. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 10:05, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

    Well (solitaire)

Please move this page under my user space (USERFY) —Iorsh (talk) 19:49, 31 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This was deleted as the result of an WP:AfD discussion (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Well (solitaire)), so mightn't WP:DRV be a better place. The consensus to delete (not userfy) was unanimous . --Deepfriedokra (talk) 10:29, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
First, one should ask the deleting admin, @Eddie891: --Deepfriedokra (talk) 10:31, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
While I'm not opposed to moving this into your userspace, I'd like to see some justification why the article should be moved there, as consensus was unanimous that it failed GNG. If it's not notable, userfication is pointless. No amount of editing can overcome a lack of notability. Thanks, Eddie891 Talk Work 12:37, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

    • Not done – this Requests for Undeletion process is only for articles that were deleted uncontroversially, and does not apply to articles deleted after a deletion discussion. Since the article you are here about was deleted after a discussion took place at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/AirDee, it cannot be undeleted through this process. However, if you believe that the outcome of the discussion did not reflect the consensus of the participants, or that significant new information has come to light since the article was deleted, you may contact the administrator who closed the discussion, Salvio giuliano (talk · contribs). After you do so, if your concerns are not addressed and you still seek undeletion, a request may be made at deletion review. – Muboshgu (talk) 19:06, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

    Roman Staněk

Roman Staněk is a professional Formula 3 driver and Formula 4 race winner. Every single Formula 3 driver has a Wikipedia page. Apparently someone deemed him not notable enough and proceeded to delete his page, which I find mind-boggling. —79.148.62.211 (talk) 22:54, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Note: This editor edited the closed discussion, accusing the deleting admin Sandstein of having "absolutely no clue about motorsport" and "killing Wikipedia". Sock (tock talk) 00:53, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
That is not true. You completely distorted my words. And regardless, they should have no effect on the verdict of my undeletion request. —79.148.62.211 (talk) 4:33, 5 November 2020 (UTC)
Where exactly was there a discussion? Someone said "as far as I can tell, he does not meet the criteria of notability" (which is more than proven to be WRONG) and someone else just deleted it afterwards. —79.148.62.211 (talk) 4:33, 5 November 2020 (UTC)
It looks as if you found the "discussion". No one supported keeping it there. You could write a draft. Or you could attempt WP:DRV, but it would be best to first have your references ready to prove notability. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 10:45, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Only one supported deleting it. And he/she wasn't even 100% sure ("as far as I can tell"). Notability is proven, read again my request. —79.148.62.211 (talk) 18:24, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

    • @Artcadet: The page has contradicting information as far as copyright goes. The copyright information section states "All text content on this website is not copyright, but rather crafted with the intent of sharing the history behind so many of these untold tales." However at the bottom of the page it has "© Fairview Art Collection", implying that there is a restrictive copyright. If you're the person who holds the copyright to the site, there needs to be a clearer declaration of copyright. It may be a good idea to contact the Volunteer Response Team about how to phrase the copyright information on the site. You may also want to look at pages like this, which has the following disclaimer at the bottom of the page:
All content CC-BY-SA except where noted.
It would also be good to have a copyright page as well, that clarifies what aspects of the site are held under which copyright. I'd also very, very heavily recommend reviewing the different types of copyright to see which would best fit your needs. It may not be in your best interests to be completely copyright free, as this means that they don't have to credit your site. The main things you will need to select with copyright are the options to have the work free for others to use and adapt and to allow them to use it for commercial purposes. The link about the different types of copyright goes into this a bit more. ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 11:59, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

    Klassroom

Klassroom is an LEP (Learning Experience Platform) Application for Parent-teacher communication. Apps that offer similar support such as ClassDojo or Remind have wikipedia pages explaining their history and purposes. Klassroom is an edtech startup company which is just as entitled as these other applications to have a wikipedia page. The argument for the deletion of the page had to do with the mentioning of funding on the page, however most startup pages on wikipedia (including the ClassDojo page : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ClassDojo) mention seed funding origins as part of the history of the company. This is the webpage of the company: https://klassroom.co/ and these are news, blog, government website articles in which Klassroom appears on the web: https://klassroom.medium.com/ , https://lutinbazar.fr/plus-jamais-sans-klassroom/ , https://forums-enseignants-du-primaire.com/topic/325623-klassroom-et-non-pas-classroom-qui-conna%C3%AEt-et-utilise/ , https://www.scoop.it/topic/outils-collaboratifs-by-infos-1/p/4094005542/2018/02/11/klassroom-sur-m6 , http://www.ac-versailles.fr/cid135881/accord-entre-l-editeur-klassroom-et-l-academie-de-versailles.html . Graeme Bartlett (talk) 21:33, 6 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

My addition was merely on the offline discussion and it was totally incorrect to called it a "hoax". The page was deleted before I even got a chance to look at it again. It most certainly was NOT a hoax, and nothing I write is less than carefully vetted for accuracy.

It probably was about the reason Dr. Fauci was wrong in his claim that herd immunity would result in 4 million deaths.

But I have no interest in discussing this if people are going to be so rude as to delete pages and call honest research, a "hoax". That is totally unacceptable.

Don't expect me to ever contribute again.

    71.228.122.167 (talk) 02:34, 7 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

    • I can't see where you have any deleted pages in your edit history. It looks like you contributed here and the conversation was archived on October 25 because no one contributed further to it. This page has a shorter amount of time before threads are archived because the talk page has a lot of conversations on it. If you believe that something should be further discussed, feel free to bring it up on the talk page again. If this is in relation to a page that was deleted as a hoax via speedy deletion, we will need the name of the deleted article since it looks like it was either created while you were logged into an account (that you're not logged into now) or it was when you were in another location, as your IP address can change depending on your location and/or device. edobo

The article/page has been move to Draft:Edobo the reason article should not be deleted is that its one of it kind service at present started UV sanitized products to get delivered at doorstep in this pandemic so people should be aware of the same and notability will only comes when people notify this happening the modes of notify are encyclopedia/information/news etc otherwise how will all come to know the benefits of the service, thats it rest its upto wikipedia and their contributors to decide what to publish and make it notable —RaviJadhwani (talk) 08:29, 7 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

    • The page is here: Draft:Edobo. To show notability, please find independent references that talk about it, eg newspapers or magazines. And it is best not to references your own writings, as that is a form of COI. You can further improve the draft, or talk about it on Draft talk:Edobo. Anthony Appleyard can probably assist you in determining if the page is ready. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 10:28, 7 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not done – this Requests for Undeletion process is only for articles that were deleted uncontroversially, and does not apply to articles deleted after a deletion discussion. Since the article you are here about was deleted after a discussion took place at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Joey Primiani, it cannot be undeleted through this process. However, if you believe that the outcome of the discussion did not reflect the consensus of the participants, or that significant new information has come to light since the article was deleted, you may contact the administrator who closed the discussion, Soap (talk · contribs). After you do so, if your concerns are not addressed and you still seek undeletion, a request may be made at deletion review.. I will add that this article has been repeatedly recreated and the most recent recreation was deleted under speedy deletion criterion G4, not G13. {{re|PorkchopGMX}} (Push to talk) 19:33, 7 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi thanks for the ping. I'm just posting to say that I can't help here, as I was desysopped more than four years ago. Also, my only action involving this article was to reinforce the previously existing consensus established at AFD ... I was not actually part of the AFD itself. Soap 19:39, 7 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I guess I could add that, given that it's been nine years, I would endorse the undeletion of this article, since the person is much more likely to be notable now, and because our article may contain information that would be difficult to find today. But the person making this request should realize that what we deleted nine years ago may contain little more than an "early years" section. Soap 19:41, 7 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

    Sean M. Morrison

I'd like to have this article's contents made available to me either as a draft, userfied page, or emailed to me. I believe I may be able gather enough content to make this article more thorough than before. I disagree with the initial deletion rationale, which argued that it should be deleted because he did not meet BLP guidelines due to being "notable only for serving on a county council." First of all, he is also notable as leader of the Cook County Republican Party. Secondly, I believe there is reason to argue that Cook County Commissioners are notable enough to meet BLP notability guidelines. I would agree with the deletion rationale that county commissioners are not a notable enough position if it were most other counties. However, Cook County is larger than SEVEN states COMBINED in population and 28 states individually. State legislators for those states will generally be regarded as notable enough for BLP articles, so shouldn’t members of Cook County’s own legislative body be arguably be notable enough? Look at it this way, since Cook County has a population of 5.15 million, the seventeen members of the Cook County Board of Commissioners each have in excess of 300,000 constituents. That is FAR in excess of many state legislators. For instance, per Ballotpedia, in Illinois, state senators each represent only roughly an average of 217,468 constituents. ALL current Illinois state senators have received their own Wikipeida entries. —SecretName101 (talk) 23:38, 8 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

    Kenneth Harris II

{{subst:refund Kenneth Harris II The reasoning for erasing the page is entirely based on an opinion and incomplete google searches. The references provided were not solely local papers or NASA references. There are a substantial number of independent articles including ABC, NBC, and Vice News that can be utilized in addition to the ones listed. Furthermore, the reviewer's use of the word "gimmick" is a strong indication as to their own personal view of the subject and accomplishments. Please consider undeleting this page and rather flagging it for updates if verified information not sitting well with a reviewer is the main driving factor to suggesting the deletion of a page. As this was a rushed attempt to remove legitimate content, backed by incomplete fact-finding and incomplete searches.

Notes, Reason for deletion: "Almost all sources here are related to the subject. The Forbes source is just a directory page. The school and local newspapers are not reliable about the accomplishments of local figures.

The statement of his actual technical role is too vague to be meaningful. "30 under 30" is a publicity gimmick, and his role as the "Face of NASA" is equally a publicity gimmick. It is appropriate for NASA to do PR, but not on Wikipedia" }} — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.231.50.13 (talk) 18:02, 9 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Subject was Bloomberg Businessweek Entrepreneur of the Year in 2010, a verified national publication. He is also Founder and CEO of notable tech company that was covered extensively in reliable notable publications such as Washington Post, Tech Crunch, Mashable. Subject was also covered extensively throughout independent notable press and web for controversial admissions decision with Harvard Business School. See article references for verification.
