Nation

Edit whatever you'd like, I won't mind. Wikipedia is supposed to be a joint effort. I just saw the article and almost wept so took the initiative to get it going. Probably should have nominated for COTW or something. Anyway, yeah some of the links just didn't seem legit. I have to cross-ref with the RS list because I don't believe onlineworldofwrestling or pwew are reliable sources. Plus, some of them were doubled, such as citing pwew for show results and immediately citing wwe.com for the same results. It seemed redundant. Thanks for the input, though! I'll keep working.  Hazardous Matt  23:36, 18 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the update. I usually work on articles when I'm at the office (between calls...I'm a slacker :)) so I'll add the refs and do some wikilinking on it tomorrow.  Hazardous Matt  00:09, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

D&D articles for Wikipedia 0.7

Hi there!  :)

As someone who's worked on D&D and/or RPG articles before, I'm inviting you to participate in our goal to both improve articles that have been selected to be placed in the next Wikipedia DVD release, as well as nominate more to be selected for this project. Please see the WikiProject D&D talk page for more details. :) BOZ (talk) 19:28, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kandawayon

You deleted Kandawayon for lacking context just before I added that context. It's a village in Sabah, Malaysia. Could you please restore the article's history so that people can see who the original author is? Many thanks. --Eastmain (talk) 20:04, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Maathaad Maathaadu Mallige

You deleted Maathaad Maathaadu Mallige see [1] for blatant advertising.Could you please restore this article. it is a notable Kannada film which is directed by Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar. - Chandra.20 (talk) 01:11, 30 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sure,I will cleanup the article. - Chandra.20 (talk) 00:49, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Let me tell you something: I'm sorry about that link, I've made a mistake and I'm trying my hardest to correct the problem. But, I'm not sorry for putting up those confirmed Divas. You take yourself to YouTube and type in "Official Diva Roster" and you will find a video in the search results and it will show you all the confirmed Divas in the game. The official roster was linked to the internet and you can see for yourself at [[2]]. Now, you need to leave me alone. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gamble973 (talkcontribs) 01:07, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

PPVs

Hey, I saw you added Against All Odds 2005 to your project list. If you need any help with that let me know. I would love to help you get it to GA. I actually planned to make sure all TNA ppvs become GA.--WillC 20:10, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, since I recently started to expand most of the ppvs. I kind of feel I'm the watcher or director of TNA ppvs. I started expanding the 2008 ppvs and I've always thought to expand all of them. So when I saw you were going to work on Against All Odds I thought to offer my help and plus it made me excited since I haven't seen anyone else but one person actually say they are going to work on a TNA article and it takes a little stress off of me. If you want to know anything I'm working on look at Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling/PPVs.--WillC 20:16, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah they can put on a good show. I thought Lockdown was a good one, an 8 in my book, but everyone said it sucked but all the web sites said it was great. Plus I loved it that everyone was saying Bound for Glory was going to suck and people are saying it was an 8.5 out of 10 now. TNA can put on some great shows. I'm hoping to get Unbreakable so I can do that. I have BFG 07, that is why I have it on the list. I just haven't got around to working on it. I have 11 other ppvs to finish before I can work on that and half of them are almost complete.--WillC 20:26, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, I haven't talked to you since you went on a hiatus the first half of 2008. How you been? Glad to see you're up and about. bibliomaniac15 21:47, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nothing much, just gnoming around at what's available to be done. Out of a sudden masochistic sentiment though, I somehow managed to pass RFB. :P bibliomaniac15 21:59, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome

You know I must have forgotten but it is better late than never, Welcome to WikiProject Professional wrestling. I've seen you been working alot around here so I thought to say keep up the good work. You're a valuable addition to the project.--WillC 03:29, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, cool. Well talk to you later. I'm speechless.--WillC 20:14, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Question: Why haven't you nominated No Mercy 03 for GA yet?--WillC 05:24, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Either way it is going to sit there for a long time. Usually there is alot of wrestling articles on GAN. So waiting for the number to go down is like waiting for Jesus to come back. You're just going to wait and wait. I would go ahead and nominate it. You'll probably wait a month for the review so it is better to get that month started. I would nominate the ones I have on the waiting list but they still need work.--WillC 19:25, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I know what you mean. I've placed alot of attention on Lockdown. I've forgot about the other articles I'm working on. Sorry about your cut, maybe you can just type one letter at a time. Okay.--WillC 19:46, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Stop adding Jeff Hardy to RAW 2's roster

Jeff Hardy is not in the game what so ever. If you ever bothered to play it, you would know that. So stop using that outdated IGN roster list as a source since it's not correct. DoomahX (talk) 00:05, 23 October 2008 (UTC)DoomahX[reply]

Hey I think I'm going to make the article in a sandbox. I bought TNA's Ultimate matches DVD the other day and the Full Metal Mayhem match is on it and I thought to start the article now and prepare it for when you are ready to start on it. I was going to fix the lead and reception sections and write the Full Metal Mayhem bout in the event. Nothing more since that will take all of an hour or less. If it is alright with you that is?—WillC 08:06, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

PWorch would be the best idea since it has alot of old stuff for TNA. WrestleView is a good source and should be good enough for a GA review. I'll pull some sources out when you're ready to start together.—WillC 18:03, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well TNA articles are kind of different than WWE's, TNA has some crazy crap to explain, plus TNA can't seem to keep articles on TNA wrestling.com. Wrestleview was found marginally reliable, that is what made Lockdown fail its FAC besides a few prose issues. I would mainly source the background with PWTorch and Slam, wrestleview can be used for smaller things. You never know we might decided to take it to FA, which I doubt but better to be prepared. I'll source the event. I'm actually working on it right now. I'll give you the link when I'm done.—WillC 18:36, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, though I don't thank double sourcing would matter. PWTorch is reliable. Wrestleview is alright for a GA review, I was just saying for FA. I tend to look at making everything FA. I don't know why, ever since I've went to hell and back with Lockdown, changing the article from in universe to out of universe and going through every little change from June to September I want to make sure everything is set before I nominate it because it is stressful.—WillC 18:43, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You're singing to the choir. Nici thinks I'm insane with all the stuff I want to do. My list of projects to have done before Lockdown 09 is all of the 2008 TNA articles being FAs. Write an article about TNA's 2008 pay-per-view season and take it to FA. Then get a Featured Topic out of them. Also get the TNA roster to FL, AJ Styles and Samoa Joe to FA, Thank you for Smoking the film to FA. Victory Road 04, Turning Point 04, and Final Resolution 05 all to GA. BFG 07 to FA. Genesis 09 and Against All Odds 09 to GA. TNA Bound for Glory to FA. World X Cup 08 to FA. There is alot more as well. I aim high, extremely high and I just started expanding articles in May. So far I'm working on AAO 05 with you, Lockdown 08 and Sacrifice 08 to FA; Slammiversary 08, Hard Justice 08, Destination X 08, and No Surrender 08 to GA; and TNA Bound for Glory to GA. I'm getting there and I'm working on Final Resolution and AAO 08 in a sandbox. I also have the 2008 ppv article in a sandbox here.—WillC 19:15, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I got the idea from iMatthew, he was working on it in a sandbox and I saw it. I asked if I could still his idea and he said I don't care. I was copying off of him a little but I've decided to go a different way. I was going to really just place the lead from the real article in there. That pretty much sums each event up. I'll make a template for it as well. Have a reception section that tells of each event rating and talk about what wrestling sites thought of the overall year in events for TNA. Make an average rating for the year and place it in there. A production section will explain anything new that TNA did at its events, like going HD and having sets. Probably explaining what happened after TNA's Slammiversary event. Not exactly sure, probably what I did with TNA Bound for Glory.—WillC 23:50, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, I'm almost done with my part. I'll give you the link as soon as I'm done with Full Metal Mayhem in the event section. Lets work on it in the subpage and then move it to the article after it is done. It just works better.—WillC 23:50, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
There won't be much to finish after you see what I've done. Here is the link User:Wrestlinglover/Against All Odds (2005). I'll get the sources for the Event section after you finish writing it.—WillC 00:47, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I'll do a good copyedit of it after you're finished and remember stuff I've learned from Lockdown's GA and FA review as well as Sacrifice's GA review and it will be ready. The length is the problem. Right now it is just a rough draft. I haven't really tried to make it GA quality, after I choose to it should be ready. What do you think of what I've done so far?—WillC 01:09, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, tell me when you're done. I'm off to finish all the other crap I need to finish. Also, I looked at the first match you wrote, don't explain like a play by play. Mainly say if they hit their finishers or anyone came out. Telling about Williams huricanrana isn't really notable.—WillC 01:19, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, but don't get mad if I remove a little bit of it. I use to want to explain alot in the event section, I use to have Lockdown at 60 kilobytes. FAC and GA review cut it done alot.—WillC 01:25, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Alright and do whatever you think is best as well. I'm not always right. I could be hurting it more than improving it.—WillC 02:05, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, if you want I'll do a copyedit of it later?—WillC 20:37, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, I'll do it later.—WillC 21:24, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, will you delete Beer Money Inc.? It isn't notable at this time. It has went through two delete discussions that both turned out the same way. To delete it. Since you're an admin I thought to ask you.—WillC 22:59, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well I redirected it and then thought it should just be deleted or it will turn into Main Event Mafia with everyone removing the redirect. I can't get it fully protected and I can't get create protected so I'm not sure what to do with it. The project doesn't think the team reaches notability and I'm not done with the article in my sandbox. Not sure.—WillC 23:30, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I only found it because someone placed the link to it on the roster page. Now the only problem is Main Event Mafia and I have no idea what to do there because I don't even want to edit it because I believe I've greatly violated the 3RR already.—WillC 00:04, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, whats up? I haven't seen you on in a while.--WillC 03:50, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. :) If you hadn't heard, Gary Gygax and Wizards of the Coast have recently been promoted to "Good Article" status. I was also thinking of nominating Dragonlance and Forgotten Realms, and I figured I'd contact you since you've done some work on at least one of those. See the project talk page for discussion on that. BOZ (talk) 20:13, 10 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tag teaming an article?

Hey DoomsDay, you interested in tag-team tackling The Great American Bash (2008) to get it to GA? iMatthew 16:13, 16 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I can work on the background, lead, and aftermath if you'd like the event and reception. I went to see the event, (those are all my pictures) and I don't think I should write the event, as I may be biased to adding some non-notable info. ;) So as I was there, I'll check the event later on to make sure all is good. So, cool - lets go. iMatthew 16:53, 16 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No problem! I haven't gotten to it yet either. iMatthew 10:58, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Time for a new section

Okay, sorry to hear. I hate it when everything just hits the fan and you got one thing after another to do. I've had one of those types of weeks that lasted for more than a damn week. It is going on about 7 years. So far it is going okay. I have alot of crap in real life to get done but I can't seem to get in my groove. On here I've got three articles now on GAN and two that will be done this week to be placed on there. I have Lockdown 08 back up on FAC. Created another article yesterday and trying to figure out how to get about 10 articles done in a week along with the crap I have to get done in real life. Short hand, everything is normal. Do you own Against All Odds 05 or have you seen it on the internet anywhere?--WillC 04:03, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, oh I've been meaning to copyeidt No Mercy. I forgot, I'll get on that soon. Okay, so are we still working on AAO 05 or do you want me to take over? Just wondering. Yeah, there is alot of WWE articles that are GA. Hopefully I'll have just as many on the TNA side one day. There is alot of 2008 WWE articles that are not far from GA. RR and NWO would take a day to take out of universe and to fix. Backlash will take a bit longer. One Night Stand is an entire article. Vengeance is near an entire article. Good luck on whatever you choose.--WillC 20:23, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, hey don't worry about AAO. If you want to do something else it is cool with me. I was wondering since I had not seen anyone edit it for a while now. I'll have time to finish come next week or so. It isn't a big deal to me. I won't be on much come two weeks from now.--WillC 20:30, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No Mercy

Let me know when you are done with No Mercy (2007), and I'll drop the reviewer a line to let him know he can post the review. Thanks. :) Nikki311 19:38, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for working so hard on it! I don't think you have one of these yet, so here you go:
The Professional Wrestling Barnstar
For your great work in improving professional wrestling-related articles. :) Nikki311 22:43, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No Mercy 03

Well, you might want to watch it because it is under review, from what it says at GAN. I did a copyedit on it tonight and fixed a few things. I'll try to finish it later. I removed redundancy and moved and removed links to certain things. Just following stuff I've learned through Lockdown and with other articles. Well good luck with the review.--WillC 05:37, 1 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Congrats on No Mercy. Good luck with Unforgiven.--WillC 02:29, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Same here. I'm always busy. Hopefully soon I'll get a few days where I have nothing to do and I can get some of the crap I want to finish on here done. To tell you the truth, Unforgiven kind of goes too far in-depth. Cutting done the matches to only say who became interim champions and who won would be simpler, but I haven't read it fully yet. I use to like to kind of go play-by-play but it gets simpler after a while and you know what needs to be in the article and what doesn't.--WillC 02:38, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I'm kind of doing the same with Hard Justice (2008). I'm waiting for the review to fix somethings in the article. Oh, while I'm talking to you, can you delete Category:Genesis? I need it deleted before I can re-create it as Category:TNA Genesis, because it should have the TNA in its name. Genesis is too common a word. Yeah, No Mercy should be better but if I were you I would try to get Royal Rumble or No Way Out to GA before it. They are not out of universe and should be changed. They would probably be simpler than No Mercy, but that is your call. I only work on TNA stuff and soon I'm going to have all their 2008 ppvs done since I'm working on all of them. I just need to finish a few things. I guess we are all busy.
No that is it for now. I'll probably start coming to you for probelms from now on. LAX, Nikki, and me are not too friendly. We talk some but we don't say much, so I rarely ask for them to do something.--WillC 04:03, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Alright. Hey, something I might need you to do is make sure no creates Final Resolution (January 2008) or Against All Odds (2008) since I'm working on them in a sandbox and probably will have them both done this week and I plan to move them from the subpage to keep the history and not copy and paste. That is all I'll probably need from you for a while now. It has always been a fear or mine since I started working on them that someone would create the pages. Also sorry I forgot to sign last time. I almost forgot. Have you seen the Genesis 09 poster? It sucks. Genesis (2009).--WillC 04:03, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I heard the samething. I would rather Foley fight Abyss in a hardcore match though. That would be epic. I tend to like to work on stuff it private. I use to work out in the open like with Hard Justice and No Surrender. Too many ips and users were changing stuff that should not be changed. I got tired of it. So I would rather work on stuff in private now.--WillC 22:19, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, Angle/Foley could be pretty good, considering Angle is having match of the year candidates at every ppv. I'm looking at Monsters Ball Bound for Glory V; Mick Foley vs Abyss.--WillC 23:20, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That is possible because I see an AJ vs Joe feud after the storyline is over. It is about time that Joe turns heel. I see more like Jarrett turning on the Frontline since Foley is fighting Angle at Genesis, when it should be Jarrett vs Angle. Jarrett would fit very well with the Mafia. I also see Cage returning and attacking Sting. They start setting up the Sting leaving the Mafia angle that TNA wants to do. I doubt AJ will win the belt right now.--WillC 00:47, 4 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, if you don't mind me asking, what are all of your pro wrestling projects at the moment? I'm wondering so I can update the PPV list because I keep seeing you heavyly editing multiple articles and I'm trying to keep track of all of the TNA and WWE ppvs.--WillC 07:35, 6 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I'll update the list. Good luck with all of those.--WillC 16:40, 6 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Are you watching Final Resolution?--WillC 02:01, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I never can get a stream to work for me. Plus the page is protected so no ips edits tonight. So, Curry Man, Hernandez, Homicide, and Lethal won fired. Interesting. Plus EY won the belt again. What did Curry Man do to get a case. I so hope he gets fired.--WillC 02:12, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Putting TGAB 05 to the side for now....Armageddon (2007)

Ohai DoomsDay, I was wondering, to get this article (as well as Survivor Series (2007)) to GA, I'd like to try and split it up between four editors. Myself, you, SRX, and shall he have time, LAX. Would you like to help out, and take one out of the four sections (Background, Event, Aftermath, and Reception)? ayematthew 13:48, 6 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Editing tips

This is a new section in the newsletter to help familiarize project members with the Manual of Style, which should help them in editing not only professional wrestling articles, but all articles in general.

  1. Avoid using bolding to emphasize text. See MOS:BOLD for appropriate uses of bold text.
  2. If you do not want your information removed from articles, please use proper grammar and cite your sources.
  3. Please avoid adding rumors to articles. Most rumors cannot be sourced with a reliable source and go against the Biographies of Living Persons policy.
  4. Avoid jargon such as face/babayface, heel, turn, etc. in articles. People unfamiliar with professional wrestling will not understand what these words mean. See WP:JARGON for more information.

Re Final Resolution

First I think Curry Man will be fired, Daniels needs to return. Or he has the World Title shot and Curry Man defeats Sting for the World belt and then removes the mask to show he is the Daniels. Hernandez I believe has the Tag. Homicide has the X and Lethal has the world. I'm writing the Final Resolution article. I'll have it noted in it.--WillC 03:38, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, how did Christy win by DQ?--WillC 04:00, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, anything else happen? I know Suicide debuted. Exactly what happened?--WillC 04:13, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, Was the show any good?--WillC 04:30, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, what would you rate it out of ten?--WillC 23:23, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, that is weird. Everyone is rating it a 4. I can't imagine an event being a four. They said Lockdown was a 5. I watched it like 5 times I still think it is an 8. I don't want to buy it though. I never want to buy an event.--WillC 00:34, 9 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah I agree. They are calling it the wrost PPV of the year. No way that is true. People just like to shit on TNA. Seeing that sometimes WWE have really bad shows and most people rate them high. TNA can have a good show with a few problems and people rant. One dude I saw said Lockdown was terrible and TNA built up Joe's win crappy. Which is completely wrong since TNA built up to Lockdown perfectly. Making it all about the belt and it being Joe's destiny. He said that when Joe won the belt TNA did not give a shit. Which is completely wrong since he is the longest reigning TNA Champion. He beat Kurt Angle in the middle of the ring in a great match. TNA then built on the win by selling placks. People just like to shit on TNA. Looking at Night of Champions when all I heard was that was a bad show but when people rated it, they gave it 6 and above. One thing I don't get is, Slammiversary was a good show but Lockdown was surely better. But Slammiversary gets a 7 while Lockdown gets a 5.5. Hard Justice was a good show and got an 8 when Lockdown was better because Hard Justice only had three or four really good matches and there was really no bad match on the card but two that were decent. People just love to hate on TNA.--WillC 00:49, 9 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

TNA Roster

Hey, can you do a few fixes to the TNA Roster since it is protected? Reply back when you're on and I'll tell you the ones that are needed fixing without a consensus.--WillC 04:06, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well a few that are needed are: Curry Man moved to Unassigned talent. Suicide linked to Frankie Kazarian and he removed from unassigned talent. Nick Aldiz's named changed to Brutus Magnus, Akira Raijin ring name changed to Kiyoshi, and Jarrett moved to active roster.--WillC 22:51, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there! Today is your lucky day as you have an in-depth [read: painfully long] GAN review to respond to. I'll be available to help you along the way. This is almost GA quality as it is but surely you want to feel you've worked hard to get that second little green plus? Sillyfolkboy (talk) 03:16, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

FYI: I've just rewritten the signature move article I referred to in the review. Feel free to create a section discussing signature moves in professional wrestling. Take care. Sillyfolkboy (talk) 03:41, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there, I meant to say this earlier but – congrats on the GA! It was a pleasure to work things through with you. Take care. Sillyfolkboy (talk) 02:54, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey DoomsDay, we need a few more spots to fill out this year's WikiCup. I think you'd be a good contestant. Basically, it a competition for editors where you gain points for mainspace edits and GAs, FAs, FSs, FTs, among other things. There's are rounds and eliminations during the competition, and it's just a lot of fun. Myself and User:Garden run the competition, if you have any questions. Cheers, ayematthew 21:49, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Place your name under the "Competitors for the 2009 cup" section. You can choose any country, city, state, providence...anything with a flag, but yes - you must choose one. ayematthew 21:54, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Haha, cool! See you there, ayematthew 21:57, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RE PPVs

To tell you the truth dude. I'm working on all of the TNA PPVS. I'm really soon about to write every background and aftermath to every TNA PPV. I was going to do your idea with Bound for Glory as well, though instead take them all to FA and get a Featured Topic. I know it sounds selfish or something but I actually have my hand on every TNA PPV. It would be better if you tried to do a good topic with WWE New Year's Revolution. Seeing that one of them is already GA and just follow my example with TNA Bound for Glory and the main article. Sorry dude. It has been a dream of mine to expand them all.--WillC 22:20, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry to be rude and but in, but DoomsDay may expand the articles as he wishes. This is an encyclopedia and nobody owns articles. You can help him Will, but he can expand what he'd like. ayematthew 22:24, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I know, I know people, would you let me explain? I just really want too do it by my self. I know there is alot of ppvs. I just want to do it by my self. I'm not saying I own them. I'm asking nicely. To allow me to do them. I wanted to do the Bound for Glory stuff. That is why I started working on the main article. I just want to expand them all, either by my self or with someone. If you want to help me out then go right ahead. We could start by finishing Against All Odds 05.--WillC 22:30, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You cannot ask to work on articles alone. If a user is willing to help raise the quality of an article, they have every right. DoomsDay should not have to feel guilty about wanting to write articles... ayematthew 22:32, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I know that. Am I stoping him? no. I'm asjking him to let me work on them. If he wants to help me out, then he can. We together can take them to GA and then maybe FA. Not once have I said, "NO you can not work on them, they are mine". I'll take the help. I just like to work alone.--WillC 22:35, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, Doomsday. Would you like to work on all the TNA Bound for Glories together? I own the 07 edition on DVD. I got the event covered there and any special featured that are notable. I own and know where to find a few matches from 06 and almost entirely from 05. How would you like to work on this?--WillC 22:40, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
We can work on BFG together since that is more important that Turning Point. I actually have Turning Point 08 and 07 almost finished in subpages, I'm also working on the 04 in a subpage as well. User:Wrestlinglover/Turning Point (2004) User:Wrestlinglover/Turning Point (2007) User:Wrestlinglover/Turning Point (2008). I'd feel guilty if we didn't work together now.--WillC 22:45, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well if you look at it, BFG has the main article almost finished. I've worked on it a little in a subpage. BFG 05 and 06 need to be expanded entirely. 07 and 08 do as well but will take me a day to get them almost finished. Turning Point 04 need to be re-written entirely. It is unreliably sourced and in-universe. Turning Point 07 needs an event and aftermath which will not be a problem after I finish writing the background for Final Resolution Janaury 08. 08 one take me a day to finish since it needs to be sourced and event needs to be finished. Turning Point does seem like it has less to work with but you have a new clean slate with BFG and they are more important than Turning Point. I will help you on either one now. Turning Point has just as many to finish as BFG. Though a better idea would be Victory Road. There is four articles there. I'll finish the 08 article this week if we work on it. Not as much work there as there is anywhere else. You are not getting rid of me. I feel guilty now.--WillC 22:58, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
What? You've lost me. Are we working together or alone? GAN is backed up. It would be better to work together to get them there quicker. We both get the same amount of points.--WillC 23:01, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You might just want to look through my subpages. This pass week I've been creating subpages for every TNA ppv article. I'm up from Victory Road 04 to Slammiversary 05 now. I have from BFG 07 to Against All Odds 09. I also have a subpage for every TNA event article. I'm serious when I said I wanted to do them alone, but I'd rather work together with you now. It gets it done quicker.--WillC 23:05, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
See I have alot of time. I've really begun to think of myself as the over seer of the TNA stuff. I do not own it but want to make sure everything is good. So I ask to work with you on anything you choose to work on related to TNA ppv.--WillC 23:08, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, well since I have a plan to finsih all of the 2008 TNA ppvs, You work on Turning Point 05 and 06. I'll finish 08 and 07. Then we'll flip a coin to see who gets 04. You can have the main article. Since I've already begun on 07 and 08.--WillC 23:14, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
So we have a deal? You work on 3 of the Turning Point articles and I'll work on the ones I've already begun?--WillC 23:44, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Are you online dude?--WillC 23:59, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Patience, my friend :) ayematthew 00:01, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Turning Point is not long enough to be an FL. Six events is not really a list. You would have to ask SRX if it is long enough. Seeing that BFG is not long enough to be an FL.--WillC 00:06, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Can always do what I did with BFG. Just make it an article.--WillC 00:10, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That is what I was going to do. It is easier. Maybe you and me can work on the Victory Road stuff later. That will be simple to get to GA.--WillC 00:16, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, I fixed a few things in Turning Point; mainly with references because I have O.C.D and somethings were bugging me. If you need any help with any of the articles just let me know, . I would like to help with anything that deals with TNA ppvs, just keep that on mind. Also, next week or the end of this week, I'm going to start writing backgrounds and aftermaths to all the TNA PPV articles since I have a subpage for almost all of them and I'm going to begin with Victory Road 04 and work my way up to Genesis 09. Just let me know if you want me to write the background for Turning Point 05 and 06 since I'll be reading the Impact reports before and after those events. If you don't then tell me. I'll be happy to do them so you'll have more time to write and finish other stuff since edits don't really count till the cup begins. We'll good lucky with Unforgiven. Also, what happened to you working on Vengeance?--WillC 07:41, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, that would be good to work on. There are nine events, not enough for FL though. Have you ever though of doing maybe the Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, or WrestleMania? Rumble is at FL, but alot of the articles are at GA. What are you plans right now? You seem to change your mind alot. No offense, just wondering.--WillC 22:08, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If you don't want to do Turning Point, I will. See, I'll tell you the truth. I want the glory. See I live a dull miserable life. I'm home schooled and I haven't accomplished anything in a long time that is noteworthy. I was the only working on the TNA stuff and I've become abscessed with finishing all the TNA stuff by myself, though I'll work with someone on them if they want. That is one reason I was reluctant at wanting to give up BFG. Though it doesn't matter to me much anymore if someone works on TNA stuff or not. I don't own them, I can't stop anyone from working on them if they wish. Thought I would tell the truth. It seems selfish, but I own the truth to you. It has been bugging me since yesterday, hopefully you will not think of me differently. As for sources before 2002, you should talk to User:GaryColemanFan. He has got every article from SummerSlam (1992) to In Your House 1 to GA, though he still lacks Survivor Series (1992) and Royal Rumble (1993). You should ask him a good place to get sources from before 2002. He knows what he is doing. I worked with him on Lockdown (2008); he helped me get it to GA when it was in the dark door of failure.--WillC 22:36, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, but remember there might not be any left. I'm in the cup too and been thinking about how to get points for months now. You might go to bed Sunday night, get up Monday and see that all of the TNA ppvs articles are finished besides maybe two or three. As for Unforgiven, I believe you have two months in the cup before the finals begin, it will take at least two weeks for the FA to end. Lockdown is the most recent article that has FA potential. It has three supports and no opposes. They still think it goes too in-depth. Your best bet is to make sure every match states who is it it and how it ended and nothing more. That is what I've had to do it with Lockdown and it gets annoying. Your best bet at the moment is to try and finish No way Out. 04 is FA, 07 is a GA, while the rest are B or C. I would choose it. The Great American Bash would be a good idea ass well, though it is not long enough to become FL, unless you add the WCW history.Never heard of it, but if you know what you're doing then, what the hell go for it. I might involve myself into films like I told Thinkblue I would. Also, recently a page of TNA weekly ppv events was created. More reports can be made from them.--WillC 22:54, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Turning Point

For one, it is too short. The minimum a list can have to be an FL is 10 items.--SRX 01:12, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

I can see that happening, but it has FL potential in the future.--SRX 01:20, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

WikiCup notice

The 2009 WikiCup will begin on January 1, 2009. The first round will run through March 31, 2009. For more information on this tournament, read the "about" section on the main WikiCup page.

This year, we have a different system in calculating points. At User:Garden/WikiCup/Submissions, you will find information about submitting your article (and other) work to earn points. Each contestant will have their own individual subpage for submitting completed work to us.

This year, User:ST47 will also be running one of his bots to calculate mainspace edits and read your submission subpages to calculate the point values you receive based on our scoring chart.

Questions or comment? Ask at the talk page or go directly to Garden or IMatthew's talk page. Good luck and Happy Holidays! -- ayematthew and Garden. 14:14, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Whats up? You haven't been on much in the past few days, where have you been?--WillC 03:35, 2 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah I'm the same way. Though I've had sometime lately. Been trying to get done with some backgrounds for 2005 TNA events. I'm hoping by Saturday I'm starting or finished with Genesis (2005)'s Background and aftermath. Though right now I'm working on TNA Bound for Glory IV. I plan on it being my best article so I'm trying to do some research for a production section. Also, I'm about to write the background for Against All Odds 05. After I finish it and the aftermath, do you want me to place it on GAN or wait for a little bit, since we were working on it together?--WillC 03:51, 2 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, when you have a change, can you move Melissa Anderson to Cheerleader Melissa? The later needs to be deleted for a move. Check the project's talk page for the decision to move it. Thanks.--WillC 04:56, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Question

You really do jump around alot don't you? First Rumble now Backlash. Which one you taking to GAN first? Where did you go for those few days, if I may ask?--WillC 00:54, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hey no reason to be sorry to me. I just find it funny. You are like me. I was on Destination X (2008) and then jumped to Victory Road (2004). Well think of it this way, by the time backlash is on GAn you'll have two u there. I plan on very soon finishing Against All Odds (2005) and moving it to the correct page. Hey 60 points. I would keep on the GT idea. You aren't that far away from taking them all to GAN. There are already four GAns on the WWE side.--WillC 01:07, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well you will have to take at least one article in the 2007 bunch to be a controbutor and iMatthew as seemly called all the rest. Argageddon, WretsleMania, and the main article. Though he left the project so IDK. The Main article is going to be hard. I'm working on one for 2008 TNA.--WillC 01:16, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It would incorrect then. It would be a list of 2008 WWE PPVs which would be cruft. A template could be made for that, when one will have to be made for the topic. I would go with the article idea but your project, I'll go with the article idea you go with the list.--WillC 01:48, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I suggest going something along these lines: User:Wrestlinglover/2008 Total Nonstop Action Wrestling pay-per-view events. No where near done but it is a start.--WillC 01:54, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'll follow that format for all of them that I do. 05, 06, 07, and 08. Soon I'll start on one for 09 so that will be out of the way later this year. The one above is no where near finished. I need to re-write alot of it. It isn't even sourced.--WillC 02:02, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I need an admins help

Can you delete Template talk:TNA Wrestling? Some ip created it just to vandlize it.--WillC 23:11, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I just thought to delete it since no one pays attention to the templates and most discussions just take place on the project's talk page regrading the template anyway. I felt it was just another unneeded page.--WillC 23:20, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I can see you've done it. Good luck with Backlash, I just want to say try not to use too many WWE refs. It is something about self published sources I've heard about. I once tried to source Indestructible by Disturbed being used at Turning Point on the song's article and someone gave me a good reason why a source from TNA can't be used though they were holding the event. Ever since I've been reluctant to use TNA sources. Remember Genesis is tonight, it is protected so if you are watching the event be sure to make sure it is updated because there will be no ips.--WillC 23:34, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Here is the link to the guy who said stuff about self published sources: User talk:Wrestlinglover/Archive 4#RE:--WillC 23:50, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Please tell me that TNA did not fuck us with the Shelley vs Sabin match! Tell me they actually let them wrestle a good clean match with very a small amount of interference and a decent amount of time.--WillC 01:50, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I look forward to seeing it. I don't care if the rest of the event sucks. I was worried about their match. TNA may have hope yet.--WillC 02:04, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Cute Kip? Why Cute Kip?--WillC 03:41, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Dear God, couldn't they choose someone other than Kip. He gets alot of shit from people but they could of used someone better. Crap Lance Hoyt or bring someone in, but why Kip.--WillC 03:51, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Plus the fact that he is under contract and that he was doing nothing so they thought to get him off of his ass and make him work.--WillC 04:03, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Your event rating?--WillC 04:04, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Good, with how fucked up they boooked it during the show with changing all the gimmicks which I don't know why, I was wondering if they over booked it to a terrible mess.--WillC 04:29, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, hopefully people will give it a good rating.--WillC 04:44, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The closest I found was this: Wikipedia:Naming conventions (films)#Between films of the same name. I know there is one we belong too but it will take me a little while longer to find it.--WillC 03:49, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well I'm looking through the project archives because I remember there is a link to it somewhere in there. I'm the one who remove Rising Above in the first place so I'll explain the reason it is called 09. We name articles by the date they air. Since it is airing tomorrow in 2009 it was moved to 2009. It took place in 08, but I thought to move it anyway, for consistency. This is a weird situation so we could discuss it at the project's talk page. Rising Above 2008 and Rising Above (2008) should both link to the 09 article.--WillC 04:04, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Took me a bit but I found the link: Wikipedia:Naming conventions (numbers and dates)#Articles on events--WillC 05:08, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I don't have one. I must have mis-cited the MoS, but I guess we should discuss this at the project. It is a weird situation since most PPVs air live. You want me or do you want to open a section at WT:PW.--WillC 20:42, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
