Miss Universe 2020 will be the 69th Miss Universe pageant. Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa will crown her successor at the end of the event.

Designations

  •  Brazil - Julia Gama was appointed to represent the Brazil at the pageant. She previously represented the Brazil at Miss World 2014.
  •  Cayman Islands- Mariah Tibbets was appointed to represent Cayman Islands by the national director after the Miss Cayman Islands 2020 was postponed to early 2021 due to pandemic. She was previously runner up at last year's national pageant.
  •  Curaçao - Chantal Wiertz was appointed to represent Curaçao by the national director. She was runner up at last year's Miss Curaçao.
  •  Panama - Carmen Jaramillo was appointed to represent Panama at Miss Universe 2020 after the national pageant was postponed to next year due to pandemic. She previously represented Panama at the Miss Earth 2015.
  •  Portugal - Cristiana Silva was appointed to represent the Portugal at Miss Universe 2020 competition. She was runner up at last year's Miss Portugal.
