Excuse me, but I'm going to revert your changes. The setup of Hunger and Hunger (motivational state) was a result of careful consideration. There may be justification for changing it, but it needs to be discussed first. Please explain, preferably at Talk:Hunger, why you feel this change is the right thing to do (and I'll answer with why it isn't, and we can discuss it). Regards, Looie496 (talk) 15:56, 15 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just to follow up on that, the basic problem is that we were finding that many people care very deeply about hunger in the sense of malnutrition, and no matter what steps are taken, they will come to the article called hunger and add material about that topic. Struggling against that is just too much of a pain, in my opinion -- the only way to make the situation manageable is to have hunger be about malnutrition, even if that is not the right decision in a legalistic sense. At least that's my opinion; you can find the discussion that led to it at the bottom of Talk:Hunger. I'm certainly open to further discussion, though. Hello Twilight Chill. Regarding to you last edit in the article Azerbaijan: you actually reverted my edit without any motivation and actually don't leaving an edit summary at all. Warning

Your edits on the Eldiguzids and Nezami can be considered vandalism as you have no right to distort primary sources. Given that you are under AA2, I strongly advise you to use the talkpage next time and ask for clarification. --Khodabandeh14 (talk) 14:14, 23 December 2010 (UTC) If you need reference on the line about Nezami see here: [1](If you have a problem, I can upload the page). And if you need reference on the line on Eldiguzids, see here: [2] which is the source that states: "Eldiguz was originally a Qypchaq military slave". And note when they took power: "Ḵāṣṣ Beg Arslān b. Palangarī in 548/1153, who had been given a position in that area as well. His situation in Azerbaijan seems to have been regularized by a peace which he and Āq Sonqor II of Marāḡa concluded in 549/1154-55 with his enemy, Sultan Moḥammad b. Maḥmūd (Bondārī, Zobda, p. 243, Minorsky, “Marāgha,” EI1III, p. 263)."[3] which is after 1141 (when the Seljuq empire had real control and not nominal control). --Khodabandeh14 (talk) 14:33, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Please note, Eldiguz was born in 530/135-36. Nezami was born in 1141, and at that time, Seljuq controlled the area (when Eldiguz, the founder of the Eldiguzids was 5-6 years old). The Atabeg dynasties would still be considered part of the larger Seljuq empire anyhow, even if the period was much later, but it is not.--Khodabandeh14 (talk) 14:56, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

My mistake on the birth of Eldiguz, but he was given Arran in 1153 "and that on the vizier’s death he passed first to Maḥmūd, then to Sultan Masʿūd (527/1133 to 547/1152) who gave him Arrān as eqṭāʿ "[4] which is after 1146 , and even in 1153, it was still under full Seljuq control. That is why Britannica is correct in this case. Thanks.--Khodabandeh14 (talk) 15:17, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, they took control of the Seljuq Sultanate in 1160 (see their own article in wikipedia and Iranica). However, in the Nezami article, it has been mentioned that they controlled Ganja most of the later half of the 12th century. So Britannica is correct in putting the birth in the Seljuq empire as the Eldiguzids were under Seljuq control at the time (1141/1146..). --Khodabandeh14 (talk) 17:07, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I gave the hook an AGF approval because I'm willing to accept the information from Fabian Garin's work in counting the prose size. However, I do strongly recommend creating at least a stub on Garin based on the Russian Wikipedia article. Other DYK editors may disagree with the approval and consensus could emerge not to promote it but I think a Garin article would go a long way in establishing the encyclopedic worth of the text in the Samusenko article. Warning

For several months now, I have observed and documented your habit of you subtly removing and suppressing information from articles, often without any discussion and most of the time through false and misleading edit summaries. I believed that after the first few reverts and admonitions you would desist from such harmful activity but your most recent edit on the Caucasian Albania article, which you glibly termed as mere "clean up" when it in fact consisted of wholesale revisions and suppression of information relating to Armenia, appears to confirm the exact opposite. If you continue with such harmful activity, which is completely against the spirit and the letter of ArbCom 2, I will be forced to report you.--Marshal Bagramyan (talk) 21:00, 18 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Warning on edit-warring and disruptive editing

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users who edit disruptively or refuse to collaborate with others may be blocked if they continue. In particular the three-revert rule states that making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block. Work towards wording and content that gains consensus among editors. If unsuccessful, then do not edit war even if you believe you are right. If edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Vandorenfm (talk) 17:30, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Arbitration enforcement topic ban: Armenia and Azerbaijan

In application and enforcement of WP:AA2#Amended Remedies and Enforcement, you are topic-banned for one year from Armenia and Azerbaijan, as defined at WP:TBAN. The reason for this ban is explained in this AE thread.  Sandstein  22:46, 3 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Could you also check and control the two articles Ermenikend and Gulf of Iskenderun?

The reason is that User:Aramvan has started to resort to vandalism of the banned user ASALA by reverting the editions in both articles through copying the latter's chauvinistic and substandart editions.

Your recent arbitration enforcement request

You have requested arbitration enforcement against an editor in an Armenia and Azerbaijan-related matter. But you are topic-banned from this area of conflict (User talk:Twilight Chill#Arbitration enforcement topic ban: Armenia and Azerbaijan), and your AE report is not one of the exceptions recognized in Wikipedia:BAN#Exceptions to limited bans. I ask you to provide reasons, at WP:AE#Vandorenfm, why you should not yourself be sanctioned for violating your topic ban by making the enforcement request.  Sandstein  22:01, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

February 2011

To enforce an arbitration decision, you have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for violating your Armenia-Azerbaijan topic ban by making a topic-related arbitration enforcement request, as explained at [6]. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, please read the guide to appealing arbitration enforcement blocks and follow the instructions there to appeal your block.  Sandstein  09:36, 11 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notice to administrators: In a March 2010 decision, the Committee held that "Administrators are prohibited from reversing or overturning (explicitly or in substance) any action taken by another administrator pursuant to the terms of an active arbitration remedy, and explicitly noted as being taken to enforce said remedy, except: (a) with the written authorization of the Committee, or (b) following a clear, substantial, and active consensus of uninvolved editors at a community discussion noticeboard (such as WP:AN or WP:ANI). If consensus in such discussions is hard to judge or unclear, the parties should submit a request for clarification on the proper page. Any administrator that overturns an enforcement action outside of these circumstances shall be subject to appropriate sanctions, up to and including desysopping, at the discretion of the Committee."

Shakesepeare authorship question

Please do not make changes to the title of articles of such a controversial nature without discussing the matter on Talk. Do you really think there might be some confusion about whether this is William or some other writer called Shakespeare? Paul B (talk) 19:30, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think that adding the name is controversial: the presence of the first name serves the encyclopedic purposes. Also, there is William Shakespeare (disambiguation). Brandmeister t 19:35, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The existence of that page is irrelevant. Shakespeare redirects to William, of course, as it should. In all cases where there is more than one person with the name there are disambiguation pages, even if one person is overwhelmingly the best known. There are numerous books on Shakespeare which simply use the surname in the title, because there is not doubt at all which Shakespeare is meant. However, that's less important than the fact that you should discuss, not change willy-nilly just because you feel like it. This article has just gone through an arduous FAC candidacy. Paul B (talk) 19:39, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Edits

Hi, It had been a long time since I saw your edits - last seen on the Shroud page. I did not even know if you were still editing. If you look there now you will see Shroud film spam that was avoided after much discussion. But anyway, I do think your recent changes on the Jesus page were constructive. I have only been working on that page for a few weeks now. Now, two separate things:

  • I think it would be a good idea to make a Passion template with more details so it can have Herod, etc. If you want to do it, fine, else I can do it. The current template is long anyway.
  • I will try to fix the Last Supper page this week, and I wonder if you have time to look over it, given that it needs a lot of help. As I said on the talk page there it has all kinds of incorrect statements and is very choppy and inconsistent looking. I fixed the aristic parts now, but your suggestions on the biblical issues as that page gets fixed will be appreciated.

Cheers. History2007 (talk) 15:42, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, there is actually Template:Gospel Jesus, which includes all Passion events. I'll look through the Last Supper too. As for the Shroud, I'm thinking about something like Scientific analysis of the Shroud of Turin per WP:SPLIT since there are tons of dedicated sources. Brandmeister t 18:56, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, there is Template:Gospel Jesus but Carl objected to too much detail, and I think it does not have enough detail about the passion. So I will attempt a Passion template that can include Herod, the Seven last words, Farewell discourse, etc.
Regarding a split for the Shroud, it is guaranteed to generate debate and consume time. There are so many, many articles that need help that I would dread to go back to the Shroud now. But your statement is valid. The Jesus article still needs much help, as does the Last Supper. So those should really be helped first. The Last Supper does not tell the user about the supper, just talks fragments. I will suggest something in a day, then we can discuss it. But it is in really bad shape now. Cheers. History2007 (talk) 19:15, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, will help with Jesus and Supper then. Brandmeister t 19:20, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Great. I have now finished my first round of edits, removing the unsourced and incorrect items and adding structure. What needs help now is

  • Institution of the Eucharist: Some more theology and detail is needed here. But this is not crucial.
  • The Lead: This is in really bad shape. It is choppy and instead of summarizing the article it jumps around from point to point saying "in X it says Y"... "in A it says B'... It needs to provide a summary of the sequence of events in the narrative, something lik ethe Setting section that said:
The overall narrative that is shared in all Gospel accounts that leads to the Last Supper is that after the Triumphal entry into Jerusalem early in the week, and encounters with various people and the Jewish elders, Jesus and his disciples share a meal towards the end of the week. After the meal Jesus is betrayed, arrested, tried and then crucified. Key events in the meal are the preparation of the disciples for the departure of Jesus, the predictions about the impending betrayal of Jesus, and the foretelling of the upcoming denial of Jesus by Apostle Peter.

It needs to telegram the event smoothly, and now it does not. If you could fix the lead that would be a great help. Then we can think about the Eucharist section, and the theology o fit, etc. Cheers. History2007 (talk) 00:30, 19 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. But it is a subject worth fixing and removing tags, because a major subject like that should not have that many tags. And some tags are over-used anyway. History2007 (talk) 13:19, 20 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I noticed you promoted one of Kalakaua's photograph for a feature photo and got a lot of users to help clean it up. Do you think File:Kalakaua.jpg deserves the same honor? It's a really good closeup image of the king in white; I much prefer it to the one you promoted. Thank you.--KAVEBEAR (talk) 03:48, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You may try to nominate it, but the current version has higher resolution, looser crop and better contrast. Brandmeister t 21:48, 26 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That's why I came to you. I have no knowledge on how to go about doing that. Also I don't think people would be too enthusiastic about nominating a second image of the same person. Also there is a higher resolution version at the Library of Congress just to let you know. Ultimately I just wanted to find someone to jack the image up and make it look as good if not better than the one you nominated. --KAVEBEAR (talk) 02:12, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Assistance communicating with Russian editor

Could you help me communicate with User:Demark7 (see his talk-page for where I tried)? His content appears to be cut'n'pasted from other websites and/or is original-research, but all I can really do is Google Translate. I saw you listed at Wikipedia:Local Embassy, so perhaps you can more easily figure out whether he is actually trying to discuss something and propose an article for inclusion here, or needs to be sent to ru.wp, or needs to be warned more strongly about soapboxing and other misuse issues? Hi there. I notice you have moved New Zealand Internet Blackout to New Zealand Internet blackout. Can you please explain why you did this as my understanding of Wikipedia:Naming conventions (capitalization) is that for proper names, i.e. of persons, places or events (such as the NZIB) it is correct to have them in capitals. Just thought I'd ask before simply reverting. Cheers. Daveosaurus (talk) 02:22, 21 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Google suggests this isn't a proper name to be consistently capitalized by sources. You may restore it anyway if references show otherwise. Brandmeister t 11:10, 21 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Vilyam Fisher article

Brandmeister,

The article in question, you have moved Vilyam Fisher has been on Wikipedia for around 7 years. Now why the is the decision for it to be made for a name change? Adamdaley (talk) 00:29, 11 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Check out the titles in Category:Soviet people/Russian people and subcats. There is a significant consistency. Brandmeister t 00:33, 11 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Why I'm asking is until now, someone has realised this. It even became a GAN article recently and has passed. No mention of the shortening of the article name in the GAN review. Why change the name now? Adamdaley (talk) 00:39, 11 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe because he's not an ethnic Russian in fact. You may revert if you wish. Brandmeister t 00:42, 11 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Revert the article name? Do you mean? Adamdaley (talk) 00:43, 11 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. Brandmeister t 00:44, 11 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It will probably get changed again if I do. It's even changed the GAN points Review Release to less than half the points due to this. Adamdaley (talk) 00:47, 11 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I've now realised the archives for this talkpage has no archives. So the archives have been lost. Adamdaley (talk) 01:26, 11 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Matty Dean. Khojaly - "Manipulated evidence"

The section "Manipulated evidence" has almost completely been deleted with inexplicable reasons. The User "Grandmaster" (by the way: This user page has been vandalized 23 times) is almost deleting everything which is not "pro-Azerbaijani" and against his view, probably because of his own Azerbaijani backgroud which I found unsustainable!

The reasons for deleting almost the entire section "manipulated evidence" was "neutral tone, rm unsourced chunks, speculation and partisan referencing, please discuss before further additions". Please explain me what exactly you mean with "unsourced chunks"? Every "chunk" in my text ends with sources! Altogether there are 10 different sources mentioned.

And just to get this clear… Azerbaijani news-sites or obviously dubious sources like "www.hocalisoykirimi.com" are accepted and ok but sources like... - an original video interview of the person one is citing - Armenian news-sites - Russian news-websites (third-party-source) - the report "Ethnic Cleansing in Progress" (third-party-source) - "The European Center for Artakh" (a registered association from Germany)

... which are all sources I have used for "manipulated evidence" are considered to be "speculation and partisan referencing"?! If an original video interview is used to depict something, this is called "speculation"?! How can something be speculation if the fact can be heard in a video?

As long as Azerbaijani sources are considered to be neutral and non-partisan I don't want my detailed sourced(!) texts to be deleted completey just because it does not fit to someones point of view.

--Aghetrichter (talk) 02:15, 26 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You should use the article's talk page, not user's personal page for discussion. As for your sources, as Brandmeister said, they are all partisan, including The European Center for Artakh, which is run by the Armenian diaspora. The official page of the website speaks for itself. Please use third party sources only. And hocalisoykirimi has not been used in the article. Grandmaster 07:48, 26 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Muhammad RfC

You might want to have a look at the Muhammad RfC -- you added your comments after it was closed and so now people are deleting them. I've restored them twice but I can't keep doing so. My view is that it is improper for other editors to delete your comments; if the people closing the RfC want to ignore them for having been added too late, then fine -- but if they want to consider them on their merits then it's up to them. Nomoskedasticity (talk) 11:07, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Brandmeister. The person who deleted your comments means no offense, but closing dates for these things are bright lines and they have to be. When do we stop accepting new input? Whose late additions stay and whose don't? I'm sure you can understand that you missed the window and there is no malice in enforcing the rules. I've reverted Nomoskedasticity and I cannot understand why he hasn't appealed to you to revert yourself or to leave your comments out, since again the commenting period is closed. Cheers.Griswaldo (talk) 12:01, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It is (naturally) worth noting that Griswaldo expressed a view in the RfC that doesn't agree with your own. Nomoskedasticity (talk) 12:07, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Brandmeister. This links to my reverting your comments at the Muhammad images RfC. There is a conversation on my talk page about this situation. I apologise if I've behaved inappropriately Brandmeister. It seemed like the natural thing to do: I assumed you had overlooked the fact that the RfC was closed. If I had thought you had deliberately challanged that social norm, a formal closing date for submissions to an RfC, I most certainly would have taken the matter up on your talk page. --Anthonyhcole (talk) 12:27, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have no objection to removal, just didn't notice that it is closed. I'll probably repost the edit on RfC's talk. Brandmeistertalk 12:31, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It's as likely to be read there as it is on the RfC page. I think this triumvirate will be quite diligent. You can be confident your views will be taken into account. --Anthonyhcole (talk) 12:39, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Need to see this.

diff As you might see, your last vote has been deleted from RfC since it was not within the provided time-lime of the said RfC. While, I discourage you from getting involved in edit-war, I urge you to write that delayed but valuable comment in the talk-page of the RfC (thus it may get some amount of exposure). And that could help improve wikipedia.  Brendon ishere 17:44, 22 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Non-admin closure of Ell & Nikki AfD article - No proper consensus

Hi, did you close Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ell & Nikki discussion? I do not believe that you should've done it as no proper consensus has been reached. So far only those that were involved in the discussion were editors mainly involved with the WikiProject Eurovision and the frequent editors of the article itself who were strongly against this action before it has been proposed. It needs the evaluation of other editors and not just those within these sectors of Wikipedia.

My purpose of nominating that for deletion was for those from WikiProject Music to also get involved. My reason for wanting to delete the article is because I feel that there is no need to treat Ell & Nikki as a group/duo act in this site when I strongly believe they should be treated as separate artists who won the Eurovision Song Contest together much like how Paul Harrington and Charlie McGettigan who won the Eurovision Song Contest 1994 with Rock 'n' Roll Kids. Therefore I opened that AfD for the article to let other users outside WikiProject Eurovision to evaluate it properly. I have already left a message on WikiProject Music's talk page but I received no responses. I suggest re-opening this discussion and then moving it to an appropriate page such as this here instead since the article is also under this project's scope. Also please don't reply on my talk page. Just here instead. Thank you :-) Bleubeatle (talk) 02:07, 9 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

There was a clear consensus to Keep the article. Bleubeatle I admire your enthusiasm to have this article deleted. But you are fighting against community consensus and WP:MUSIC guidelines. Cheers.--BabbaQ (talk) 07:43, 9 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. The article instantly gained nine reasoned keeps and no deletes, this is the case of WP:SNOW. Further voting there seems to be pointless. Brandmeistertalk 08:53, 9 June 2012 (UTC
Can Bluebeatle explain how he reached the conclusion that WikiProject Eurovision members were "strongly against this action before it has been proposed"? How does one know what other editors think about a proposal before they even propose it to them? In any case, the opinion of WikiProject Eurovision members is as valid as those from WikiProject Music, and discarding the opinion of either project is inappropriate and would not represent a "proper" consensus. I count four non-WikiProject Eurovision editors who commented, all of whom were opposed to deletion, so I think it is fair to conclude that this proposal has been rejected and that closure was appropriate. This result is probably due to the lack of a valid policy based reason for deletion; Bleubeatle's reading of WP:BIO1E was incorrect, as explained in the AfD. CT Cooper · talk 10:49, 9 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
CT Copper, a lot of users came to my talk page before I created that AfD discussion. It was right after I proposed the deletion and before I nominated the article for deletion. I've read the WP:BIO1E article already before nominating it for deletion. I wanted to get the evaluation of non-WikiProject Eurovision users as well that's all. Please don't assume that I have no precise knowledge of the topic as my only intention was to help Bleubeatle (talk) 01:50, 10 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I have made no comment which claims that you have no knowledge of the topic, nor that you hadn't read BIO1E, only that you had misunderstood BIO1E, which I stand by based on the evidence presented to me. CT Cooper · talk 22:04, 10 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Why? it is a> Not just "British", b> it is not a "fait-accomplit" and has not been passed into law in all 16 realms. --Education does not equal common sense. 我不在乎 21:46, 15 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, that was a bad move. We spent some time coming up with the best (albeit long) title when we started the page, and as nothing has yet been approved - except in principle by PMs - nothing has happened to warrant changing the original title. Ghmyrtle (talk) 22:20, 15 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I think Brandmeister is confusing a few things and does not understand the democratic process of the "western world". A Prime minister can approve that the line of succession rules be changed, but that does not make the changes happen. In most commonwealth realms, different laws have to be passed to update the rules in their realm, which takes time. In Canada, for example, it has been argued that not only the federal government would have to pass the laws, but all 10 provinces would also have to agree to amend the constitution, as it would be a change to the office of "Queen". Until any or all the realms pass the appropriate laws to update the rules, it is still just a proposal.--Education does not equal common sense. 我不在乎 22:52, 15 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. A few weeks ago you moved the article Existence of God(s) to Existence of God amid an requested move. However, the discussion was never officially closed. I concurred that this was the consensus in the discussion and have closed the discussion as such, however, to avoid mishaps (and potential move wars) it is important that such discussions take their course. For the future, please read up on the requested moves process and the closing instructions, in particular on non-admin closures, and let me know if you have any questions. Warning: In the Azerbaijan article, the map of Azerbaijan showing its de-jure borders is relentlessly being replaced with map which shows Nagorno-Karabakh as a legitimate entity

User:MauriManya is relentlessly replacing in the infobox of the Azerbaijan article, the map "Azerbaijan (orthographic projection).svg" which shows Azerbaijan with its de-jure borders and is replacing it with the map "Azerbaijan with Nagorno Karabakh and region.svg" which shows Nagorno-Karabakh as a legitimate entity. The user is not impartial and neutral and is only and relentlessly doing this unilateral map replacement in the Azerbaijan article, but interstingly enough not in other articles of countries which are in the same situation as Azerbaijan. Could you watch this user and revert his unilateral map replacements of Azerbaijan in the country article. Move question

Why did you move Terror Attacks in Kenya to Terrorism in Kenya? The article dealt with a specific series of incidents, rather than terrorism as a whole, so it seems to me like Terror Attacks in Kenya would be a better title. CMD (talk) 16:33, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

We did not have Terrorism in Kenya before. I think all terrorist attacks in Kenya can be currently accommodated within Terrorism in Kenya, unless the info on attacks is too big, thus justifying the split. Brandmeistertalk 16:53, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Urgent! In Wikimedia Commons, could you revert User:MauriManya's unilateral edition Azerbaijan (orthographic projection).svg denying the map to Wikipedia users showing the de-jure borders of Azerbaijan (even though there is already an alternative map of Azerbaijan showing de facto situation with Nagorno-Karabakh)

In Wikimedia Commons, could you revert User:MauriManya's unilateral edition Azerbaijan (orthographic projection).svg where s/he put Nagorno-Karabakh in it, without waiting for the response or permission of the creator User:Night w who seems to be currently inactive since June 2012. The problem is that many Wikipedia pages use this map showing the de-jure borders of Azerbaijan (without showing Nagorno-Karabakh). And as there is already an alternative map Azerbaijan (orthographic projection).svg with Nagorno-Karabakh in it, could you revert that user's unilateral edition to its original state of the User:Night w? Unfortunately the User:MauriManya has violated this by exploiting User:Night w's absence and is deliberately denying the map to Wikipedia users in its original state because that user has a political agenda.

Thank you

Your reverts at Ramil Safarov

Brandmeister, following the two reverts you made at the article today although it is under a clearly visible sanction of one revert per week for any editor, and given my final warning and your backlog of Armenia/Azerbaijan-related issues I have now reported you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard. My suggestion there is an indefinite topic ban for you. Please feel free to comment over there. De728631 (talk) 17:55, 14 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I would not comment on AN any longer, but after doing this [8] [9] [10], [11] (a 3RR violation, although you might argue about enforcing BLP rules), you did this [12][13], a few days after the notice of editing restriction, and now denying the obvious? Not a good idea. My very best wishes (talk) 15:52, 15 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I don't see whose actions this alleged revert undid. On September 8 the sumgait.info issue has been solved. By September 13 we had a completely unsourced claim, that was properly treated in accordance with WP:Verifiability in particular. Brandmeistertalk 16:43, 15 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The motive is obvious from reading the article. Hence I do not mind if it would be excluded from the infobox, exactly as I said in RSN discussion you linked to. There is another problem: you made a serious of reverts in the beginning of September. Then you came back, soon after the article was placed under 1RR restriction, made the same revert and still believe it was not revert. If so, you are going to be banned. Unless you realize your mistake and will not repeat it. My very best wishes (talk) 17:06, 15 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It was not "the same revert", but an ordinary edit made in accordance with the existing verifiability policy. After sumgait.info has been discouraged, the infobox claim became completely unsourced. The article's talkpage has an explicit BLP disclaimer, saying that "contentious material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately".
