KUBC (580 AM "AM580/FM104.5 KUBC The Canyon") is a radio station broadcasting a classic rock format. It previously broadcast a news/talk format for 14 years & previously had been Country, Classic Country, Standards, A/C & Pop. KUBC The Canyon is a classic rock format programmed from and for Montrose. The station is owned by Townsquare Media through Townsquare License, LLC. [2]

History

On February 19, 2020, KUBC changed its format from news/talk to classic hits, branded as "KUBC Gold". KUBC is simulcast on FM translator K283CZ 104.5 FM Montrose.[3]

On April 3, 2023, KUBC changed its format from classic hits to classic rock, branded as "KUBC The Canyon".[4]
